The decor was great. Our first time here and there was no wait. We were not aware you can bring your own bottle of wine. However, we ordered our favorite sparkling water. We ordered chicken Milanese and pasta with Italian sausage. All was very well done and seasoned. The waitstaff were very nice and professional. We had ricotta cheesecake and coffee for dessert. The ricotta cheesecake was delicious! This was our first time having ricotta cheesecake. All in all, our experience was amazing. Verona Restaurant will see us again.

61 years, this is a first, we go early to dinner mostly, we arrived at Verona, one of our top ten regular restaurants, today we were greeted by Tim, the host, and he said we needed to hurry up and eat because he had a 6:00 reservation, in the entire restaurant, one table had guests. The service from the cook and waiter was great, the ambiance didn't exist, too annoyed for that, the food was fabulous, like always, but Tim.....you ruined it, we will never be back, I actually suggested we go to Rosie's Trattoria after your rudeness, we are now also going to Cliffs for our dessert. You should not have that job or position. You were rude, and you cost your establishment, unhappy customers, and hope many read this. Tim = Bad for business. We will remember Tim, not the food or service or ambiance, only Tim. Tim, you brought this from 4 stars to 2 stars. Tim........SMH

It's been a few years since my wife and I last dined at Verona. This past week, we decided to stop in again. The Prix Fixe menu is no longer offered on weekdays which is too bad since it was very good. The restaurant itself though is still very nice with a good Italian menu. We started off with the Mozzarella Carrozza appetizer. Dipping this into the tomato sauce was very good. I ordered the Fettuccine Bolognese and my wife had the Chicken Verona. While the fettuccine was good, she made the better choice. We topped off the meal with cappuccinos and homemade tiramisu. The tiramisu was fantastic, I'd definitely recommend ordering it if you dine here. There was a good crowd here on a Thursday night, so I'd suggest you make a reservation if headed here.

Here's the deal: This BYOB is at the end of a small strip of stores. It has both indoor & outdoor seating. I was here 7-8 years ago and I left feeling the same way as I did then. It's definitely a good spot for a group, but the ambiance doesn't scream romantic "date night" place. They serve all the standard dishes! The chili calamari was chewy $17.00. The regular calamari is $13.00 .. not sure the addition of hot vinegar peppers made it special? The special Parma crusted chicken w/ lemon was just "ok". But for $30.00 I hoped for more. The Veal Sorantino $28.00 was good (a staple item well done! ) For dessert the Bread Pudding was very good! So overall the I guess this place does consist business, so it's doing something right.

Duck ragu over risotto sticks and a carrot ginger puree

This is by far the best restaurant in Randolph. My husband and I moved from Manhattan and were really struggling to find quality food. So glad we came across this golden gem. The calamari was great (perfectly fried, light and crispy). The duck ragu was spectacular. Braised duck over risotto sticks and a carrot ginger puree. Such a wonderful combination! Highly recommend Verona for a lovely dinner!

The decor was very nicely decorated. Our server greeted us and asked our preferred water. Then gave us menus including wine list and specials of the day. After taking our wine order a plate of antipasto and bread came to our table. We started with a shrimp appetizer off the menu it was in a tasty sauce with artichoke hearts, tomato and capers. A great start. After finishing our appetizer our entrees arrived. We had the chicken francaise, chicken with hot peppers and sausage and I had the double cut veal chop. Everything had a little potato and vegetable on plate. But we also ordered a side of mashed potato and asparagus. All of the meal was presented nicely as well as tasted great. The. The staff is lovely, attentive without being overbearing, and helpful with recommendations or things to try. All the food is fantastic but what we got this night was: - Calamari (forgot to take a photo it was so good), which are large rings lightly battered accompanied by a gravy boat size holder of spicy marinara sauce. - Special: Homemade meat lasagna - MASSIVE and covered with lots of meat sauce. Unless you have a bottomless pit of a stomach, you will be taking half of this home. - Special: Chicken pecan - unique and fantastic. Two large pieces of chicken along with mashed potatoes and broccoli. - Chicken parm- the pro tip is to get it with vodka sauce instead of marinara. Trust me. You won't regret it. - Rigatoni Torino- their pink vodka sauce is the place to be so that with the peas and crumbled sausage is *chef's kiss*. As an FYI, they do have a gluten free pasta in case that's needed (it's only in penne form, if you care). Fantastic meal. Cherry on top that it's BYOB, so bring a couple of bottles and some friends, and you'll have a great night.

The Greek salad which i was excited to try was plated nicely in a tower shape, tomato's , cucumbers and feta was crumbled on top. It has plenty of calamata olives, which i thought was generous . Maybe too much , I was missing anchovies and didn't bother to ask about it. The server asked me what kind of dressing do i want ? Greek of course i said. So they gave me oil and vinegar and it was spiced with the right herbs , I don't think you need to ask what dressing goes on a Greek salad , seemed obvious to me. I ate half of the salad , packed the rest . I kindly wanted to bring to the attention. To the chef that there were wayyyy too many chopped red onions . I showed her , who will eat chunks of red onion - it was a miss on the chef - otherwise it was a good salad- I threw out the excess of onions . . . Just a few sliced red onions is fine. I was in the mood for Italian food, so we decided to give this place a shot. I called ahead to check availability, and I'm glad I did! We didn't have a reservation, but thankfully the manager let us know that they'd have a table ready for us around 7:20pm (it was roughly 7pm when I called). My husband and I were just down the street, so we decided to go ahead and make our way there. Once we got seated, we were quickly greeted by our server, Mike. He was very attentive and friendly! We later learned that it was his second day on the job, which we found shocking as he did such a great job! As for the food... I'll be honest, I was a bit disappointed. I ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana (my favorite Italian dish) and my husband ordered the Risotto Primavera. The Eggplant Parmigiana was not crispy at all, which was super disappointing! It had a great flavor, but I prefer a crispy texture so this didn't really hit the spot for me. It came with linguini noodles with tomato sauce, which was very bland. Whatever sauce they used did not have a great taste to it. As for the Risotto Primavera...it had a RICH flavor to it. My husband said "it's good, but not good enough to order again". I, on the other hand, didn't like it as I thought it was just too rich in taste. The food wasn't the best, but I'm giving them 4 stars because the overall service was fantastic! Everyone was so attentive, helpful and friendly, from the host to our server to the manager. It's rare these days to find a team where everyone is pitching in and happily doing so!
