The initial service and quality of work were solid, but things fell apart when it came to follow-through. They were hired to repair a window and tune up the remaining sliders, which they did. We had also agreed they would replace a cracked window handle. They assured me they'd take care of it, but when I followed up, it hadn't been done. I was later told they needed to order the part -- fair enough -- but since then, I've followed up multiple times with no response. All I needed was a part number, but they've completely gone silent. It all started when our garden window broke. We contacted Versa Glass, and spoke with Sam. He gave us options to repair the window, because we weren't planning on a whole new installation. I am utterly shocked by the disorganization and unprofessionalism of this glass company. I chose to go with Versa as they were the first to appear in a google search, and for starters they claim "same day" service which wasn't available so we made an appointment for the next day. 12:30-4 was our appointment window so we rearranged our work schedules to be home .... well 4 o'clock rolls around and no one showed so we called. Apparently a truck had broken down and all of the appointments for that day were cancelled--would have been nice to know they cancelled our appointment before waiting around all day. Then we rescheduled for the next day. Again, no one showed by 4 o'clock and when I called we weren't even in the system. So here I wasted another afternoon sitting around for someone from Versa to show up and my window is still broken. Instead of risking a third wasted afternoon I've now decided to go with another company. read more

When I first began working with Versa - I was a little hesitant due to some of the comments left but as time went on I found them easy to work with and honest. I found this company on yelp. They had the best reviews out of everyone that I called. The guys came out to measure twice. I was given a quote of between $1,600-$1,800 the day of the 1st measurement. All of the other companies couldn't give me a rough quote and made me wait days before giving me a price. Once I decided to go with versa and the final measurements were done and the glass was ordered I was given a final price of $1,750 which was still less than I expected to pay. My tile is glass tile which requires a little more work to ensure it doesn't break. Other companies were afraid to even give me a quote because they didn't want the liability of breaking the tile. My shower glass looks amazing. I was told that it would take about a week for glass to be made. I ordered on a thursday evening and received a call the following tuesday saying that the glass would be ready Wednesday morning and that it could be installed that eveing. Installation took about a total of 4 hours. The guys had to come back the next day after realizing the manufaturer sent a bent clip which was causing the shower door to open incorrectly. My parents' house had a broken window over a weekend. They were looking into getting it fixed soon and called a couple of people to come check out the broken window and no one came. Ryan and Versa Glass was the only company that offered to stop by on the spot and gave a quote at NO CHARGE, while other companies charged about $20 to make the trip and give a quote. Sam was the technician that came out to inspect the broken window and was very friendly and professional. We were thinking the whole window had to be replaced but Sam assured us that the window needed a glass replacement on the fixed window NOT the entire window. He gave options of the type of window glass replacement my parents could get and the prices were very reasonable!
