This company had a very reasonable prices which was lower than most of the competition with the same or better warranty and quality of product. They were able to customize the glass for a few of the windows for my situation having artificial turf. But the windows are still California compliant and passed inspection for the permit. The installation was completed in one day. They did a good job cleaning up after the work was completed. I recommended them to a few co workers at the office.

Bay King was not the cheapest nor the most expensive, but their level of customer service made it the best value. In the end, their commitment to their customers is well worth the price they quoted. They went the extra mile to help patch up some parts of the wall near the doors. Additionally they also tighten up some parts of the door sweep so for best insulation. The work was prompt and I felt happy that they followed up afterwards. Unfortunately my hardware didn't come in time and when I tried installing it after it didn't quite fit. They were able to set up some time to come address it immediately. Their dedication to their customers is really amazing. Their double hung windows are easy to clean, They pivot out. However, their sliding windows do not. You must lift them and carefully tilt them toward you in order to remove for cleaning. WHAT!! I'm in my mid-seventies, and they are extremely heavy. I cannot lift them out by myself. Their sales people need to be more tuned into who they are marketing too, and offer another solution to huge front window sliders. I am learning my lesson hiring national companies, rather than local. The cost is huge on national companies because someone has to pay for monumental marketing costs. I went with a local company to complete the rest of my windows/doors, and it was 1/3 the cost of what I paid renewal. I say go with a local company and help support local businesses. Another thing I don't like about these slider windows, is that because they open from either side, when you shut the window (if opened on one side only) the other side seems to drag/open a bit, so you now have to push and hold it in while continuing to shut the other side.
