Very unassuming spot but my friends insisted I get the muffuletta from this here. At first we thought $30 for a full sandwich was pricy, but once it came out we understood. This thing is BIG. Trust me when I say "you only need half."The spicy-level was a little higher than I typically go for, but was still very delicious. Just make sure you have some Kleenex! Service was fast and I appreciated the late-night hours. Recommend!

I watched a few two YouTube videos that said this place had the best muffaletta in the city. Damn man, I beg to differ as you can see there's only one slice of meat and a hell of a lot of olive salad very thick bread and very, very greasy with olive oil unfortunately there is nothing about this muff that I enjoyed and I just wanted you to know there are lots of places in New Orleans that have a lot better muffle than verti Marte

    All That Jazz Sandwich

Verti Marte is one of those classic New Orleans spots that totally lives up to its reputation. I ordered the famous "All That Jazz" sandwich and it did not disappoint--super flavorful, packed with fillings, and just downright delicious. It's messy in the best way possible and exactly what you want after a long day (or night) in the city. I also love that they're open 24/7, which makes it such a clutch spot no matter the time--late night, early morning, whenever the craving hits. No-frills, iconic, and seriously satisfying--definitely a must-try in NOLA!

Huge & delicious!!! 2 people can share one sandwich they are massive. Nyc bodega vibes. Opted for the grilled Muffuletta and it hit the spot!

I was super sketched out by how the inside of this spot looked. It was a messss and the kitchen looked... well not tidy. Food looked like it had been sitting out all day and some things just looked old. HOWEVER I decided to trust the reviews and see what people were raving about. I'll say that Po'Boy was DELICIOUS ! I ordered a fried shrimp one with the dressing (aka all the toppings). I would order from here again. I didn't realize before coming to NOLA that Po'Boys were just anything in a French bread. Basically just French bread sandwich, I typically wouldn't order something like that especially with so many great food options but it was GREAT!!! There's not much interacting since this is just your local corner store / bodega. You order at register and take a number. There is NO SEATING inside or outside. We went at 11 pm one night and it took about 10-15 min wait for food. We got one sandwich and split it.

    Cheese fries Roast Beef poboy

Went to Verti Marte late at night after Dirty Linen and got the cheese fries and a roast beef poboy. Both were really good and full of flavor. I normally get the shrimp poboy here and it's always good and comes out quick. Definitely don't go here expecting a 5 star dining experience, it's a little corner store. But if you want good, flavorful food late at night, Verti Marte is a solid choice. A few drinks in and you might start thinking it's a 5 star restaurant though.

If you didn't know any better, you'd walk right past this place thinking it's just another tiny hole-in-the-wall grocery shop at the edge of the French Quarter. But step inside, squeeze through cramped aisles, order at the counter, and prepare for a life-changing sandwich. I ordered the legendary "All That Jazz" and it lived up to every ounce of the hype. This is a generous-sized toasted sandwich that is absolutely packed to the brim. Every single ingredient is flavor-oozing, creating this messy, decadent, and perfectly seasoned harmony of ham, turkey, roast beef, and melted cheeses. The real star of the show - shrimps. You get a good amount of shrimps in every single bite, and they are grilled to perfection--not rubbery, just juicy and soaking up all that "Wow Sauce." It's take-out only, so grab your sandwich, walk a few blocks to the river or a nearby park bench, and enjoy. It's not fancy, it's not spacious, but it is hands-down one of the best things you will eat in New Orleans. Don't skip this one!

I was drawn to the numerous reviews that praised this spot. It was a lil walk from the French market. This deli market is located in the back of a small corner store, and it is a tight fit. If you're claustrophobic, you're gonna have a bad time. The options are pretty vast, with even a few options for vegetarians. Order at the main counter of the store and bring the ticket back to the sandwich counter, and they make your sandwich fresh. I went for a spicy mufuletta, as I had never encountered a spicy variation of this classic sandwich. It was a hefty sandwich that is easily shareable between two people without huge appetites. Flavor wise it was delicious, with plenty of olive mix. My only quibble was that both my sandwich and my companion's sandwich were on the greasy side. Make sure to have plenty of napkins. There's also some cold premade non sandwich items to take home as well as some desserts. Oh, it's also worth mentioning there is no seating here at all. You'll have to trek your way to the French market for open seating or take the sandwich back to the hotel room.

This was my last food stop in NOLA before flying back to Calfornia. This place was recommended so had to give it a try. It's within the French Quarters a store and deli market open 24hrs. Ordered 1/2 Mufaletta considering it was going to be huge. It's basically NOLA's. version of an anti-pasta Italian sandwich. You order and pick up at the back of the market. I love olives but there was too much olives. The sandwich was decent and better than most of the food I had ate in the area. Stop by here if you're in the area. It's also near several haunted places including the Lalaurie Mansion and Zack and Addie Murder House.

    6 shrimp shrimp Philly (fail)
    J B.

I Called myself starting off 26' right going for some flavor and variety with my 1st po-boy of the new year so Verti Marte was the choice. It's the go to spot for specialty poboys at least it used to be. I ordered the shrimp Philly cost ($20) and literally came with 6 butterflied medium sz grilled shrimp 3 on each half 3!! The rest was bell pepper mushroom and onion with wow sauce filler. The bread was soft and warm the veggies with the wow sauce were good (1star) but I paid for a shrimp Philly not a grilled vegetable sandwich with wow sauce for $20. The service is always the same (1star) for the ability to call in your order but not consistent with the inflated prices & decreased portions & Quality. They have taken a Nosedive but the branded logo sandwich wrap paper was a nice touch & looked better than my sandwich at least. I'm disappointed to see such a staple Fall off especially charging those prices. They definitely for the tourist & FQ transplant residents now. Hopefully they get back on track until....... I wouldn't recommend.

    All That Jazz Sandwich

After the first two spots we tried to grab food at were closed on Easter Sunday, we decided to stop by Verti Marte and fortunately they were slinging sandwiches. We ordered an All That Jazz to split, paid at the front, grabbed our food from the back counter, and then walked to the French Market to sit down and eat. It was definitely a messy sandwich but stuffed full of meat and mushrooms and cheese. The bread had gotten a little squashed and soggy in transport but overall, delicious sandwich that would be great for late night tipsiness :P

    All That Jazz Sandwich

We stopped by for some muffulettas because when in New Orleans, it's a must. We ordered the All that Jazz ($19) and Po Boy Muffuletta ($15.34). It ended up being $38.38 with tax or $39.91 (with the card fee). To start, the shop was very small, there were some aisles to get to the back where the sandwiches were. It's a very tight fit, so if your group is large maybe have 1 person have a list of what you want to order and only a couple people go in to grab the muffulettas. The owner of the shop was nice and the ordering was pretty simple where you order at the register at the front first and then proceed to the back for pick up. The sandwiches were large but very messy. There are no places to sit at the shop so we opted to walk the French Market and sit on some benches at the park to grub. To be honest, you could share one with another person. The sandwiches were very heavy, saucy and a little soggy. I thought it was a bit too salty for my taste but the flavors were good. Overall, large sandwiches, tad salty, but nice service. Stop by if you're in the area!

All that jazz Sando $23 (4/21/26) Who ever said this Sando was good lied! Or was drunkkkk af. Foreals lol It was super salty and just nasty! Super soggy! Salty and gross! Super small market. You order at the cashier and wait for your order outside. This was just not worth it. The hype is insane. -0/5

Do they take calls for a pickup order? Or do I have to go through the food apps?

    They take calls for orders!

Do they serve po'boys after 11 pm?

Do crawfish live in the swamp? You bet they do!!!

    Do they sell tshirts?

Green ones in stock now, baby blue will be next

Is proof of vaccination or negative COVID test required here?

They didn't ask when I went a couple weeks ago. I think because it's more like a small corner store with a deli counter in the back (no indoor or outdoor seating), they don't ask.

    What is the Muffuletta price?

    The original Muffuletta is $10.50!

Hi do y'all take credit card?

    Yes.

    Will they deliver to Marigny?

NO. They just a bodega. Maybe Grubhub or UberEats may help.

Can you order a half of the All that Jazz sandwich instead of a whole? I don't see it on the menu.

don't know.... but get the whole thing and have leftovers (so good to only have a 1/2)

Is there somewhere to sit down?

No. It’s a pretty tight corner store with a deli in the back. Take it go and find a stoop or bench. So worth it.

    Is anything vegan here?

Really not the place to go for vegans. Possibly some vegetarian options (menu changes daily) but there is going to butter and/or cheese in/on just about everything here. That's why it's SO good!

Does Verti Marte offer catering/ large format orders? I live out of town, but am throwing a party for about 60 folks in NOLA and would love to have their food for my guests.

Give them a call. I don't know how involved they would get in formal "catering", but providing food for that many people shouldn't be an issue

If you're visiting for the first time, crawfish or shrimp Monica is a local favorite that's getting harder to find on restaurant menus partly because every family has their own version of this special party dish. The Monica special was outstanding. I got a plate full of spicy crawfish cream sauce mixed with rotini pasta, a side of spiced corn and garlic bread, enough for lunch and a midnight snack. I also couldn't pass up the shrimp remoulade salad for my lunch the next day. The shrimp were seasoned, the romaine greens were fresh, and the remoulade dressing was a knockout.
