For a different twist on poboys, check this place out. They have a variety of nontraditional offerings, even a couple of vegetarian, which is tough to find in New Orleans. They also have different and interesting sides, like potato salad, and greens. It's a refreshing change from the standard poboy and fries, as much as I love those. I ordered the pork belly sandwich. For my taste it was a little too sweet, which I should've known from the description of the glaze. Even so, it was very tasty and a few drops of hot sauce helped a lot. I love the bread, which seemed different from the standard French loaf you get elsewhere. This roll is more like Bahn mi bread, with a nice crisp crust and a lighter airy interior. I really liked the greens, a nice touch of semi healthy, after all the super rich fried food I've been eating. The seasoning was nice and complicated. Again it was a little sweet for my taste, but again hot sauce helped a lot. This restaurant feels like some individual or group just had some good ideas and opened up a shop to do something a little different based in New Orleans cuisine. It's a great addition to the French Quarter. And the bathroom is really cool. But be gentle with the handle on the toilet.

A place that redefines the po'boy in the best possible way!! Such an incredible find in this little hole-in-the-wall spot. Note that their sandwiches are not the typical traditional poboys one may think of. The shrimp were cooked/seared perfectly--well-seasoned while still keeping that natural sweetness of fresh shrimp. The pickled veggies added great balance and even gave the sandwich a little bánh mì-like vibe! $14 for the sandwich. The setup inside is simple, nothing fancy, but that's exactly what makes it special. They offer a wide variety of offerings, including both meat and vegetarian options. Our server was warm and genuinely so kind! They didn't even give up an option to pay tips even though we were dining in. When we mentioned splitting a sandwich, he quietly brought over an additional tray without us even asking. Recently recommended by the Michelin Guide, and it absolutely makes sense. AND, we love that even with the recognition, it still stays true to what it is: a simple, authentic spot that puts every cent into the food!!

Once again Killer Po' boys KILLED it. My first meal in NOLA because I had this the last time I was there. Y'all. This po'boy is GOOD. So I'm VEGAN and always find some great food when I travel. It's EASY if you look. I found KPB back in 2022 and Y'ALL they still got it going on. To me you can make just about anything taste delicious if you know how to cook and properly season food. Well guess what they do. I'm sure ALL the po'boys are amazing but I can attest to the flavor of both the cauliflower, from this visit, and the sweet potato from my first visit. I love the flavors, the crispy bread and the hearty meal, packed with delicious veggies that it is!!! I ordered to go so I can't 100% attest to service, but when I picked up my order they were very friendly. Ambiance isn't much but it's not dirty and the food is great. I'm not there doe ambiance I want GOOD FOOD. And trust me, you won't be disappointed!!!

The food was absolutely amazing. We got the beef debris and the jerk chicken. It was sooo good. The restaurant was empty surprisingly and the service was really fast. The food was absolutely delicious and definitely worth going. 10/10 would go again.

Walking through the quarter looking for a good quick spot. Poboys on the brain. Stumbled on Killer Poboys located on Dauphine Street. Almost missed it. It's a little hole in the wall type of place. They have two locations. This is a small restaurant with a few tables inside. They do poboys with a bit of a twist. The gal at the counter was friendly and the food came out quick. We ordered two different poboys and shared. We tried the Pork belly poboy. The Pork belly poboy is pork belly in a Smoky brown sugar bbq sauce. It was so very good. The sauce was darn good and fit the pork belly perfectly. The shrimp poboy was nicely seasoned It has a spicy slaw of sorts with carrots that is to die for. Mind you when I say spicy I mean flavor filled not hot. From first bite to last so, So satisfying! The Bread is great! Holds up to toppings nicely. Not hard just a great package to hold the goodness inside. This place has vegetarian poboy options. Salads. And a twist. Casual, fast friendly service. I wish I lived close by. I think I'd be dropping in quite often.

From what I remember this was a solid sandwich, served at the exact right moment. I can be a prisoner of the moment and Killer Poboys turned a rough moment into a great and tasty memory! I drank too much, too fast, too early! It was crazy hot and I was loosing my bearings and about to loose the contents of my stomach. Luckily, I found my way here and had a wonderfully delicious roast beef po'boy at exactly the right time. I will definitely return to try more of the menu and show my gratitude for saving my night!!

This is the Killer Poboys location inside Erin Rose. Although the menu is slimmer than their full menu at their regular location, they have several fabulous options and you really can't beat pairing one of their po boys with the famous frozen Irish coffee at Erin Rose. We shared the braised beef debris po boy and the seared shrimp po boy and they were both excellent. Each one was truly unique, had fantastic toppings that perfectly complemented each one. Juicy, crunchy, sour, spicy, and of course the perfect squishy bread. Take me back! I want another...

Tasty Po Boy in the French quarter , we got the shrimp po boys. Sort of had a ban mi flavor to them. Bread was very lite, the carrot slaw was a little drippy. Get extra napkins PS it's in the back of the Erin Rose bar.

Best Po'boys! My sister and I were on a quest and scoured the internet for suggestions. We went to a couple places and they were good, but Killer Poboys was incredible. The pork belly was flavorful, tender, and melted in my mouth. The shrimp with its bahn mi'ish flavors was the best shrimp po'boy I've ever tasted. Their bread was so much better tasting too. We're going to try their newer location too, the one that isn't in the back of the Erin Rose bar (which played awesome music btw).

    * A lot of locals recommended this place to myself and my friends, so it's pretty popular * The Poboys are interesting with a Vietnamese influence. Overall, didn't compare to bahn mis or Vietnamese food coming from the Bay Area so I was a bit disappointed. I had wish I tried the sweet potato option instead of the tofu! My friend tried the shrimp one and the consensus was the same. * Service was fairly quick and it's on a busy street which is fun considering you don't have to go too far to explore * I'm glad I tried the restaurant but likely wouldn't crave or come back unfortunately.

Beef debris Poboy is awesome! Enjoy it at the bar at the Erin Rose. Combo that can't go wrong!

Only been here once, but I have heard about this place for over a decade and hadn't checked it out until I was in the quarter recently. I was excited to try it because I heard they had vegan/vegetarian Poboy options. I got their tofu Poboy, I don't remember what it was called. I think it was like a lemongrass, tofu flavor or something like that. But it was basically a tofu bahn mí, but it was delicious and incredible! The vegetables, the peanuts, the sauce, the bread, it all went together so well. Was it delicious Meal. Can't wait to come back!

If you're a Lover of Po-Boys, then you want to visit Killer PoBoys in NOLA. We stopped by after a10K step day and weren't disappointed. Bare bones spot but great food reasonably priced. We both had Shrimp Po-Boys with their famous pickled carrots served on warm hot dog bun. Potato salad was wonderful but a different taste. Partner had collard greens that she raved about. Highly recommend you stop by this lively joint!

Pork, beef and shrimp! All so good!!!!!

We ordered the black-eyed pea chili and the muffuletta, and the sandwich completely stole the show. The bread was perfectly soft, and you can really taste the difference in quality with their in-house meats. The olive salad tied the whole thing together, complementing the rich, savory flavors perfectly. That being said, the space gets extremely crowded on busy days. It's tight enough that you'll likely have people bumping into your chair or brushing past you while you eat and walk through the dining room. The biggest downside was the service at the counter. The line to the cashiers was very disorganized. Instead of calling the next person in line, one cashier was pulling people up at random, which made the ordering process frustrating. Overall, the food is fantastic, but be prepared for chaotic crowds and a messy ordering system during peak hours.

They have a handful of tables outside and more seating inside but it's not huge -- hence the longer lines. The wedge salad had too much salad dressing. I LOVE blue cheese and blue cheese salad dressing but the lettuce to dressing ratio was off. Could have used less as I felt so much went to waste. The thick cut bacon on the salad was the exact salty touch it needed and the fresh dill was such a fresh touch. The pickle cocktail was delicious! I wish I would have ordered another one!
