HASH HASH (D, S, E)
Bristol L.

I had a group lunch with my team delivered from Uber Eats from this restaurant. It was actually my first time trying it and they had a lot of healthy options. I opted for the hash hash. Which comes with braised beef, sweet potatoes, and feta cheese. Personally, it was a little too sweet for me. I'd prefer more of a savory flavor. My coworker, however really enjoyed the dish. I will say the portion sizes are very big. I was able to split mine between two people.

POKE TUNA (T, G, S, SE)

Healthy and affordable meals! I got the tuna poke and had to save the other half for another meal, because they're sizable portions. There's plenty of seating, and it was a very family-friendly place. I love how the takeout containers are within reach. Funny how they knew people would need them because of the size of their plates/bowls.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved the design of this building, such care was taken with the details.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was also super clean and orderly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The drawback for me was that the menu board's font was way too small.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]To be said, there are some printed menus in a little container of the wall but I didn't see that at first.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the Hash Hash, looking to try something new. I haven't had horseradish in awhile and it was a good reminder that less is more. I did love the braised beef and pickled onion-so delish! I would say that the service was just okay. Efficient but not very polite or welcoming.

Food Setup
Michael S.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Haven't been here in a while and I don't remember it being so dirty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All of the serving utensils are either half in the uncovered food or has leftover bits that are left out to get to room temperature, which is definitely how food borne pathogens are spread. Not only that, no one is using gloves so when they grab the food, they place the contaminated tongs back inside where the food is, again another vector of pathogen transmission. Might as well be using their hands. For a "health food" joint I find it to be quite ironic.

OMG Habanero Ginger. Mashers. Falafel. Kale Caesar.

One of the best restaurants I've passed through this past year. Everything is truly fantastic. If you favor spice, the ginger habanero salsa which they charge extra for is well worth it. It's $1, so it's almost free. It is freshly made with ample ginger daily. WOW! One ramekin of this spicy add-on is almost not enough. Some people might find themselves drinking it. Lolzsies. Kidding not kidding. Really remarkable and worth coming back for alone. Sorry for the fork on dish photo, I clearly got ahead of myself. Located at 9th and 9th or as I call the area, the nines. Vessel Kitchen is THE place to take your tastebuds..."to the nines"...as the old expression goes. :)

After spending days around Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming trying to find a healthy alternative to the fried foods and pizzas around, we finally came across Vessel Kitchen! The food was so delicious and was absolutely refreshing during our week of garbage dieting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was friendly, and the ambiance was beautiful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved the high ceilings, big windows, and bright interiors.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was clean and welcoming![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Utah Hash , Cucumber salad, Uncle Rico
Debbie L.

Was pleasantly surprised by the amazing menu. Great staff and service. The food....well.... YUM! we ordered the Uncle Rico, Utah Hash, and cucumber salad. Good portions and very tasty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Perfect location as it is a fantastic walking neighborhood.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I'm not a salad healthy eater, but this place has good healthy options, but the chicken protein, I just didn't like the taste. It had that strong chicken flavor.

We love the location on 9th but parking is limited. We had family in town and took them here, it was perfect. Great food and portions!

I was looking for a place to eat when I came across a photo of the famous tin can nachos. That…read morepicture alone convinced me I had to give them a try. I ordered the steak nachos. At $29 with the steak, they're definitely on the pricier side, but the portion size helps justify the cost. The serving is massive--I could easily see two or even three people sharing it as a meal. By the time I finished, it honestly looked like I had barely made a dent in it. The steak was incredibly tender and packed with flavor, and every bite was loaded with toppings. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. I stopped by during an off-peak time, so it wasn't very busy, which made for a relaxed experience. One thing that really stood out was their Guinness. As someone who appreciates a proper pour, I have to give them credit--they know exactly what they're doing. Too many places rush it, but here you can tell they take pride in serving it the right way. Their drink selection is also extensive. Whether you're a beer fan or looking to try a unique cocktail, there's no shortage of great options. I'd definitely come back, especially with a group to help tackle those nachos!

The food was good, we had the potato empanada and the wagyu skewers. Both were tasty and prepared well. There was live music that was really good and we enjoyed the people they had booked. There is a cool speak easy down stairs and a dance floor upstairs (we didn't see that). Overall, the place is really cool. I will concur that our minimal encounter with staff was less that stellar. Not sure why there were all the security guys mean mugging ayerone. Recommend this place for a drink and some grub.

My server was very kind and helped me take my order according to my dietary restrictions. The cheese/egg biscuit was my fave! Super soft, buttery biscuit with cheesy scrambled eggs, garnished with some scallions, which I really enjoyed as it added something a little extra. My limeade was refreshing and had what seemed like brown sugar at the bottom. It was already sweet enough without me needing to excessively stir it. Also got the loaded hash, without bacon. They were yummy! I really enjoyed the red quinoa/potato combo. Highly recommend if you're in the area, and looking for a yummy, cozy, filling meal. Parking was easy right out front.

On this particular morning, I was feeling really ill, but I didn't want to put a damper on our day, so I trudged along, motivated mostly by the word "limeade" (as limes are my favorite fruit), and ended up recovering enough to down a couple of the absolutely incredible breakfast tacos, as well as sucking down a massive habanero limeade, which somehow made me feel even better! No one left hungry or dissatisfied, and as mentioned, we even took an extra limeade with us on the road! I would come here just for another one myself, if it wasn't a 12 hour drive from home! Hell, it just might be worth it...?!

The dining room is beautiful…read moreand spacious, the cocktails were beautifully crafted, the waiter was friendly and attentive, and the pasta dishes were some of the best we've ever had. We easily made reservations and found street parking about a block away. We started with some delicious cocktails--the Lady Pleaser and Paper Plane--which were both delicious. We had the bread with whipped cheese and hot honey along with the grilled caesar salad and crudo for appetizers. They were all beautifully presented and delicious but the caesar blew us away and was one of our favorite bites of the night. We got a few more cocktails to enjoy with dinner--the Mezzin' Around and a gin, mint, and lime drink I forgot the name of. We enjoyed both of these as well. For entrees, I got the carbonara and my husband got the squid ink pasta with lobster. I've never seen more beautifully presented pasta dishes in my life. The flavor matched the beauty too--and the portions were good enough to take half home. My husband was incredibly happy with all the lobster in his pasta. We took a raspberry tiramisu home, which was also delicious. The bill came to $208 before tip, which matched the quality of the food and restaurant experience. I'm excited to come back and try other things as I believe the menu changes regularly.

I love that they take reservations here, even for small parties. The food is great, the type of place I'd like to revisit and try most of the menu. I particularly enjoyed the Wagyu bruschetta, tonight. Above all, the thing that stood out was the warmth of the people here and the service. Every interaction we had was friendly, positive, and helpful. Cameron was our waiter; he was extremely attentive, personable, and added a lot of joy to our evening. I can't wait to come back for more!
