I've lived here for almost two years, and this community seriously needs to hire a professional pest control company to treat the entire property, especially Building 2. Since moving in, I've constantly dealt with all kinds of bugs--millipedes, earwigs, green mosquitoes, and many others. This summer has been the worst. I'm actually afraid to open my windows, so I've had to keep them closed all the time. I've sealed my sliding door with weather stripping and done everything I can to keep bugs out, but they still find their way inside. I've had bugs fall from the air vents and even come in through the utility closet where the air filter is located. I also reported the pest issue to Julia who sit in the assistant manager's office back in May, but she told me it wasn't something the pest control company could control, which made me feel like management had no real solution and wasn't taking residents' concerns seriously. I completely understand why some residents choose to break their lease because they can't tolerate the bug problem anymore. I'm at that point myself. On top of the pest issue, there has also been mold in the bathroom. Update: Management replied to my previous review saying they scheduled pest control, and the pest control team came to our unit the other day. Unfortunately, I don't believe this addresses the actual problem. I have dealt with serious pest issues before in my previous home and have experience used products such as Alpine, Suspend SC, aerosol treatments for sinks, Delta Dust for electric outlets, and Demand G for baseboard, while also sealing every possible hole and entry point I could find. Yet we are still seeing insects frequently, including coming from the shower drain, light switches, and air vents. The treatment they appear to be using is mainly an IGR/baseboard-type application, which may kill insects after they come out and cross the treated area, but it does not prevent insects coming from light switches, vents, drains, or the actual source. I don't understand how management expects this to solve the problem when we are still seeing bugs almost every day. I also don't want to keep having chemicals sprayed inside the home we breathe in when the underlying issue remains unresolved. It is frustrating that management seems to think having insects inside an apartment is normal. It is not normal or acceptable to us, and we should not have to feel uncomfortable or even be afraid to open a window because more flying insects may come in. We asked to end our lease early because we simply don't want to continue living this way, but the quoted buyout is $6,812.5, and they were unwilling to waive or reduce any of it. They keep saying they are trying to help, but unfortunately, the solution being offered does not solve the problem we are actually experiencing. Home should be a place where you can relax and feel comfortable, not worry about bugs every day. If you really like this place, don't mind dealing with recurring insects, and are comfortable paying $6,812.5 to get out of your lease if things don't work out -- move here and give it a try! read more

Update: I just moved out of Vestra, and I'm honestly so sad to leave. This place truly felt like home. For what you pay, the value is insane -- not just because of how beautiful and well-designed everything is, but because of how safe and clean the entire property feels. I could walk out at night for ice cream and feel completely at ease. Christine and Julia lead with so much care and attention. They run a tight ship, and it shows in every corner of the building. I've never felt so heard, respected, and taken care of as a tenant. Vestra is something special. I'm truly grateful. read more

UPDATE: I go downstairs and guess who I see Mercedes, she is now a floater at the property she helped build. If they treat their own employees like this; makes you wonder. Hopefully they will bring Skylar back too. These girls were the backbone of this ever changing environment of inconsistencies. A new property manager has recently taken over, leading to significant staffing changes: Mercedes and Skylar were dismissed, while Julia remains--quite unexpected. Given the current high rental rates and numerous vacant units, it's anticipated that this property will be sold soon-Allegedly. Unfortunately, regardless of personnel changes, the underlying issues persist, stemming from the culture of SRG, the management company. Additionally, I was denied the move-in concession for movers due to excessive scrutiny of my receipt (RWB)= "Receipt while Black", unlike others--raising questions about the inconsistency. While the property is visually appealing, the management's deceptive practices and erratic policies make living here challenging for some residents. It's disheartening that, although the maintenance team excels and we once had dedicated leasing agents who ensured resident satisfaction, that's no longer the case. Therefore, I cannot recommend moving here. read more

This place is a nightmare! Living hell and a full time job dealing with all the issues this place has. I've been here about a month. On multiple occasions I have been restricted access into my apartment for hours on end. They'll give you an "emergency number" which is not at all connected to Vestra or the management company itself. One of which times my electric key to get into the apartment died and I wasn't able to get access into my apartment for a few hours. I ended up having to miss work that day. I lost my key and the office was closed. Called emergency number Vestra provided - they said they have no way to get ahold of Vestra so I sat in the lobby for 6 hours. Julia sent me a very stern email that I was late for rent a few days after I moved in and she is taking legal action and pentalizing. I moved in from out of state and don't have a bank in the area. I didn't think I should have had rent due yet as I'd just moved in. It took days of trying to open a bank in the area and transfer money around because they said I could only pay my rent with certified funds. Jessica emailed me that I don't owe any rent. No apology or anything. My refrigerator and freezer broke right after I moved in. I don't have a car yet but I had a rental which I took to buy a bunch of groceries. Maintenance couldn't get to it within 24 hours so all my food went bad. The entrances to get into the building - specifically the key pads - never work. You have to go around and check doors to see which will let you in. I was never told packages cost $3 every day they're stored in the lockers. I went on vacation when I had first moved in around when I was getting a bunch of packages. Ended up spending a good chunk of money on package storage. Packages go missing all the time. I wasn't able to pay my rent on time as management never let me know it takes up to a week to verify your bank account on the app to be able to pay rent. The app also did not work to be able to pay the rent. You can't get uber eats as there are like 3 buildings and uber drivers either can't figure out how to get into or the codes don't work. My fire alarm goes off if I preheat my oven anything past 300 degrees. They advertise deals with other businesses in the community and when you go these business do not offer the discounts. WiFi is really spotty and it's probably not going to work when you first move in. Everyone I've heard of has issues very often. Every times I'm in the office it seems to be flooded with people complaining. Management is rude / incompetent. read more

I've been living here for about two months and I absolutely love it so far! The staff is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help with anything you need. From the moment I moved in they made the whole experience feel easy and positive. The location is amazing, being able to walk to everything at The Uncommons is such a huge perk and makes living here even more enjoyable. I've had a couple of minor appliance issues since moving in, but the maintenance team has been outstanding. They respond quickly, are very kind, and fix everything almost immediately. It's really reassuring knowing that things are handled so efficiently. Overall I've had a great experience living here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to live! read more

This place has gone down hill in a hurry . People are paying over 4000 a month for a two bedroom , but have to live in hell as management and staff do absolutely nothing to maintain a noise free and clean community. First and foremost we have been woken up in the middle of the night 4x in 3 months at 3 or 4am , with the loudest building fire alarm you have ever heard. This goes on sometimes for 10-15 minutes . All residents have to evacuate to the street even mothers with new borns and low and behold there is no fire, just a malfunctioning unit and maintenance taking over 15 minutes at times to shut down the heart attack and mind numbing noise. If your not woken up by extreme fire alarm noise , the staff allows construction work To begin excavating , jackhammering and or nail gunning at 500-530 am when the law states they cannot start until 6 in summer and 7 the rest of the year. Management states they will take care of it but never do anything and the noise continues . On top of that the pools are filthy and never cleaned except maybe once every two weeks which is a safety issue. The pools are full of debris the majority of the time making it impossible to swim . The carpets in the buildings are only vacuumed and cleaned once a year if that even though they allow dogs to roam freely . You constantly have to walk by shit and urine stains on the way to your unit everyday . They allow residents to not put trash in the trash shoot as some residents are as lazy as the staff here at vestra and can't walk an extra 3 steps to open the trash shoot door and place there trash in . No they leave it inside the trash door , letting trash stench radiate down the hallways in the summer time like I just moved next door to a landfill . Or they leave it outside there door for valet trash from 8am even though the regulations are to only leave it outside your door an hour prior to pick up which is at 6pm!!! 4000/month gets you all this . I've never had these issues at any other so called luxury condos and I wasn't paying 4000/month either !!! This is unacceptable and I understand why there is a high turnover and residents do not renew there lease. The location is optimal and being in the uncommons is great but not worth the nightmare at vestra that I have to pay 4000/month. These are easy fixes but the management and maintenance do absolutely nothing to resolve any of these issues in almost 2 years. There will not be a renewal or 3rd year. read more

I toured Vestra at the beginning of the year and immediately fell in love with the community and the service. Tyler was the leasing agent who showed me around, and he's honestly the main reason I decided to make Vestra my new home. From day one, he walked me through every step with such kindness and professionalism. He was always responsive, super friendly, and made me feel so comfortable throughout the process and he continues to be that way even after I moved in. Since moving in a few months ago, my experience has been nothing short of wonderful. The location is perfect--everything I need is nearby, and the restaurants downstairs are fantastic. My neighbors are also very friendly, and I've made some great new friends during the summer at the pool, which really made this place feel like home. The fitness center is also a huge plus. It's top notch and a big part of why I love living here, since staying active is so important to me. Tyler continues to be just as helpful and attentive as he was from day one. Five stars all the way for both him and Vestra! I couldn't be happier living here. read more

Considering a job offer in the Vegas area so wanted to check out potential living situations. Vestra made my short list based on some great photos of the amenities, quick freeway access, and walkability to bars and restaurants away from the chaos of the strip. I scheduled a tour for last Friday. When I got there, I was pleasantly greeted by Sophia, and Julia walked me around the property showing me some models and the amenities. I didn't realize that a new casino, Durango, is parked across the street, so that was an added bonus. This property is beautiful but at the top of my budget, so it may not be a fit. If I can squeeze out a few more pennies, I like the idea of calling this place home. read more

Julia is horrible. She was incredibly rude to us. We were curious about looking at the 2 and 3 bedroom apartments however we have chosen to look into other apartments because of Julia's rude behavior towards us. She was very friendly to some of the other women asking about apartments but was unhelpful and mean to us (I originally thought it was because we are young however looking at the reviews here, it seems many people have had issues with her, even residents.) She didnt even explain the options to us, just said we could come check out the one bedroom apartment tomorrow, I asked about seeing the 2 and 3 bedroom apts and she acted incredibly surprised we could afford them. After waiting for a month for an answer... I finally was told that "they processed the check" yesterday. The communication at this place is unbelievably slow. They all give you a different answer, calling the office is an Olympic sport, Marcos answered today and was some what helpful probably because he doesn't "work at that property " according to him. You would think by the way they advertise this place that it would be more professional. I suggest looking elsewhere. Just toured this place and OMG this place is amazing and beautiful. One of the few places possibly the only new apartment complexes that have tub and shower separate. Skyler was not only knowledgeable but super friendly and outgoing. Great energy I had fun on my tour. I came in gave an idea of what I wanted and she pinpointed an apartment perfect for me. They have soooo many floor plans. Definitely come check this place out. They have a doggie spa for dog lovers. read more

"Vestra Is The Bestra." Let's start with a few disclaimers. #1. Not your typical human. I'm actually a bit misanthropic, so I have *zero* interest in meeting new ppl or needing a sense community, but am genuinely grateful when I encounter someone I find to be truly good. Basically, if I'm meeting you for the first time, you are neutral-to-bad to me (and most certainly a time suck / possible obstacle), until proven otherwise. But anywayz (haha). I'm introverted. INTJ. But I can be *absolutely* charismatic and outgoing (being introverted and shy are NOT the same thing). COVID/Quarantine was an utterly MAGICAL time for me (the effing BEST in NYC, omg). I lived in Manhattan between 2015 and 2023 and loved it. Why? Exclusive bldg. Concierge (doorman). No big pets allowed. My life goal is to live in an ivory tower where I get to interact with ONLY who I want to, WHEN I want to. That said, just got engaged and my fiance while also an introvert, DOES need a sense of community, and moving here (away from the strip) was a compromise. And btw... living in a busy place means less nosy ppl. It's counterintuitive, but true. #2. I gave this five stars, but this does not mean my experience has been perfect. But it has been an upgrade from where I used to live, which was on the strip (Veer Towers), which is probably the closest thing to Manhattan living in Vegas. Now... on to my review. After reading the rest of the reviews on here I've been struck by how extreme they've been. Either glowing, or extremely negative. A lot of names were dropped in those reviews too. That said, we've only really worked with Denise, who has absolutely made us feel taken care of, from the very moment we met her, which was a Friday night, after the office was closing, and she apologetically (and sincerely) let us know that they weren't doing any more showings and asked us to come back tomorrow, which we did. After having seen many other places outside the strip, we knew Vestra was the place to be. The UnCommons being right on campus with it (and yes, to me this place feels like a college campus ... albeit a nice one like UC Santa Barbara where I went), was a huge selling point. As far as ppl complaining about the prices, I'll just say this: we're paying less for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath here than my fiance paid herself for a 1 bedroom in California. And less than $1K more than I paid for a studio at Veer Towers. And THAT place gave me more value than my Manhattan studio (same price), so basically now you know you're reading the review of someone who is able to spend a little bit more for value. Not a baller by any means. But at the same time, I think the pricing here is pretty reasonable for what you're getting. Now, onto the not so perfect things. Do I think this place was built rather hastily? Yes. For one thing, the primary bathroom lighting needed fixing, but Ruben (who has been mentioned in other reviews) selflessly helped and repaired it quickly. The other not-so-perfect thing is the internet experience has been the worst I've ever experienced EVER, and it has caused me a lot of anguish and stress since I work remotely. And work is #1 for me because without work, you can't afford things. Period. But this is where Denise B. comes in. When I had an important work call coming up, and my internet had crapped out completely, as a brand new tenant, I showed up in the lobby and asked her how to book a computer room, but admittedly did so with panicked energy. And she felt that panicked energy (empathically), and even though she was helping someone else, she politely asked them to hold on (sensing my emergency) and took my phone, booked the room for me (on my app), and I just felt that she truly, genuinely cared. I was struck by that. And this is where I sing Denise's praises. While most staff kind of give off an indifferent vibe (that's in ANY bldg), I don't think Denise is capable of indifference. I can tell she's been brought in to clean up whatever went wrong before we arrived. And while it's taken about a month to fix the internet, fingers crossed that debacle is over. I could write more, but Yelp is cutting me off... so I'll just say there is definitely more of a community vibe here than Veer will ever have, and there's an aspirational vibe here too. The pool area feels like a resort. Everyone's pretty good looking, and fitness oriented. So in closing, imo you get out what you put in from life, and this place *can* work for you if you invest in making that happen. Shout out to Tyler at the front desk as well. And pick up your packages (yes, Amazon can deliver to the wrong bldg, be careful), be willing to meet with your food delivery ppl, and control your controllables. I'll also say the phone app doesn't always open the main doors, but that's where key codes come in. I'm only 2 months in. I'll revise as necessary. But I see us staying here for at least 1-2 years. This is a really neat community with so many restaurants within walking distance. Plus lots of monthly events and a weekly farmers market. Love that I can have my dogs and there is a full dog park area and a pet spa! read more

Pros and cons. Mostly cons at this point sadly. Pros - Beautiful complex with several great restaurants and boba etc. - Reasonable finishes in the units (at least no carpet) - Maintenance responds quickly and is effective at cleaning up messes left by construction (Victor and Ruben are both very nice and competent, David was great but left the company) - Convenient area of town by IKEA, chipotle, and easy access to 215 Cons - Lots of errors made with rushed construction - water damage, buckled floor tiles, dangerous shelf in tubs that could decapitate someone who stands up too quickly - The leasing office staff struggles to deal with issues brought by residents and seems to attack us verbally and get defensive any time we ask for help with anything like receiving packages - Receiving packages is a constant struggle - Commercial tenants are first class citizens here, residential tenants are an afterthought at best and often blatantly disregarded read more

This place is absolutely amazing. The amenities are top notch. The staff is so kind and always willing to help. They always greet you with a smile. They have a full coffee bar behind the front desk and are so welcoming every time we come in to grab our favorite cold brew. The staff is always so kind to our animals and us as we walk through, they even have treats!Anytime we have a need, they are communicative and we appreciate the communication and service they provide. We had a small issue with our move-in money and Julia was extremely helpful to help us get it corrected quickly. They've had some turnover with staff, but they seem to have a good handle on bringing in the right people who can care for the residence and keep the property extremely clean. Vestra is overpriced for the low quality construction of the units. You hear everything from the other units and the hallways. The doors to the outside breezeways don't have latches so they constantly bang open during the wind which is very frequent, keeping you up all night. We've had ppl try to enter our unit by using the electronic keypad. Cheap construction. Thin walls. Damaged floors on a brand new apartment and just cheap work. None of the drawers function properly and we were told by maintenance they all are like that. They cut corners. Instead of being accommodating to tenants who are paying top prices for Vegas, management hits back, trying to vilify tenants while not fixing the problems. I have heard many many other tenants complain and Vestra does nothing. There is terrible noise issues and I have to sleep with ear plugs. Skyler was great and made a lot of promises but with the low occupancy it looks like they forced her out and brought in new management. We were told one thing to get us to move in and sign the lease, but then they change their tune once you get in. Too many issues to list here. Just know management does not care about you, the construction quality is very poor, the prices are very high for Vegas and they won't do anything to remedy it when you have issues or complaints. read more

15 month update: There has been a change in leadership and it was not a good one. Communication is terrible, fire alarm issues, vendors knocking on my windows while we're sleeping scaring my partner. Christine called me to ask if I was going to renew my lease. I had a long list of issues/complaints that I wanted to be addressed before making a decision and she told me she would get back to me in a week with answers. Obviously that never happened so I have decided to not renew which is unfortunate because I did want to stay here but... with the way things are being run here I can't do it. The maintenance team here is top freaking notch and I praise them for always being professional and still quick to respond to my requests. I wish I could say the same about the office team. Skylar no longer works here and she was a big part of my experience. Heard she was let go. It's sad to see a property that I once loved go down the drain. If the owner is reading this, I think it may be time for another management change because these folks can't seem to get things right. read more

My son and I absolutely love this place. I wish I could call this home for a very long time. Every part of the process: viewing, move in, to daily to luxury living has been six star. The team removes a lot of friction from every process. This place is modern with app-living for security, home monitoring, energy management, and and even online payments. The gym is outstanding! The pool is a resort. The staff is always super friendly and incredibly helpful. If you're thinking about living here, I would make it top of your list. It's a really nice modern place but the price is a little steep and with that comes with broken things in brand new apartments, parking security that doesn't enforce any action on vehicles parked in your paid assigned spot, the office staff is difficult to contact. Be wary of leasing here read more
