I lived here when it first was built and after the first year it went downhill fast. The property management does not respond to emails in a timely manner, does not pay attention to detail and will charge you for just about anything and everything since there is a shortage of tenants. I requested to move out and the property management tried to send me a renewal document thinking I wouldn't read what I was signing. I've been really disappointed with this apartment complex. The property manager seems inattentive, and the overall cleanliness is lacking. The hallways regularly smell like dog urine, and the coffee station is either broken, missing cups, or not restocked. Security is almost never present, the gate stays broken for weeks at a time, and there have been multiple break-ins from homeless individuals. The only positive features are the gym and the pool, which are well maintained. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend living here. read more

I absolutely love Ely by Eliysian apartments, so pretty, smells so goooood throughout the hallways. So peaceful here. I feel safe. They have so many ways they take care of you here. They are always in communication with the residents, they have a lost and found, full of activities to meet your neighbors. The neighbors look out for each other. They have a valet trash pick up. Yas!!! Maintenance workers are also Amazing. Leasing offices ladies (ALL OF THEM) are always welling to help with your needs. There's coffee, and tea. OMG! I can go on and on. Great! I use to love living here but then they started over changing me and excused me of being a week late on my 60 day notice to move out. So they're charging me and extra week after I told them way over 60 days before my lease end date that I was moving out. They also lowered rent for my room by almost $300 but left it the same for me if I would have stayed. Homeless people will use to pool to clean themselves and also use the bathroom in it. Peoples cars are always getting broken into and the gates here never work. Just anyone is able to get inside cause the gates won't close and stay open. Homeless people camp out all around the property. Waste of money and not a safe place to live. read more

Trying to move in as soon as possible but the lady who works at the leasing office made me decide immediately not to move in here. Someone tell me if this is her first job because she acts like she doesn't want to be there and was not willing to help us. Also her attitude is nasty. I don't write reviews but the fact I need to write this says a lot about how terrible this employee is. One word answers. I had to ask follow up questions to her one word answers. Some awkward silence bc she only gives one word and stares at us blankly. Gave a (I don't want to do this) look when I asked if she can give me a tour of one of the apt. The fact I had to ask her to give me a tour cuz she was staring at us blankly like she doesn't know why we were there in the first place. Actually I was here yesterday but she said she couldn't help us because there was an event going on. So I made an appointment for today and this is what I had to deal with. Isn't it her job to help us? Her attitude made me not want to even look at the apt. Just told her I don't want to do a tour and left. Apartment looks great and I really wanted to see the apartments inside but forget about it. Very disrespectful and condescending attitude. Wish I got her name. For the insanely high price of these apartments, it's a pretty disgusting property. There is nothing luxurious about these apartments anymore. Not only is it gross, but it is extremely unsanitary and unsafe. There could be infectious diseases in all of the mess that is left around here. Management seems to just let anybody move here now. People will let their dogs poop IN THE HALLWAYS on the carpet and in the doorways. The complex smells like urine and feces & then when you get inside of the building, it smells like weed and cigarettes all the time. Nobody cleans up after themselves. Somebody brought a shopping cart here and left it in the Stairwell??? You're not supposed to put your trash in the hallway until after 7 PM and people will leave their trash out all day long making the hallway smell like poopy diapers, and rotten garbage. People make absolutely disgusting messes here and then expect the poor maintenance crew to clean it up. The walls here are extremely thin. Quiet time starts at 10 PM until 8 AM Yeah, nobody respects that. There were three men using the grill right outside of my window on a weekday at one in the morning, screaming and laughing. I had to call Security and nobody did anything about it. I couldn't sleep and I had to work later that morning. My neighbors will blast music from any hour, especially between five and eight in the morning. Management asked me for a video proof of how loud my neighbors were after numerous complaints. I have a video and it's very loud and clear and they still did nothing. My apartment smells like weed all of the time because even though this is a "non-smoking community", somebody smokes in their unit and it comes through my air vents. Management doesn't even respond to your emails. There is a group of children that constantly run up and down the hallway screaming & they are unsupervised. Setting my camera off every two seconds. I can also hear children screaming from inside of their unit From all the way down the other side of the hallway, these children scream so loud I can also hear it from outside of the building. Several tenants have complained about this and management does nothing. People are literally taking everything from the complementary coffee and tea bar to stock up their own kitchen.. It's always empty now, and I have seen people literally shoving all of the creamers and teabags into their purses. There is always food and drinks spilled all over the stairwells & in the clubhouse. This property seemed very secure when I moved in, However, there have been people who are not residents here, sneaking in and roaming the hallways harassing residents. I watched somebody back their car into another tenants parked car & then drive off. I reported it to management and they did nothing. Management here will never do anything. All of the women who worked here when I moved in were Amazing. Since I have been here, all of them have left.. so whoever is running the Apartments now definitely does not care about residents or the property. It seems that they are just letting anybody move here now to make commission... I will definitely be moving, I do not like it here at all. Ely Fort Apache is VERY very gross & it is not peaceful at all. Save your money & look elsewhere. I gave two stars instead of one because the one thing I do appreciate is the maintenance crew. It is unfortunate that they are treated the way they do. They are amazing and very kind, but it is not their responsibility to clean up after people's disgusting laziness read more

DO NOT RENT from any Ely / Cushwake management properties in any state.This management company is strictly by the book when it comes to timely payments. They do not accept any forms of partial payments in regards to the rent. This management company will see you homeless before they accept a partial payment for your rent. I stayed in a one bedroom apartment that cost $1,600 per month. I fell behind on my rent in November 2023, received a 7 day notice November 5, 2023 in the amount of $1,600. I only had $1,000 to give due to funeral expenses of a loved one and the management company wasn't willing to accept the payment. December 2023 arrived and the current balance came to a total of $3,200 (not including the $85 for each 7 day notice fee and the eviction filing fees with the Clark county court). I received another 7 day notice for the month of December 2023 on the 7th of December and the following week I was served a notice in the mail as well as a notice taped to my door to appear in court December 27, 2023. I went to court on the 27th of December and explained to the judge my circumstance and how I tried to make a payment arrangement / agreement with Ely /Cushwake for an amount of $1,000 and $500 bi-weekly until the balance was paid in full. The judge asked Ely/Cushwake properties legal representation if they would be willing to discuss the arrangement and the legal representation happily declined. The judge ordered the eviction / lockout and on January 3, 2024 I was locked out. Considering at that moment I was now homeless and this management company was determined to see me on the street regardless of a good faith payment I was trying to make just to keep a roof over my head until I could get up on my feet. Standing in front of the apartments while it hailed, looking like the bag lady, and waiting on an Uber was such a painful moment for me. I cried and questioned where the humanity had gone in this world. Life happens to us all at some point. You're able to pay a rent or a mortgage for some time and then some form of tragedy occurs and you're put in a predicament that you truly couldn't avoid. This management company makes billions of dollars per year and my debt with them wouldn't affect them at all. However, to prove a point, they are willing to see me and anyone else for that matter homeless all because they don't want to accept partial payments towards rent. I could completely understand if it were $100 towards a $1,600 debt but I offered to pay $1,000 and work on repaying the remaining balance and they still declined. I stayed in a motel the first week of the lock out, and the second week I was on the streets because the funds ran out. I was given until February 7, 2024 to get all my furniture out of the apartment which I was unable to do because being homeless where would I put all of it. The weekly won't rent to me because I have a recent eviction now. I was trying to sell my furniture and TV for money, However the management wasn't willing to allow me access twice into the apartment. The management allowed me Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm one day only. My buyers were only able to come get the furniture on the weekends so I was really bummed. Please avoid renting from these people. you will thank me later. read more

These apartments have a sewage issue. The apartments and hallways smell like a sewer. I had to request to maintenance several times about the smell. They eventually told me a I had to put a cap on my drainage to slightly remove the smell. The residents tend to leave their trash outside of the apartments for hours. It causes the hallways to smell and have unwanted insects like roaches. The dumpsters are usually overfilled and not always collected by waste management daily. The pool is closed often and they deny access to open the gate. They don't sanitize the pool area or seats daily. There's usually remaining trash or stains on or around the seats/cabana. read more

My AC vent and washing machine stopped working during two separate events and the staff from maintenance came immediately to fix and replace the units in a speedy manner. Staff is always so friendly, helpful, and always quick to help at Ely at Fort Apache. read more

My car was stolen within the first 3months of living here management had no cameras no security and just didn't help at all!!! Homeless people wonder around all day long trash stay full and dirty!!! Hallways always stink because people leave all types of trash waiting on valet. If you looking for a luxury apartment this is not it it has great amenities and etc but it's not worth the hassle of the environment. + tub water pressure sucks take 40mins to have enough water for a bath.
