She brought along Tyler to meet my fur babies and the cats immediately took to him, which was odd since my cats usually don't like anyone. Tomiko has taken care of our cat Chewie multiple times and we can go on trips knowing he's in capable loving hands. The first 2 trips we had to go on, our cat had lots of internal problems that needed to be monitored by someone that knew what they were doing (had a skin infection as well as oral medication which was a lot to make sure he got everything and our EXACT guidelines were followed to the T) and Tomiko had zero issues. We wanted him to be at home where he was comfortable (tried boarding him once and it was not a great experience) and felt safe giving our key to Tomiko and knowing our house would be secured and Chewie safe. The good part is in spite of the overcrowded cat situation, they came every day and cleaned the litter boxes, put out food and water. They said they would do the scoop method with my clumping litter. They didn't! They threw out hundreds of pounds of clean litter because they used the dump the litter box method rather than scoop clumps. In a week and a half that amounted to a 50 gallon trash can full of litter! That normally would have me using seven small shopping bags only. When I got back I was able to get 120 lb of clean litter out of that bin! They charged by the hour. If you have any service people entering your home when you are not there, I recommend you have an electronic doorlock and/or doorbell camera and/or interior cameras to verify they're coming and goings. read more
