I sent texts and never received a response. I even tried booking online, but the system wasn't working. On Monday morning, after explaining that I had been trying to reach someone for days, I finally got a response and was given a 12:45 PM appointment. I arrived at 12:30 PM. I was told they were running about 30 minutes behind. However, it is now 3:12 and we still have not been seen. This is completely unacceptable. This clinic came highly recommended by friends for both the care and affordable prices, which is why I decided to try it. Unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed and will not be returning. If it weren't for the fact that my baby has an issue with his paw, I would have left hours ago. On top of the excessive wait time, the facility is not clean. Pee and poop in the waiting area, people just cover it with a paper towel. My pet has always been seen at Middletown Animal Clinic, and the only reason I came here was because their prices have increased and, again, this place was recommended to me. After this experience, I can confidently say the prices are not significantly different--and the service and cleanliness do not compare. While the vet was nice, the aggravation of waiting almost 3 hours was not worth it. Never again.

The (DVM) who saw us today was DR Sean Soliman He asked a lot of questions and took the time explaining all my options, as well as him taking the time to understand my financial situation. I feel he did try his best to help me as much as possible with keeping my bill as low as we could and not run a bunch of unnecessary test. My baby needs a x-ray an i can not afford it right now so i settled for (PLAN B- pain management) in hopes i can get a appointment with the aspca or humane society as soon as possible. Although I am a physician I am not familiar with this procedure in canines, but apparently open incisions are used to cut into the bladder for stone removal. My. Baby girl was discharged in howling pain, which was traumatic for my sister who had retrieved her. She had to return her to demand appropriate pain management for the dog as she was only given gabapentin and Rimadyl (doggie Advil). Even women who have cesarean sections are given strong analgesia for at least 3 days postoperatively. My baby suffered for days. I called the office the following day to get information regarding her diet going forward, as bladder stones can definitely recur. Not only was I not given any information, but I was merely switched to another person who just asked for my financials to make payment for the "extra (much needed) meds." I was given a generic receipt, so my insurance denied the payment, and I was NEVER given the invoice for the surgery, which was almost 3k and paid in full up front. I sent an email requesting the invoice, and to date they refused to respond, so I will not be able to submit for the reimbursement. When my son called the office he was told that they "didn't know" about the insurance- even though it is on file. Although they claim they will submit, I don't have much faith that they will. Further, why was this not handled from the beginning before they tortured my baby? If a human patient is treated this way there are patient advocates & lawyers promptly involved. I guess things are different in Veterinary Medicine.... But animals deserve compassionate care, too. Some people love their pets more than their spouses. In addition, pet parents should be counseled regarding the operative course, what to expect, and how to manage their pets post-operatively at home. My family, and especially my dog, were traumatized by this experience. This vet got good reviews on Yelp for some reason; maybe they are acceptable for routine well care visits and minor illnesses. But if you have a pet with serious illness or require invasive or surgical intervention I encourage you to seek another Veterinary practice.

Unfortunately, my experience with the office staff and medication management was much different. Messages often went unanswered, prescription approvals took days, and this happened more than once. Despite ordering my dog's heart medication before he ran out, I ended up having to purchase additional pills out of pocket from the office to avoid a lapse in medication while waiting for approvals. For routine medications, especially those that are critical, communication and timely processing are just as important as the medical care itself. I hope the practice improves this aspect of their service.

For any and everything I need for here, Dr. Schwartzreich and his team have been amazing. This season is the first time she's every been sick, and Rosie had a terrible sounding cough. Her cough started right after bringing her home from a quick tech visit that same morning. I gave NRAH a call, and they asked "How fast can you get here?" No hesitation whatsoever! My pup is fine, always anxious when she's at the vet haha but that's how I feel when I have to go to the doctor so that's normal. Hopefully I won't have to come back until her next check up. They are amazing on every level--professional, compassionate, and truly dedicated to their patients. Bear is there often due to his allergies, and every single time he goes, he's excited to see everyone. They treat him like one of their own, and that level of care means the world to me. I was asked to bring my dog in, we weren't placed in an exam room and my dog was checked in the waiting area in front of other animal owners waiting to be seen. I informed them my dog had a bad ear infection that smelled really bad and I wanted to get him checked, Morris Park Animal Hospital said they could not see my dog anymore due to me threatening them with a lawyer.
