Thank you for saving my baby and dealing with my panic. Athena says thanks as well. Everyone was so kind and helpful.

    My cat who was euthanized

Absolutely stellar service, extremely kind, caring, and compassionate staff and vets. Will be using them from now on. Caring staff, and professional care for my animal, and reasonable pricing, prompt and courteous service. Best vet clinic in area, and I've been to a lot in Redlands and Loma Linda. Top Tier. pet service and support.

This office is very expensive. Their liets. Told me my 5 week old pup was gonna die. More and more money. The said she had broken ribs and a punctured lung. I brought my pup home and is playing eating and does not hurt to the touch. They are selfish. I think somebody the the first nurse I saw. Wanted to keep her. They lie. Terrible. My uncle is a big animal vet. And there was nothing wrong with Tubby my puppy. Worst place ever. Do not go there ever. Use the human society Amy Valentine. Not even a 1. They are terrible. 1 star.

Today my family had to say goodbye to our baby, June and our hearts are completely broken. This was the hardest day of our lives but we will forever be grateful to the incredible team at the Veterinary Emergency Center of Redlands for the compassion, patience and kindness they showed our family. They treated June with so much gentleness and dignity and never once rushed us. They explained everything with care and gave us the time we needed to hold her and say goodbye properly. They helped her pass peacefully, and that meant everything to us. We are especially thankful for the beautiful memorial gifts they gave us, a small bottle with June's hair for my son to keep forever and a box with her paw print and nose print. Those gifts mean more to our family than words can explain and brought us comfort in the middle of unbearable pain. Thank you for taking such loving care of our sweet girl and for supporting our family when we were at our lowest. We will always be grateful

My dog had a portion of her ear bit off by another dog. When we arrived I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and the layout of the waiting room. Despite them being very busy, our wait was not too long. I noticed there were lots of rooms. Dogs and cats were separated. The vet (I don't remember her name). was very thorough in explaining what my dog needs. Which was surgery, repair and stitches. They told us it would take 3.5 hours. It was shorter than that. They did a wonderful job on repairing the ear. We were pleased with the service and the veterinarian.

Closest Emergency Vet to Coachella Valley. Cat hadn't eaten for a few days. We drove out on a Sunday morning and waited hours to have him looked at. They had a list of tests they wanted to do, but at that point we wanted to turn it all over to our Regular Vet on Monday. Guess I'm burying the lede here. This place is top notch. They were friendly, professional and, ultimately, very reassuring. Glad to know they are there if we need them.

I had a great experience. The staff was so welcoming and the vets are so honest with options. This is my 3rd visit and worth the drive from riverside. My puppy is feeling much better

Scam Alert!!! We will NEVER go back to the Vetenary Emergency Hospital!!!! Our normal vet was closing soon and we thought this was an emergency situation, so we took our 3 month old puppy, Tater to the closest place, Veterinary Emergency Center of Redlands. We will not make that mistake again! Around 6:30pm, our puppy was having difficulty breathing. He appeared lifeless and then defecated, while laying on his side. We didn't know if he had been bitten by a rattlesnake or ingested something or....but he looked near death. In a panic, we rushed him to the Veterinary Emergency Center of Redlands (next to Burlington retail store in Redlands). Never again!!! Upon arrival, they took our pup back behind closed doors. We had to stay in the waiting room. We were initially charged $160 then they came back and asked for another $400 deposit almost immediately. We still had no idea what was wrong with him, figured it must be serious, so we paid more. When we asked questions, we were told the vet would be out soon to speak with us, but that the additional money was required. After having Tater behind closed doors for 1.5 hours, the vet finally came out (without Tater) and showed us a bee stinger. She recommended IV hydration, overnight hospitalization and other medications. She told us that Tater was anemic and most likely had parasite infestation. We asked the vet what treatments she given Tater for the bee sting? Antihistamines? Steroids? She said nothing, no treatments yet, but she had run a few blood tests for Parvo, Blood Protein and EPOC. Wait, what??? So they had Tater for almost 2 hours and had not treated him! If he required overnight hospitalization, IV fluids and medications, then why haven't didn't they started any treatment? At this point, we had not seen our puppy since our arrival, they kept him behind closed doors, which greatly limited us from fully assessing the situation. The whole thing felt weird. Without any treatment yet, our bill was over $400 already just for the initial exam and a couple of (unapproved) blood tests. But more importantly, if they removed a bee stinger, then why were they just racking up charges by running random blood tests, instead of giving him emergency treatment!?!? They already had our $560 deposit so why weren't they giving him IV fluids, anti-histamines, steroids or something? Especially since the vet said Tater had experienced anaphylactic shock. But still no treatment at all. We felt helpless. Feeling completely irked and hijacked, we immediately declined the overnight hospitalization and IV hydration. Then after waiting, waiting and waiting , a financial coordinator was sent out to discuss an OUTPATIENT care plan with us, which totaled $1001. Now we are approaching 2.5 hours and no treatment. We asked them to give Tater an anti-histamine and steroid shot, so we could take him home. The Veterinary Emergency Center of Redlands spent more time, with up charges and calculating financial expenses rather than actually providing emergency care to our puppy. The is unlike any other pet care place we have ever visited. It was our experience that they unethically take it advantage of people and their pets in emergency situations. Unfortunately, we did not see the 1 star, 2 star and 3 star ratings of the Veterinary Emergency Center of Redlands until our puppy was already admitted. We realize that having and caring for a pet is really expensive, but this was sub-par care for our little guy. Thankfully Tater is doing much better today and we are planning on following up with our regular vet this weekend. Do yourself a favor and research now. Find an animal hospital that has high ratings and is open after hours. Put that contact number in your phone, so if you find yourself in a pet emergency situation, you already have a plan of action. We foolishly did not. We just want to share our experience, to hopefully help others AVOID a similar experience at the Veterinary Emergency Center of Redlands.

I don't understand these bad reviews, I just had my baby treated for a nasty rattlesnake bite, they took her in immediately for treatment, she was kept overnight and I was constantly updated on her progress via text and phone calls. The staff were absolutely amazing, so lovely and caring. And the facility is spotless, cleaner than a human hospital. Thankfully my Fern is in full recovery and I cannot thank the Staff at Redlands enough.

Lack of communication caused a beautiful dog's death. It was unnecessary and very sad. I do not recommend this hospital.

We had to put our beLOVEd cat to sleep yesterday. Since it was an emergency hospital, we couldn't just show up at the appointment time but wait about 90 minutes, which was hard but I understand other pets had emergency situations. The all female staff (?) were kind, calm, and wonderful. This team must enjoy working together. The process was polished and caring, and Dr. Crossin made us feel like she's known us and our little boy for years. I miss him so much already and I'm happy this place was here for us. ************************ I'm surprised at how low the Yelp rating is here. My best guess is that when people love an animal and have to spend big bucks on emergency surgeries and such, the frustration bleeds thru to reviews. In life or death scenarios, our emotions run high and sometimes expect too much from people who can only do so much? Nothing about our experience here indicated haphazard or inconsiderate care, for what that's worth.

On the early morning of May 7th, I brought my dog in for labored breathing. After X-rays, the vet determined he had an asthma attack caused by allergies and that his lungs were inflamed. They administered an injection to calm his breathing and sent us home with steroids. However, by 4:00 AM on May 8th, his breathing was still strained, so we returned. He received another injection and a prescription for Albuterol. Unfortunately, the pharmacy process became a nightmare. A local CVS could not fill the script due to technical errors in the way it was written. I then placed an order through Chewy.com on the morning of May 8th. By May 10th, Chewy confirmed they were still waiting for the clinic's approval. When I called the clinic to follow up, I had the misfortune of speaking with Naomi. I explained that my dog had been struggling to breathe for two days and asked why the approval was being delayed. She was incredibly rude and insensitive. When I expressed my desperation to get my dog his medication, she told me that if he couldn't breathe, I should simply "take him to a different clinic." When I told her I was going to bring him back to AEC, she said they were no longer accepting patients today. When I asked to speak to someone else besides her, she placed me on hold for 25 minutes. When I tried to call back three times from my own phone, the calls were sent immediately to hold. Suspecting I was being screened, I called from a friend's phone, Naomi answered immediately. When I asked why I was being sent straight to hold, she stated she would leave me there until she had "new information." I was so shocked with her condescending tone. I even asked if she was hearing the way she was speaking to me, she replied, "Yes, I am," and put me back on hold. After being left back on hold for several minutes, I hung up and called back. Bella answered the phone. She was the complete opposite of Naomi. Bella went out of her way to help me. I told her I no longer wanted to wait for the approval for Chewy to fill the order and was going to see if I could fill the prescription at Walmart. Bella called around to different Walmart locations to confirm they had the Albuterol in stock. Thanks to Bella, I finally have the medication. While I appreciate the medical diagnosis and Bella's help, Naomi's lack of compassion was unacceptable. No pet owner in distress should be treated with such hostility, especially when the delay involves watching their beloved pet suffering. If you bring your pet here, please be cautious of Naomi's involvement in your care. I have seen other reviews talk about an emergency vet in Redlands. I was not aware there was one. I can't imagine returning to this clinic now after the treatment I received from Naomi.

We ordered a parvo test and it came back negative so instead of prescribing the basic medications to treat my dog's symptoms or possibly look into a parasitic infection the vet thought he would attempt a money grab and begin to order X-rays and all sorts of unnecessary test. When I questioned the vet, he said my dog could have pancreatitis. On top of an outrageous walk in fee. I declined the X-rays and other test and just asked for treatment for my dog's symptoms and still I walked out with a $500 bill. I was prescribed with 5 different types or in home medicine that honestly my dog probably doesn't even need.
