This is a hidden gem for pet owners in the SFV. We have three dogs and have had numerous veterinary visits and procedures all over the valley throughout the last ten years. We just got two of our dogs teeth taken care of and the others ear medicated here. This place is not only more reasonably priced but clearly more empathetic and compassionate about taking care of our animals then any other place in the past. Though kiwi did not like going to the vet, they were there when he got sick the first time, to him getting stitches, and till the last few years he needed medication for his illness. I've been going to the veterinary office for at least 10 years or more. There were things in the past that bothered me but I really wanted to support a woman owned business. Before I left, expect to wait, I had to even leave once because it was an hour wait and came back later and I had an appointment. It's pricey, the office visit is $92.50 . My last visit without an office visit attached was $250 for a urinalysis and if your baby has surgery they charge on top a half day stay all while your baby is just waking up from the anesthesia, that's a bit steep and makes you feel like you're being nickel-and-dimed but still I wanted to support her business. Also it's highly inappropriate and unprofessional to talk politics, I'm there to take care of my babies not hear you feel both side are the same... The straw that broke was the incident with the vet tech, when I asked about the bloodwork for my dog. She informed me that I received the bloodwork information already. I again said, I have not that I did received a call about the results of the urinalysis. She then informed me again that Becky called me with that information. I did then inform her that I didn't appreciate her telling me that I did and I'm sure my face reflected my own irritation. Bottom line let's not go back and forth, just give the client the info, even if I didn't remember just go over it again... don't keep repeated you received it, it doesn't accomplish anything. Dr G is a really good vet and has a good bedside manner. Unfortunately the cons now outweigh the pros. Not sure if it's her new crew but if this is how they're going to roll, I'm sure I won't be the last one leaving, they just lost 5 clients with my babies. Found another good vet closer to home. It's more reasonable and it's not reminiscent of VCA prices. You're only as good as the staff that represent you. read more

I had to leave a review for this veterinary clinic. We had brought our boy Diablo here once he passed and had no idea what to do. We were beside ourselves when we woke up in the morning and I called this location very frantic and from the very moment i spoke to someone here they were extremely empathetic and comforting throughout the whole process. This has been one of the hardest things we've had to go through as a family. We got his ashes back and they were packaged very beautifully. They sent over us a letter paying their respects and we just received some flowers for his one month passing . Although we hadn't taken Diablo here for any treatments the way they cared for him and us during this difficult time is greatly appreciated. Wow, wow, wow is all I could say after leaving this vet the first time. I had been to 3 vets prior to coming here and I so wish I found them sooner. My cat, Loki, struggles with strangers touching him and he can get a bit spicy if not approached properly. I was at my wits end and thought that Loki was the problem but the doctor and her staff proved to me that my cat and I were not the problem. They had a gentle touch starting at the reception desk, which is way more than I could say from the other offices. Having already been pleased with the service I received at the front desk, I sat down and waited with a smile for our name to be called. When the vet tech called us in he took the time to ask me detailed questions about Loki's history and his temperament - again, more than what was done at previous vet offices. When the doctor came in it was time to take Loki out of his carrier and the doctor took her time to let him ease up to her. He by no means loves the vet now but I'll tell you this - he licked her forehead while she was writing her notes! All he needed was for his doctor to be gentle with him. At this office we both received gentle attention, which is so appreciated in this aggressive world. I will be bringing my other cat, Thor, to them in a couple of weeks and I just know it will be made easier by their attention to care. read more

I have been a client for over 25 years and never had a problem until recently. My small dog was diagnosed with kidney failure. During the last 2 weeks of his life I was treated very poorly. The vet was very cold to me I could not get a callback within. A reasonable time frame. I had to call several times to get any info on his test results. My dog passed away July 4th at another facility . I called dr hinebaugh office to leave a message for him. I never heard back from this office with condolences. read more

The vet clearly took advantage of me as a first time dog owner. I told them I wasn't sure about my puppy being dewormed yet but she insisted I get it. It was quite pushy. It turned out my dog had been dewormed after I checked with the breeder. I take full responsibility as I should have checked sooner but she clearly wasn't acting in the best interest of my wallet. Why should she I guess? Go figure. $113 down the drain. Other than that they were nice and cordial. Service was quick and the receptionist booked me over the phone promptly. Loved this vet, it's very clean and the staff are so kind. The only thing is it was extremely expensive. For a check up, xray and 10 days worth of medicine came out to almost $400. My dog had a fractured leg, but it wasn't too bad and all she needed were anti inflammatory pills to ease the pain. I'd hate to see how much it would be if it were actually broken read more

My family has been coming to Granada Veterinary Clinic for 10+ years. We've brought every dog we've owned here: 1 golden retriever, 1 labrador retriever, 2 golden doodles. More recently we have visited the vet very often. Our golden doodles are puppies so something is always going on with them. But, in March we lost out 11 year old golden retriever. It was sudden we were heart broken. One of our concerns was that because of covid we would not be able to be there when we put her down. Luckily, we were able to put her down in the outside back area they have on the property, it made all the difference to be there. Dr. Galdjyan, Gabriel, and the rest of the staff are always so nice and welcoming. They truly care about animals, and that's so important. When our golden retriever passed, Dr. Galdjyan and the staff were so sympathetic and you could tell they really felt compassion towards us going through this difficult time. Just today, I went to pick up flea medication for my golden doodles. This morning I caught my 2 year old doodle eat a corn on the cob!!! I started googling and went down a dark hole of all this horrible things that can happen. When I went to pick up the medication I explained to the guy who was helping me (don't know his name, but he's newer and great!) what happened and what emergency vet they recommended in case I need to take my pup in. His response was "let me see if I can get an answer from one of the Drs." A few minutes later out comes Dr. Galdjyan (was not expecting that at all) to talk to me about the issue. The fact that she came out to talk to me and calm me down was AMAZING. My dogs are literally like my kids so I appreciate the fact that she took a few minutes of her busy day to speak to me. She gave me advice on what to look out for and we are hopeful that my pup will pass the corn on the cob and that he will be okay, since I don't believe he swallowed it whole. I am super grateful for Granada Veterinary Clinic. I've had nothing but good experiences here. And the way they have been handling covid has been amazing. You call when you arrive and someone will come out to your car. Always very thorough never rushed. read more
