Only thing I'd change, and I know it's tradition, is to not put the fish on top of the chips. Messed those chips up. Got the haddock and it was amazing. Nice crispy batter on the outside. It was flavorful and crispy. Fish inside was tender and delicious. Tartar sauce was rich and a little tangy. Basically perfectly executed. It was really hot which is another reason to figure a way to let it rest and cool down while you dive on the chips. These are small quibbles.

We added on a side of curry sauce ($3.50) and gravy ($3.50). The menu was straight forward. The fish and chips were 10/10. One giant piece the length of the plate! The clam chowder was way too salty that I had to add lots of hot sauce and pepper. Be careful as it came out pipping hot. The poutine was not my favorite. I'm not a fan of cheese curds or the thick fries. However, the gravy was superb but wasn't hot enough to melt the cheese. I would recommend to stick with what they are known for: fish and chips! You won't be disappointed. Monday's are AYCE fish and chips for $6.50.

We were actually here for the clam chowder so we didn't get to really try new things except for the tomyum chicken wings. Will definitely be back to try the Asian fusion menu items. The woman that served us was very friendly and made good recommendations. The food came out quickly and was delicious. If you get fries, make sure you try the garlic fries! The clam chowder bowl hit the spot! The restaurant was clean and so was the restroom. There's always lots of parking in this plaza.

We ordered cocktails from a very limited menu. Our waiter wasn't sure how to make the lemon drop martini on the menu but said he'd try to follow the recipe. We asked for Grey Goose but watched him pour shelf vodka. Drinks were served after the appetizers arrived even though they were ordered first. We started with oysters. Waiter said they only had two kinds tonight so we ordered 6 of each. He set them down and left to get tobasco we requested. When he returned we asked which were which he said "we only had one kind so they're all the same." I feel he should have told us before serving them since they were $4 each! I ordered coippino which at $46 was expensive but I wanted a treat. Hubby ordered large clam chowder in bread bowl and Caesar salad. Cioppino lists first ingredient as crab. What I was served had no crab, 2 overcooked shrimp and rubbery calamari. The sauce was flavorful but so disappointing otherwise. I asked about the crab and was told "no crab" and I was offered additional scallops as compensation. He brought three small scallops on a plate. Hubby was served two small bread bowls of chowder with the explanation of "we are out of large bowls". Again, it should have been discussed prior to serving that there was a substitution. Who wants two big loaves of bread bowl??? The salad adequate-- a big bowl of romaine with croutons with a side of dressing. All in all not worth the over $150 it cost. Not in the least! And they charge an extra 3% if you use a credit card. We will not be back.

Our first visit was totally a one-off as this visit made up for all the initial deficiencies. As much as we usually try to avoid fried foods, we threw caution to the wind and ordered fried items for lunch. We ordered fried panko breaded shrimp and a Caesar salad, and the seafood platter that consisted of fried fish, scallops and shrimp served with fries. Everything was delicious! The shrimp were nice and crispy and the scallops were melt-in-your mouth yummy. Our expectations were exceeded with the fried fish as we considered getting fish and chips but why settle when you can have shrimp and scallops, too? Our server, Sharon, was outstanding with prompt attention to our drink refills. The GM Jessica so graciously visited our table to ensure our meal was satisfactory. That was very appreciated. It was a beautiful, sunny day in Las Vegas and the outside dining looked very inviting. With that said, we ate inside and it was lovely. I'm glad we decided to give this place another try and we will be back. Thank you, again, to Sharon and Jessica for a fantastic lunch experience.

I have always enjoyed not only the food, location, but the excellent service. So being hungry one evening I thought to go again as I had been there in awhile. It was lovely weather so I sat outside on the tavern side as it was fairly crowded and I didn't have a reservation. I don't care to sit inside as the restaurant side is very noisy. The inside of the tasteful bar side is quieter. I have eaten there in the past and felt very comfortable. I ordered The Herbalist: Prairie organic gin, fresh lime, muddled basil & mint. I had it with vodka, per the waitress's suggestion. It was ok, but the overpowering taste of mint reminded me of a mint mojito with lime overtones, and the basil wasn't even a footnote. If you do like mojitos though, then this would be good if you enjoy a twist of lime as your background notes. It leans to the refreshing versus cloyingly sweet. Stephanie, my waitress, asked how I liked the drink and when she found out I did not care for it, gallantly exchanged it with an Old Fashioned. No complaints on that drink. Great for sipping. I ordered the Blackened Wild Ono (Wahoo) with a Potato bun / cabbage slaw / cilantro / pickled onion / remoulade. I asked her to just put the bun on the side as I wanted to just enjoy the fish as I had not had it in ages. I realized it came with French fries and so I asked if they could make them extra crispy. The fish was blackened and so I expected some saltiness, but it was so overbearing and the fish itself was a bit overcooked. But because I was incredibly hungry, by time the fish came out, I decided I would just eat it. The Frenchfries were perfect, and the bread that came with my drink at the start of evening helped to soak up the saltiness along with my water. When it came time for the check, Stephanie asked me how the Ono was. I let her know that her service was impeccable (it really was, (very patient, professional, and caring), but that in the future maybe to not salt the fish so much and to not grill/sear so long. My only intent was trying to just be helpful for the next customer. When she came back she said she talked to her manager and they would not charge me for the Ono! I was surprised of course as I had eaten it and most of the fries. But she said they just wanted to make things right. I have to say I was very surprised and grateful with the care that they continue to express with their customers. Thank you for making my evening Stephanie and King's Fish House. I will be back.

I hadn't been to this restaurant before but it is stunning and now I really want to come back for a real meal haha. They had a live band playing and I love that their wall opens up to Water Street and is basically a patio. It's gorgeous here. Our servers were great and so nice with us. I was the only one eating but my family all ordered drinks. I got the hot honey chicken sandwich and it was really freaking good. I'm obsessed with hot honey these days and it really hit the spot. It came with fries which were also really good. This restaurant is gorgeous inside and reminds me of something you'd find downtown Vegas. I definitely want to come back again and get a real sit down experience. I'll be back for a date night for sure!

I WANT to love this place. It is so close to being fantastic…read more I have eaten here about 10 - 15 times over the last year and a half. The Burger should be great. The meat is fantastic, the bun is excellent, but I'm just not a special sauce kind of person. All they need to do to make their burger really awesome is to carry some BBQ sauce. That's it. This entire establishment does not contain any form of BBQ sauce. Don't get me wrong, I am not somebody who would ever put it on a good steak! But burgers, wings, fries, this place offers a number of things that could be elevated by keeping a few bottles of BBQ in the fridge. Just give me the option, you don't even need to list it on the menu. I used to love the beef stroganoff that they had for a while, but I guess it must not have been popular because they got rid of it. It seems that in it's place they started offering a Shepards pie. I was excited about this meal until it arrived and the potatoes were filled with cheese. A Shepards pie does not traditionally have any cheese. So it is probably a good idea for the menu to mention that it is in there. In any case, I tried to order it sans the cheese but I guess it is pre mixed into the mash or something. They cant make it with no cheese. :( Lastly, and most depressingly, they took the shrimp appetizer off of the happy hour menu! This was a real kick-in-the-dick for me. I have probably came to BLVD Grille at least 10 times in the last year specifically because the happy hour $5 shrimp appetizer was so outstanding. I am genuinely depressed that they took it off the happy hour menu. I haven't tried the steaks yet, I want to, but most days, I'm just looking for some shrimp, a side of fries and a drink. I haven't given up on this place yet, but I feel like I'm losing my favorite menu items one by one.
