Great little Italian restaurant. We have been here a few times, haven't really had anything we didn't like. They have really good wood oven pizzas. Apps and salads are good as well...they offer a few dishes with brussels sprouts that are really tasty. The wine list is pretty descent, and they have a full bar. Ordered the caprese salad and herb bread for lunch through DoorDash. Sure the mozzarella (only three pieces for $14.98) was good but really? I got more lettuce than mozzarella and tomatoes and worst thing - only two tiny basil leaves. I have to wonder - if a caprese salad's primary ingredients are fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and basil - how were they the least amount of ingredients I got? I know the description said mixed greens but this was crazy. At this price I could have bought a whole package of fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and basil vs the three slices of mozzarella, tomatoes and two tiny leaves of basil I got. I threw out the mixed greens because it was more spinach which I can't eat then mixed greens. Oh and I paid for bread when the salad came with two pieces - had the description said that I wouldn't have paid $4.99 for bread I didn't need and $1.49 for a small cup of sauce. Five of us had lunch here today. Being from San Fran, I ha e to say this food was AMAZING! I had the roasted Brussel sprouts and kale salad - add chicken and it was phenomenally delicious. We went here for New Year's Eve dinner. Surprisingly, they still had tables available, so we made reservations for 5:30 for 5 of us. I've been here three times now, and every time is a great treat! I'm in love with the 1/2 priced wine on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and we ordered a bottle on New Year's since the deal was on during our dinner there. The mussels are so delicious that my sister insisted on not sharing and ordering her own mussel appetizer. I'm in love with the pumpkin ravioli with the balsamic sauces and pistachio nuts. I've now ordered this twice. Sometime I think I'd really like to try the pizza, but it's so difficult when you find something so delicious. My boyfriend commented that it was one of the first places he's seen my family eat EVERYTHING and not pack up any leftovers -- it's just SO hard to stop eating there because everything is delicious! I was in town for a work meeting and they had arrange for us to have dinner at Via Baci. Denver really does love to tuck away really good restaurants into strip malls. I was really impressed with everything at Via Baci, the food, the service, the prices and atmosphere. We had a few appetizers, drinks and I ordered the salmon for dinner. The salmon was outstanding, it was a decent size and the paired with the most delicious asparagus. We had about 12 people in our group and everyone seemed to be pretty happy with their meals. The service was also impeccable, the waitress rolled with the punches of a large group and was spot on throughout our entire experience. She even recommended more expensive wine since the first glass was on the house! Such a good call! More than anything, you can't go wrong with their happy hour, especially when bottles of wine are 40% off!! read more

We had Troy as our server, wow pleasant young man. The staff all looked so happy. Our food was so great! We had the fig prosciutto, bruschetta, and cheese bread. All of the ingredients were fresh and we appreciated the quality of details. The bread and crust both hand made to perfection. We love fire brick style pizza. Too good to be true! Yum! We were also greeted as soon as we arrived and seated straight away which was awesome just out of church on Easter and hungry. We give this place five stars all around. Thank you so much. We met up with my partner's father when he was visiting with his wife. My partner suggested this place because he knew his father liked Italian. Well, we now regret that. We made reservations (thankfully since they were busy) and were seated immediately but that was probably the only positive occurrence. My partner and I both ordered the chicken and it was so dry I had to smother it in butter and asked for more butter - I ended up not eating much of it, he ate it because at this point he was starving. Our server only came to our table to take our orders and drop off the check. We had to stop another staff member to get our waters and drinks refilled. I am not sure how I managed to not reivew this place after I've been here several times. I frst heard of via baci when I was visiting a friend who ordered pizza from via baci. There were several pizzas and I picked up a slice of pizza that looked like it had lettuce on top and took a bite. It was delciious! The pizza in question was pizza with fig and proscuitto topped with arugula. Since then and that was almost 2 years ago, I've actually gone to via baci about 3 or 4 times now. The fig and prosciutto pizza is my absolute favorite, although a group of Yelpers met up here for lunch this week and I tried something different. I ordered a side ceasar salad and the turkey flatbread sandwich (it was a lunch special). The ceasar dressing was some of the best I've ever tasted. I even put some on my flatbread sandwich. It was so tasty. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal and were pleased with their selections. Also, be sure to try out the dessert. The Nutella and strawberry dessert pizza is not to be missed. read more

I'm jus a visitor to the lovely city of Lone Tree, for the worst of reasons, a business trip. The sort of trip that involves gettings up early and working a very long day so that by the end, it feels life has lost all meaning. In such dire situations, the only hope for recovery is a good meal and wow, Via Baci made it happen. We had a group of travellers and we decided on pizza and a local resident suggested this place. It was a Thursday night, about 7pm and though it was active, it was no overly packed and we were able to get a table right away. Turns out that Monday and Thursday are half price nights on all wine. I loved the idea but when I'm out for good pizza only an Italian beer, my beloved Peroni, will do and thus, I ordered the suds. The waiter was great, took our orders, and had drinks back at the table in only a few minutes. While he was doing the drinks I read the menu and found that the flour for the pizzas is brought from Italy, as well as the tomatoes, and they make their mozzerela in house and the sausage is also made by the company as well. I ordered the Vesuvias pizza (sausage, cheese, carmelized onions, and fresh herbs) and a side salad. The salad was fresh greens, roasted pine nutes, and a balsalmic dressing. The greens were fresh and the pine nuts were a nice touch, a good basic starter salad. As for the pizza, and I have to tell you I have had pizza in Naples, and this was very much like a pizza from there, including being cooked in a wood fired oven, and it was great. The herbs on the pizza were not dried, but fresh, and it made a huge difference, so good! The restaurant also has some pasta dishes, including a pumpkin ravioli in a brown-butter sauce that someone else at my table ordered and liked, but if you come here, have the pizza! A good beer and a pizza later, I was ready to face life again. Thank you Via Baci, for helping me recover from a long day of business! :-) Oh, the pizza was $12 or $13 and worth it for the quality. read more

I agree with the previous reviewers on their rating of the pizzas at Via Baci. I, instead, base my review on the other foods... Via Baci is a regular favorite of my family. The service is fantastic, the wait staff are attentive and entertaining, and the food is delicious. I have a difficult time every visit trying to decide between my two favorite items on the menu, Chicken Cavatappi (herb roasted chicken, with bacon, chives and shallots, on a bed of pasta) or the Pumpkin Ravioli (it is topped with roasted pistachios!). The atmosphere is fun and lively. The wine list isn't huge, but is adequate. They have a few specialty drinks like 'the nutty italian'-frangelico and absolut. If you are looking for something different, Via Baci's may fit the bill for you. read more

It's okay. My wife likes this place, so we've been repeat visitors, however I find it to be uninspiring. The pizza look to be very good on paper. They use creative ingredients, however they fail to get the most flavor out of their toppings. They have an in-house mozzarella that does taste fresh and adds that fresh, true Italian taste to the pizzas. The crust is thin and crispy, which is good as well. I've had the Adriatico twice, and considering it has pine nuts, garlic, artichokes, and mozzarella, it still needed a heavy dose of salt to make it flavorful. The same goes for their salads. They lack taste. This isn't a bad restaurant, but it does need a little help from the condiments at your table, in order to arrive at a good flavor. read more

Came here for happy hour. I was a little hesitant because it is in a strip mall sort of spot next to a supercuts. The happy hour menu isn't all that extensive. The best value is the $2 off any pizza. I ordered the Margherita and a $5 glass of wine. Service was impeccable. Margherita great. As I looked at the entire menu and all looked pretty standard. They offered Eggplant Parmesan which is one of my favorites. I really wished they offered an Eggplant Rollatini (like manicotti but with eggplant slices not noodles). It seems like every time you turn around, there's a deal to be had...half-off wine Tuesdays and Thursdays, Prime Rib night, a Yelp deal, an email coupon club, and an incredible happy hour (every glass of wine is $4, every appetizer is $4). Surprisingly underwhelming given the reviews here. The cooked-to-medium garlic stuffed steak was an odd shape that led it to being very well done (and tough) on the edges and rare on the inside. No real seasoning to speak of, save for a few garlic clumps inside. Wife ordered gluten free chicken bianco pizza. About halfway through we called the waitress over to comment on how it really didn't seem like gluten free. She insisted they just had a new recipe and didn't bother to check the kitchen. This really seems like a training issue on the importance of why people order gluten free items. As we suspected, it was a regular crust. Wife was sick for 5 days after that because she is allergic to certain gluten proteins. Follow up calls to the restaurant led us to being hung up on. If you're gluten free (from celiac or allergy), I wouldn't chance this place. read more

And 4 glasses of wine, mussels, pizza, and crane brûlée were less than $30 (before tip). Sunday turned out to be a very good day to go - $4 appetizers and glasses of wine :-). They have hands down the best spinach Artichoke dip I've ever tried, and their Melanzana pizza with veggies and eggplant is soooo yummy!! While the food was good (at least what I got of my order) the service was not. After being seated, 10 minutes went by and we still didn't see a server so I stopped the busser and inquired about seeing a server. Still waiting....FINALLY...the server stops by and says "Hi, folks. I'll be back in a minute." Hey, what's 15 minutes at this point? Takes our order. Mine comes w/ a salad. Except the salad never comes. I point it out after our server finally returns (the food was brought by someone else) and I'm half way through the entree. He offers to bring it then. Ummm.. a little late, dude. So after all that, he doesn't even adjust the bill a couple bucks.So we wait 15 minutes to get the server, don't get our complete order. I tipped 10% instead of my customary 20% and shouldn't have. Really, I shouldn't have. I should have asked for the manager, but I didn't want to embarrass the other people who were with me. While other people rave about this place, I won't be back. Alexandra (looking at the receipt) was our waitress & she was rude from the very start as it was obvious that she didn't want to be there herself. She had no problem interrupting our conversation & stood there awkwardly on top of basically while we paid (think she wanted to see if she was getting tipped which we still did). The pizza was good & the salad was alright. To me, it reminded me of Pizza Republica but Pizza Repulica is so much better! Definitely not a place I would recommend. I come here for lunch and usually get an Arugula salad and pizza. Enzo and Diablo 2 of my favs. I like meat pizza with bold flavor and spice. These both work for me. The food is always fresh. It you dont' get pizza it's good to start with the Caprese. The mozzarella and tomatoes with basil are always a great start! Love this restaurant...the waitstaff was sooo nice and attentative. We checked in and got a free appetizer for our check-in on yelp. We had shrimp scampi which was rich with garlic and they used shaved parmesan which was delicious and such a nice touch. i had the chicken pesto penne special which was delicious with cold penne and pesto mixed with crunchy cauliflower and beets. we also had the chicken caesar salad pizza which was also a lunch special and that was very good as well. Dessert consisted of tiramisu which was rich with kahlua liqour and light and fluffy. We had a great time and they gave us those cute gliteratti hard fruit candies with our check.
