I stopped by while getting some work done on my car nearby, and WOW, what treat. My server Estella was so nice and helpful as I ordered a sope and taco special of the day with a side of beans. The salsa was addictive and chips tasted fresh and crispy. I had to make myself stop eating them so I could enjoy the rest. The prices are fair and the food was delicious! Went for lunch with some co-workers and they had it all planned out. Since it was only down the street we called in our order and when we got there the food was already on a table waiting for us. The place is tucked away in a little shopping center. They had lunch specials I did not know about until I got there (that's why I posted their menu) but I ordered a combo plate that came with a taco, enchiladas rice and beans. Also came with fresh chips and salsa that was also already waiting for us. The food was really good, the service was good and the place was much bigger than it looks from the outside. Well I came here based on a a instagram review just to see if it would match there post. It's a hole in the wall restaurant, the place needs a help when it comes to renovation. The service was very attentive and that we liked. The food was and 8/10, my carnitas was over fried. Everything else was good. The drinks we good and at a great price. The ambiance could have been a little better if they would have had music playing the whole time on their own, instead of a juke box. Came in with hubby for a lunch date as we were craving authentic home style Mexican food and we've honestly heard nothing but good things about Mariscos Mexico Lindo! We wanted to try their mariscos but it was really cold that day so we opted for some hot food. The store itself was nice and clean, pretty busy a Wednesday at 2 pm, we were surprised! Despite being busy, we were sat down quickly and immediately served with our drinks and their delicious chips and salsa. We ordered a combo "Mar y Tierra" plate. The meat was insane. Juicy, tender, perfectly cooked. The shrimp was so freaking delicious, Camerones al mojo de ajo, a MUST try if you hit up this little spot! We also ordered Tacos the papa were good but average. Not posted was the Agua de melon ( melon juice) which was really good, a little on the sweet side but perfect for our food. Service was ON POINT. The ladies here come with all of the traditional exceptional Mexican service and you couldn't ask for more attentive, friendly staff. My friend E. whose been an MML regular 30+ years, highly recommended MML for breakfast. We came early and already there were customers. Upon entering, there is a large dining area with booths and tables. After sitting down, the friendly hostess served us chips and salsa, then left. A grouchy bear in my stomach started growling. Luckily nobody heard and I started munching on the tasty chips and salsa to settle him down. Our hostess soon returned, refreshed our chips and asked if we wanted anything to drink. Six chips in and my spirits higher, I ordered a Corona for my top chakra. The bottle came nicely chilled, juicy lime on top. My friend and I ordered Chilaquiles Mexico Lindo and a plate of Sopa de Pollo. Within minutes and our plates were served with all the typical fixings including corn and flour tortillas. Well my firrh review this is not. First off there is only 1 waitress for everyone. We went for dinner and it was not good. I ordered camerons de MOJO de ajo which for the price was not worth it. My tortillas were cold the chips and salsa were so salty and tasted like it's been sitting. My husband got the torta de milensa boy was he not happy. It come out and it was crunchy and over cooked. . I ordered here for the very first time through delivery. It was delivered in a box and wrapped in plastic which I loved because it prevented food from tipping over and spilling. When I order delivery, I tend to order several items so I can have it for breakfast, lunch, dinner. I ordered the menudo to have for breakfast, sopitos for lunch, asada torta for dinner and a churro cheesecake for dessert. Upon visual inspection of every item delivered, it all looked good.. they even gave chips and salsa, like, onion & cilantro, and all the fixins you need when eating Mexican food. But as I opened each box, I noticed that the churro cheesecake I ordered ended up being a cherry cheesecake. I am very particular when I eat cheesecake. I don't like plain cheesecake and I also don't like cherries. So I was very disappointed to see that I received a cherry cheesecake instead of the churro cheesecake that I ordered on DoorDash. If they didn't have the churro cheesecake, I wish they would've just canceled that item because I am definitely not going to eat it. It also looks store bought.. So that's why I took a star off. Before writing this review I made sure to try the rest of the items that I DID order. The menudo was flavorful, the torta was decent but a little on the dry side I'm used to it either having Mayo or some sort of avocado spread or something, and the sopitos were good. Overall, this was a good first experience except for the cheesecake incident. The soup arrived very hot and sealed in a package with sides of chips, various salsas, rice, slices of lime, cilantro and diced onion. The soup itself contained chunks of beef, some bones, cabbage, potatoes, chayote squash, zucchini and carrots. It was salted just right and a generous serving. I love that they carry Mexican cane sugared Coca Cola!!! They also carry healthy fresh pressed juices that are delicious, especially when they're filled with beets. I tried the chicken sopes, which were topped with a lot of cheese and a generous amount of guacamole and lettuce. The sope masa base was fried enough to hold the sauce of the meat to not get soggy. The shrimp quesadilla was also plated with a generous portion of guacamole. It also had a lot of chopped shrimp making the price worth it. So came here for lunch and ordered the albondiga soup and it had to of been several days old because it tasted spoiled... The veggies smelled and tasted so bad that I spit them out and the soup had a combination of old veggies and fresh veggies. I have been going to this restaurant for many years, the ladies that work there are amazing and so is the food. My personal favorite is the Flamingo, it is a deep fried chicken burrito topped with sour cream and guac, served with rice and beans. I hate to leave bad reviews. But i have to. I ordered a caldo de res and it was bland, three very small pieces of beef (table spoon size) two bones, no rice on the side, no potatoes in the caldo. I had to get myself something to eat after, because it was not enough, i felt like i didn't eat at all. Very disappointing. The chips were stale, maybe from the morning or the day before. My wife got a carnitas burrito that she didn't finish it, she said it didn't taste right. On the plus side, the woman helping us was very nice and polite. We will not be going back. read more
