After a long day of competition and swimming little tummies were hungry so we stopped into the restaurant to order some food before retiring for the evening. Staff was friendly, plenty of seating in the dining area. Menu had some good options. We went with the chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Food was hot and fresh and a generous pasta portion. The sauce was delicious, everyone was satisfied. I do wish we were able to charge to the room since we just came from the pool, but luckily my friend brought her applepay lol very good food. read more

Just awful... check-in time was at 3:00 PM got here at 4pm we were told room not ready-made. It was 100° outside said they would call when room was ready. Still waiting finally get checked in at 7pm get to room 2007 looked around to see if beds and such were ok. Go into bathroom water on floor something was leaking we go and check it out couldn't tell where water was coming from. Called front desk no answer. Went down stairs to let them know issue,they said they will call engineering come up. We are still waiting. Girl at dest said we may have to change your room. Still waiting... we put towels on floor so we would not slip or fall on tile flooring. The room needed vacuuming. It was not cleaned right previous guest left wristband was on floor so obviously was not cleaned. Headboard dusty refrigerated was dripping water. Lot of air in pipes water cloudy. I highly recommend Do not stay here. Very disappointed We asked for discount for all the issues we just got a look and no answer. Who ever manages this place should be ashamed of yourself. Seems you need to hire more help and have more than one employee to assist with customer needs. This was sister last night here in California before she leaves back to Texas. read more

Stayed here at the hotel and decided to try out their bar and grill. The food is actually really good. I got a blackened chicken sandwich and my boyfriend got a turkey grille. All together it was 30 dollars. The servers were very kind and helpful. The dining area was clean and set up nicely. read more

Service was 5 stars. Food was just ok. I guess I ordered the wrong thing. When I read steak sandwich with au jus, I envisioned a hearty French roll with meat and cheese to dip. I got two peices of sourdough that turned soggy stat, adorned with fresh sliced tomato and iceburg lettuce. No cheese *pouts*. The au jus was pretty good but got cold really quickly. I ended up just pulling the steak out of the sandwich and dipping it by itself. It wasn't really seasoned and tough to cut with a butter (obviously) knife. The fries were very thin and cooked through. I had to salt them for flavor but they were pretty good dunked in ketchup. Can't beat $3 glasses of wine though. Located inside the Azure Hotel, this place functions as the do it all spot. Complimentary breakfast, meals for lunch, specials for happy hour, dinner for the guests, and drinks. Nothing stellar to write about. The breakfast is better than the defrost and serve that you find at most of the moderate hotels. The happy hour consist of some form of drinks and finger foods. The dinners are ok if you don't want to run around looking for something - in this area, there really isn't much so I usually relegate myself to this place when staying at the Azure. Their feature beer is usually pretty good and when you tie one on, it's great to just go upstairs and sleep it off. No driving, walking, or any other stuff that might end up with finding oneself passed out on the sidewalk or in the bushes. Not that I know anything about such activities! ;) When I was there, the daily special was the London Broil - basically everything drowned in gravy. Funny thing, when they say daily special, they mean it. It was the same special every day! Prices are ok for the food and drinks, and the service is great. I was in town this past weekend doing a two day crash course for my upcoming real estate exam and regrettably made the decision to stay next door at the Folk Inn. I use to work near this area and would pass by this place with some co workers during happy hour when it was still the Ayres Suites. The happy hour here is still cool. Great prices for drafts and some bottles here. I even struck up nice conversation with the bartender/waitress on duty Sofie. She was really a sweetheart. I wound up staying until closing just chopping it up with her talking about life and how time flies. She's been there since the Ayres Suites days so she's got great command of the restaurant. I must admit the food quality did change since those days so you're just going to trust what you think is reliable. It took me a while to decide what to order with also seeing other people's food orders coming out. I wound up getting the shrimp scampi to take back to my room. It was decent. Good pieces of shrimp however the pasta sauce was watered down. It was like they were running low on sauce and wanted to stretch out what was left to fill the plate. It's too bad to because it took away from what could have been a really delicious scampi. Nevertheless, if you're staying around here this is a pretty good hotel bar/restaurant to check out if you don't feel like driving too far and want to a keep things convenient, quiet, and quaint. Came in to grab lunch while I was at a conference at the hotel. We were given the option to pre-order our meals and have them ready at our designated break time. I ordered the blackened chicken sandwich with a side of potato salad and an iced tea. I arrived at 12 and was promptly greeted. My meal was ready and already set at a table with silverware and all. The sandwich was decent but needed a little more seasoning. The potato salad tasted like store bought so I doubt it's made in-house. Overall it was just okay. It's a convenient place to enjoy a meal and maybe drinks for those either staying at the hotel or attending a conference but I would not return for any other reason. Food is good for what they serve. There is no Vegan or Vegetarian dishes which is hard for me as I changed my diet for Vegan April, 2018. Their menu here is normal hearty food. Zucchini dip is delicious. And Jalapeño poppers! The 4-7pm happy hour is great. If you haven't tried a drink called an Alabama Slammer then heres the place to try it and you will love them they are sooo good! read more

Great friendly staff and solid food for a hotel. Usually I don't expect much from a built in restaurant but they have a pretty nice menu with tasty food. Drink pours we'ralso generous. Recommend the turkey sandwich with fries. Would stay and definitely eat here again. read more

We were staying at the hotel for the night this past Saturday 1/18/20 and decided to go to the Grille for happy hour. The Grille opens at 4:00 pm and there happy hour is from 4-7 so we went to have a few drinks and watch the Laker game. When we took a seat at the front of the Grille, there was currently only 2 people sitting at the bar area. The bartender came to our table and provided us with eating menus and informed us what was on the happy hour menu. The partner and I decided to have 2 draft beers since that's what was an option on the happy hour for $4. Once we were done drinking those, we decided to switch it up and have a vodka with diet coke which was amazing and not too strong. The waitress came to our table and informed us that if we were going to order food to do so now as they have a conference going on and they are about to serve over 60 people. Once she informed us, we chose to have mozzarella sticks which is another item off their happy hour menu. Sure enough, once we placed our order, the 60 people came out of the conference room into the patio area to take pictures and then made their way back into the conference area. This was not a problem as it didn't appear that they were eating anything since once they went into the conference, it seemed as if they left for the night. The waitress seen that our glasses became empty and made her way to our table to see if we would like anything else. I chose to try a white russian since I seen it on Yelp. The drink wasn't as white as normal but the waitress stated it was her first time making it and asked if I liked it which it was really delicious. We actually had a great time drinking, talking and watching the game...what more could you ask for? I didn't get a chance to try their breakfast because it's from 6-9am and who wakes up that early on a Sunday? We will be back if ever in the neighborhood. read more

Very happy with the bar/restaurant service! We stayed there for few days for the Attorney bar exam and they gave the option to have the lunches ready after the exam and they did not disappoint, really good food. We also went there for dinner a couple of times at night. Sandra is absolutely amazing respect to customer service and very friendly and great to all our request and demands. They even offer to prepare something separate to accommodate my friend sensitive stomach. Definitely recommended!! read more

This place is really something. Food is mediocre and if you're staying at the hotel and want to charge to the room you can do so unless it's $30 or more then you have to use a credit card. My advice would be just to forgo the mediocre food and go somewhere else. The hotel is also a dump. Says 4 stars but more like 2.5 stars read more

For being a hotel restaurant I found their prices reasonable and their food fairly fresh. I had a Cesar salad that had lots of fresh and crisp lettuce, Parmasean, and croutons. For a few dollars more I added 4 pieces of shrimp. The dressing really wasn't that great. I think it had far too much citrus in it and it was very overwhelming. The service was nice, the wait was minimal, and I enjoyed my salad, with exception of the dressing. read more

I showed up at 4:30 (they open at 4:00) and ordered a goose island IPA. Even though it wasn't on the HH menu it was only $4! I expected to pay at least $7 since this is a hotel restaurant. Nice. I decided to order the 8oz sirloin with steamed veggies, potatoes and a side salad. The salad came out 2 minutes after I made the order. The meal was very good and hopefully it was not because I was the only one in the place, but everything was still hot when it arrived to my table. The veggies were steamed but fresh and crunchy. The bread was warm and seemed home made. I eat out at hotels a lot and this is one of the better places I have tried. The only downside is the decor and ambiance. It could use some better (dimmer) lighting and upgraded furniture, and the bar is designed so that you can't see any of the tv's as there is no back bar to mount them so they are positioned above the bar itself. Overall, a good place to eat and enjoy a drink at a reasonable price. Oh yea, there are only 3 beers on tap with one of them being Michelob Ultra so let's say there's really only two. read more

It's now the Azure hotel, but the restaurant is still there. The bartender/ server was so nice and respectful. I didn't want to leave the hotel, so I decided to try their restaurant. I ordered the Cobb salad. The price was good $7 something. The rest of the menu was similar in price. If I had to judge it based on the salad, I'll order again. It's better than the restaurant diner right outside. The turkey was good, the avocado was fresh, blue cheese pungent, ranch was just the right consistency. In the morning, I'll have their complimentary breakfast. Hopefully, that will be good. read more

What a pleasant surprise. Traditionally a hotel isn't my first choice but boy did this restaurant change my mind. The selection was good and the food was great. The Southwest Chicken Salad was full of nicely seasoned chicken and mix of greens. The salad was a great value especially because it was a special of the day. The next day of my stay I decided to venture into the Happy Hour..... Good selection of beer choices and the Goose IPA sealed the deal for me. I ended up ordering the Chicken Strips so I ate dinner without having to leave the bar. I'd definitely eat in the restaurant and partake in the Happy Hour experience again when I'm back in the area next month. read more

I stay at Hotel Azure frequently for work and therefore find myself dining there quite frequently as well. Fortunately not only is the food convenient, but also very good and at a reasonable price. In addition to this the service has always been excellent, especially from "Sandra" who serves and tends bar most weeknights, consistently ensuring that her patrons are tended to and always making the extra effort to provide above average service even when things are very busy. The salmon was very dry and gray in a color. Boring salad consisted of iceberg lettuce with a few grated carrots with bland dressing. Service was exceptionally slow. While staying at the Azure Hotel and Suites, my husband and I ate here a few times and really enjoyed it! First, the hotel offers complimentary breakfast. This is hands down the freshest and tastiest breakfast I have had in while at a hotel. They use real eggs- not the gross powder stuff. They also offer a great lunch/dinner menu. Our server was very pleasant and suggested delicious options! I had the best Sole, which was the daily special. It was so good and very reasonable. My husband had the ribeye and loved it! The bar offers a wide variety of drink specials and we enjoyed some really tasty craft beers off their custom beer list. All around great experience and would definitely recommend! read more

Ordered the build your own burger (medium) with avocado, cheese, and fried egg. Topped it off with a Goose Island IPA.
