Very cool Tiki Hut / Treehouse type feel. I love the beach sand floor. There was live music playing and everybody was very friendly. We met other dogs and got to sit in giant chairs. They also had picnic tables with umbrellas and upstairs they had actual dining seating with the indoor bar as well. There were lots of different types of games to play like cornhole, ginga, and what looked to be like a setup for beer pong. There was a little photo booth outside and it was on the marina Pier. Definitely a must go see!

I had a great experience here. I came here on Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend around 7:30/8 with my boyfriend and his group of friends visiting and it was packed (there was live music outside). We were immediately seated indoors and our server was a young guy who was great our whole dinner. He took our drink orders, food orders, and all of it came at a a great pace. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals especially after a day of sharking. I wanted something basic so just got the chicken finger plate and they were freshly fried for sure and got the loaded mashed potatoes with collard greens which were also really tasty. The fried chicken sandwich my boyfriend got was delicious and the fries were hot and fresh. It was my first time eating here and we all had a great experience and a delicious meal!

I was sleeping on this happy hour and I'm so glad I stopped in during it because everything was delish and there is a great selection of food. The show stopper for me was the fried green tomatoes but honestly the spring rolls were good too. The portions as you can see are very generous so come hungry. Perfect outdoor seating on a nice evening but plenty indoor when it's cold. Our server was super helpful making a mocktail creation with the bartender and very attentive.

I wasn't a big fan of the food here but the service made it better. The grits were super lumpy and so I just ate the seafood off the top of them, It's a cute restaurant but there are lots of other places to eat in Shem creek. It's a very large restaurant and during the week their happy hour lasts until 7. My friend also had a bourbon salmon pasta which was amazing. I regret not ordering that one. Lol

food was delicious! drinks were great and our server cody was top notch! i had some of the most delicious crab cakes i've had in quite awhile!!! the others had calamari, bourbon butter shrimp, caesar salad with chicken, shrimp n grits & green beans. all were very good. we sat outside and enjoyed the evening breeze, got a little chilly after some time, while watching the firework from i'm guessing the joe but could've been patriots pt if they do them. outside wasn't crowded so not sure about inside. it has been ages since i have been there but my daughter mentioned how much they enjoyed it so.... i will be back for more crab cakes and bourbon butter shrimp!!

Vickery's Bar & Grill Review | Mt. Pleasant, Sc 1313 Shrimp Boat Ln, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464 4.1 out of 5 stars Vickery's Bar & Grill delivers a solid coastal dining experience with a laid-back vibe that feels right at home along the canal. The setting is easily one of its strongest cards--water views, boats drifting by, and a relaxed Lowcountry atmosphere that instantly puts you in vacation mode (even if you're local). The menu is impressively broad, offering everything from burgers and salads to pasta dishes, so there's something for just about everyone at the table. Pair that with a tasty drink menu, and you've got a recipe for a very enjoyable meal. We hit it during the slow season, which meant zero wait time--a beautiful thing--and the staff was friendly and attentive without hovering. Atmosphere-wise, the outdoor setting shines, but the interior tells a slightly older story. The inside and bar area feel a bit dated, and the bar itself could use a little TLC--nothing alarming, just noticeable. Also, fair warning: if you're not a raw onion enthusiast, the salad onions come in hot and proud. Onion lovers will rejoice, everyone else might pick a few out. Bottom line: Vickery's is a great spot for good food, strong drinks, friendly service, and a canal-side view that does most of the heavy lifting. A little interior refresh would push it higher, but at 4.1 stars, it's absolutely worth a stop--especially on a sunny, no-wait kind of day. www.westayedthere.com @we_stayed_there

After arriving in Charleston, we were hungry! My daughter was told by a friend that lives there that Vickery's has great people, great food, and a great view! All true!!! Kate took great care of us! We spent quite a bit of time on the deck enjoying the sunset and the breeze! Even though we stayed well past finishing our meal, Kate continued to take good care of us! My mom ordered a Hamburger. It arrived HOT and super juicy! My daughter ordered the Black N' Blue Hamburger. The Blue cheese was fresh and really made the burger great! I ordered the Shrimp Po Boy! I asked for an extra side of the sauce. I LOVE GOOD SAUCE! The shrimp was big and perfectly cooked so every bite had tons of flavor! We are so glad a local recommended Vickery's! Kate made it great, the food & view made it even better! Most Sincerely!

The service was definitely good. Just fyi, all of the parking spots have a parking Qr code but it is free for the first 3 hours when you go there and eat. Ambiance was definitely awesome cz you get to see the marsh and water view. It was perfect weather too. The food was honestly just ok but servings are big.

Not sure why overall rating is 3.3 stars as I have come to Vickery's as each time I come to visit Charleston & I always have a good time. Food is consistently good, the spot on Shem Creek is awesome and service is always friendly. Cool place to hang on a Sunday to have an adult beverage or two as the view is worth the price you pay to hang. Check it out you'll have a nice time!

Our server Billy from USC gave us epic amazing service!!! Brought two of our besties for this first time...Cuban chicken bowl could not have been fresher and more flavorful! The jambalaya is loaded with fresh seafood and amazing ingredients... just enough heat to want more ... my all time fav is the appetizer crab cake with their corn relish ... a must stop! Walk off your wonderful meal as you look at boats and gorgeous scenery xoxo

Rebecca was AMAZING! Sit in her section if you get the chance! They accommodated my every request! I even got a side of fried eggs with my shrimp, unloaded mashed potatoes, and broccoli! Yummy! Also, the views are so beautiful! Can't go wrong at Vickery's!

We ended up getting a couple dozen oysters, smoked fish dip and crispy tuna rice. Oysters were fresh and nicely chilled, tuna rice was well seasoned and the fish dip was ok, didn't have any smoky flavor or element to it and lacked in flavor. We ended up moving back down with our friends who had dogs so they ordered from the regular menu. The server was very accommodating and friendly. My friend got the burnt ends Mac n cheese and that was delicious! The place itself was huge and I could see it being a great spot for private events. Overall we had a good time.

I was a little worried when the website said call ahead seating was on hold thinking they would be slammed, but forged onward!' It was Sunday afternoon. I have read about nightmare parking but did not experience that at all. Zoomed right in. Yes, it was eleven bucks. I don't mind paying and refuse to get myself worked up over it. Ask for an outside table and no sooner did we sit down, the dolphins showed up!!! I consider myself an expert on dolphin spotting and had to show the table of 5 college age young ladies where they were located. They loved them as well. Who knew they would be so active in the middle of a busy waterway? As a former boat owner, I love watching those huge honkin' boats parallel park in between the baby ones. I do not have that skill , but it's entertaining to watch. Tyler was our server and was nice and attentive. Drinks were cold and quite good. I ordered a house Chardonnay and it was Cambria. Not crazy expensive either! Had shrimp tacos and steamed shrimp. So many steamed ones that I had a full meal the next day. I look forward to trying many more dishes. What I enjoyed the most was being part of a fun atmosphere in a fun place. Not a sad person in the place. That's always my attitude near any body of water. One thing that immediately stood out was that they were open late on a Sunday. We arrived around 8 PM, which was incredibly convenient, and since the restaurant wasn't crowded, we were seated right away. Our server (I unfortunately don't remember her name, she was blonde and incredibly friendly) provided what was probably the best service we experienced during our entire trip. She was attentive, welcoming, and made excellent recommendations. We ordered the 2x California Burger, chicken sandwich, a gyro, side salads (they put the dressing on the salads, it was actually the perfect amount for me, but just be warned, ask for it on the side if you want to add it yourself), and a cheesesteak. The gyro (I got lamb) was recommended by our server, and it did not disappoint! Everything was fantastic, but the burgers deserve special recognition. Whoever was working the grill that night deserves a raise. Hands down, the best burger we had on our entire trip. The seasoning was perfect, the patties were thick and juicy, and they had an amazing char that took them to the next level. We also upgraded to the Aloha Fries, which were a great addition and definitely worth trying. From the outstanding food to the exceptional service, Coleman Public House exceeded our expectations in every way. We'll definitely be back because there are still so many items on the menu we want to try. The place was clean, could use a little update/refresh with paint and small things...but I come for the food first and foremost. Seriously, give this place a shot, you won't regret it. Yum!

We had to try the Apple Pie shots since everyone seems to talk about them. This is way more complex than some apple flavor liquor. The ingredients take some prep work, and the result is something that literally tastes like apple pie. If they bottled this, I would definitely buy it. They have two specialty drinks, the Freshy and the Orange Crush, both of which are made with fresh squeezed juice squeezed right when you order. I had the Freshy which is orange or grapefruit juice with your favorite liquor. I chose grapefruit with vodka and even though I am not a huge fan of grapefruit the freshness and tartness of the drink made it quite enjoyable. My wife had the Orange Crush with Deep Eddy's O.J vodka, Triple Sec, Sprite and some of that fresh squeezed orange juice. It was nice and sweet which was good since we were ordering a lot of savory options. The Potato Skins arrived first and they were truly impressive. Good sized skins with the perfect amount of potato, not too thick or too dry and definitely homemade. They had mixed cheese, bacon and green onions served with sour cream also loaded with green onions. As far as all the potato skins I have had these were a standout. Next came the onion rings with an absolute massive serving for just eight dollars. You could tell they were homemade and served with a chili garlic sauce. The best part was the batter coating which was crispy yet didn't fall off when bent or bitten. They reheated nicely in the air fryer. Next, we tried the Toasted Raviolis which were filled with Italian sausage and served with a house made marinara. They were nice and crispy, but the true star was the marinara sauce which was thick and chunky with parmesan mixed all throughout. I wish they had more dishes that used this sauce as it was excellent. On the advice of some regulars, I tried the chicken fingers which were all breast meat, dill brined and hand battered. It was good advice since the chicken was juicy and tender with a flavorful coating. Sometimes it pays to ask. My wife ordered the thing they are known for their Philly Cheesesteak. She decided on double meat, and they were super generous to the point she looked at me and said, "I don't know how I am going to finish this!". This cheesesteak gets nominate for a lot of best of lists and I could see why. I liked that the cheese was mixed in with the meat and not just poured on top. She enjoyed it but said next time she will order it as is. This is a great place to hang out and relax and maybe catch a band or some bluegrass and enjoy a great meal!
