Always fun. Cool outside but wanted the roof top bar and even though they we wernt really set up

Our last night at Folly Beach was spent at Loggerheads. There was a really good solo musician playing great songs. My Son, his GF, and I had a seat at the bar. A Supper Cool Chick named Katie provided five star service. We had a variety of beers and mixed drinks along with numerous shots. Katie was well informed about the various mixed drinks and shots. Thanks for the great time Katie and a great way to end our vacation at FB.

Cool outside seating for large groups.

We enjoyed sitting on the patio listening to live music, which entertained us while we dealt with slow service. We started with fried calamari which was nice and fresh and then had the crab cakes which were a pretty good portion size for the price. My cousin had the coconut shrimp and she really enjoyed them. Our server Sumter took the laid back style of the south to the extreme by sitting down at our table whenever he could and would disappear for very long periods of time which made it hard to ask for things. The outside area looks like it would be good for large groups because they do have large tables, just hope that you get a good server. We were in the mood for crab cakes so it hit the spot, along with good fries.

Great outdoor patio! My family dined at Loggerheads while at Folly Beach & had a great dinner! We went during the off season in mid September so it wasn't crowded at all at 5pm (we time early with 2 littles) The food was good - I had the fish tacos. We split the key lime pie for dessert because it is my husbands fav! Service was a little slow- I think our waiter may have forgotten us at one point but we had a great time regardless.

Had a great time enjoying football Sunday here with friends. Food was delicious and service was super fast. These bartenders are quick!!! Drinks were delicious but of course since it's the beach it was pricier than expected. The deck is amazing and really enjoyed the coastal ambiance.

Had a nice lunch here on their deck, service was fantastic, although it's not the cleanest establishment. I had the fish tacos and side of potato salad, both were great. My wife had the shrimp Poboy, which she enjoyed, however, it certainly wasn't loaded with shrimp.

Seated quickly on a weekend. Was expecting fresh seafood options, but menu showed deep fried options only. Got the famous conch fritters and flounder. Sat on the top patio and enjoyed live music. Good stop for pub fare.

In town for a quick work trip. Stayed locally in this quirky little beach town. Enjoyed a great night of good beer, live music and a local vibes at Loggerheads. They have a lot of indoor and outdoor space with tvs streaming sports and views of the beach from the back deck. started with the 1/2 lb peel and eat which was fresh and delicious. For my entree I picked the flounder. It's served broiled, blackened or fried. I chose blackened, which was so good and highly recommended. Check Loggerheads out if you have a chance.

If you're looking for a fun outdoor bar atmosphere with drinks, apps, and tvs that is dog friendly in Folly Beach then this place is for you. We were in desperate need of a place for lunch on New Years Day. We walked past and heard the music so decided to stop by. Upon walking, we instantly saw a dog water bowl. We had our pup so this was great. Got seated quick There was a dj playing 90s music was which was solid. They have a bunch of tv's if you're trying to watch a football game. You can kinda see the beach underneath the hotel in front across the street. I got 2 glasses of wine, mozzerella sticks and the meatballs. Meatballs were yummy, mozz sticks were ok wish they were breaded instead of battered. Fiance loved them. Some sharks stopped by. Overall a vibe. If you're looking for something fancy this is not the place, if you need a place with a vibe. This is for you.

I ordered a Piña colada and conch fritters. The view is amazing while listening to live music.

Bar is great. Today's flounder sandwich was fried to death thin fillets on a stale bun for $18. Eat before you go.

Great good great company but pricey. The bill was extremely expensive. I would recommend this place though if you want good quality food.

The crowds were behaving themselves, the breeze was cooperative, and the smiles behind the bar were as steady as the tide. Service? Quick. Attitude? Cheerful. Decor? Pure beach--with just enough kitsch to remind you that you're exactly where you're supposed to be. I especially loved the AI-generated "Old Folly Beach" photos. They had that sepia-toned, barefoot-in-the-sand charm that makes you nostalgic for a time you probably never lived through. Clever. Fun. Conversation starters. The food came out hot and well prepared--no excuses, no shortcuts, no "it's beach food, what did you expect?" nonsense. Just solid plates done right. Sometimes the best meals aren't about linen napkins or complicated sauces. Sometimes it's quick service, honest cooking, a few laughs, and the Atlantic doing background vocals.

The bar opened at 10am. Ordered drinks... our bar drinks arrived just before our food did. No, not very busy at this time of morning. We sat outside before the heat of the day forced us all inside. 2 other tables, one leaving moments after we arrived. The view was amazing though. My eggs were ordered as over medium- they were fried hard. I like a little seepage of yolk. No rock solid, but the wait... I was afraid to send my order back.

However, the fries. OMG! They're slightly larger than shoestring, so they're the perfect size, imho. Crispy, yet thick enough to where they don't get cold right away. They also had some kind of herb on them that made them stand out. I've also gotten the Greek side salad there before and it was also outstanding...perfectly dressed with yummy feta and Kalamata olives. Finally, I've also gotten the grilled ham and cheese sandwich there during a late night visit. Basic, but perfectly executed and absolutely delicious. For a bar that's probably better known as a great music venue, this place has some serious chops when it comes to bar food. Am so glad I decided to check it out!

It's a seat yourself kind of place and with the World Cup going on, a super fun vibe, the place was about half full. The hubs and I got fish and chips and the fish was super good. The fries were cold when we got them, which was a bummer. Our SIL had to go ask for her drink after like 20 minutes, the other drinks had come so I think our server just forgot. Our SIL and brother shared the chicken parm and it was huge, plenty to share and they both said it was really good. We had to go ask again about the side of fries my 6 year old ordered because it didn't come out either, but when we finally got them nice and hot, I was bummed we had gotten the cold ones...The hot ones were yum! My other niece got chicken fingers and it's a big plate! She liked those too. We all agreed that the food was really good, better than we expected for a bar and the service was disappointing. It would've been different if it felt like she was really hustling and just had too many tables, but it was way more of a "meh..." kind of vibe. Overall, I would give this place a shot, really good food and maybe the service just had an off night.
