This was my first time visiting Vicky's and I really liked how clean and organized the inside was. I ordered some guava pastries and cafe con leche and both were delicious. You're able to order the cafe con leche with or without sugar and they served the pastries warmed up for us. Overall, had a great experience and the staff that served us were very kind!

The quality of the food is great, with pastries, sandwiches, and bread being of a unique kind, the Cuban (or Miami) kind. There is a charming environment that is tinged with diversity and lots of people speaking Spanish ONLY, and even though this happens at most ethnic eateries, it may affect your experience, especially when that extends to workers who cannot understand each other. It's funny and/or frustrating, depending on what day you are having. I can't stay away of those pastelitos though...

If I could give five stars for the ambience, cleanliness and vibe of the inside, then I would get five stars! What a beautiful, bakery and fully stocked! The restrooms were clean, and the employees were extremely friendly! Today was apparently their grand opening, which I had no clue. Anyhow, there was music playing outside and they were getting balloon arches ready for the day. I ordered a chicken empanada and guava and cheese pastry. I figured those are two things that I needed to try as any staple as basics in a cuban bakery. The empanada took two bites for me to get to the filling, and the filling was underwhelming. I was super disappointed, and I feel like it really needed some sauce. The crust of the empanada tasted as if it had been sitting there, but it was pretty early in the morning. The pastry with the guava and cheese was decent, but the cheese was focused in the center, and there was barely any guava. I wish them all of the success! I unfortunately was underwhelmed and would probably not go back. I did read the reviews about sandwiches so I opted to not try those. If I need an empanada or a pastry, I would definitely just go to you know where across the way. Anyhow, very beautiful and I wish them lots of luck!

I was shopping nearby and made my way over to wat lunch here and try them out for the first time. I was greeted when I walked in, stood to the side for a bit while deciding on what kind of sandwich I was going for. They offer several small handheld snacking foods and a selection of about eight different sandwiches. I chose the turkey and Swiss to change it up plus two quesitos and a bread pudin, for my parents and myself as I was heading their way afterwards. Tje sandwich was tasty with some deli style sliced turkey, a melted Swiss and layered with lettuce and nicely sliced fresh tomato. They did tell me where the condiments were for me to add on but I left it as is. The bread was spectacular in its crunchy exterior with the fresh taste of the dough coming through. If you had some of the bread, toasted and slathered in real butter it would be divine, I'll bet. I had my quesito and it was crunchy and good and Mami gave me a bit of the pudin to try, nice flavors and a good level of sweetness to it.

After hearing they had the best Cuban sandwich from some reviews, I had to check it out. Perhaps it was just a bad day. Sandwich was barely pressed as you can see. The problem that caused is the sandwich was cold and the cheese unmelted except on the edges. I could have asked for a new one after a few bites and realizing it, but it wasn't worth it. The bread itself is fine and not as amazing as I expected from a bakery. The roast pork was good. But the ham just felt like standard deli ham I could get out of the cold cut aisle at Walmart. So overall, for me, nothing special and I'll keep going to ZaZas across the street.

I came here on my way home on a whim. Loved the selection of goods. Everything I had was delicious. I took a star off because I wish the prices were cheaper. Getting multiple items added up fast!!

My 2 favorite Vicky Bakery locations are by the Miami International Airport, & the new one in Key Largo. My favorite items are the giant merengue cakes, and the gooey marshmallow~like soft merengue desserts. The location by the Orlando International Airport never had merengue each time I went & never the giant merengue cakes. FINALLY, I've discovered delicious gooey marshmallow~like merengues at the Waterford Lakes location. Orlando still doesn't have Cuban merengue cakes, but at least it has the soft merengues. I grew up eating Vicky Bakery, and REALLY love the offerings at the Miami Springs location. This location doesn't have all those glorious offerings, and the prices are significantly higher, but on special occasions they might offer soft merengues, and bonus: pink strawberry flavored one too!! Just missing the giant whimsical Cuban merengue cakes, and the cement model displays of them.

My partner and I ended up stopping by during their grand opening. We had a good time as the let us try various samples. We ended up getting chicken empanadas which were very good, as well as a pan de bono. I am not completely sure what they called it, but they had this dessert that I could only describe as a macaroon macron that was very good. I would definitely come back again.

Stopped in to check them out and see what pastries they have. Most of there pasties are Spanish. I was looking for something with apples. But I got chicken croquettes (sure it's spelled wrong) which was good and papas rellena. Both was good and really enjoy the potato ball stuffed with meat. Very good. Also got a cake pop. Will have to go back and try one of there sandwiches or breakfast.

They only opened a couple weeks ago and I was really impressed with the pricing and selection. From tequenos to breakfast sandwiches, it seems like they have a little bit of everything. The guy the cash register was friendly and gave us a good overview of the menu. He seemed to love his job and even recommended what the best value items are. I will be back for the breakfast sandwich coffee combo. My husband loves coffee and I love a good breakfast sandwich. The inside was clean and had plenty of seating for people who were wanting to eat in store. I like that you could either order food or just grab something quick. We'll definitely be back.

Absolutely delicious and so affordable for homemade baked goods. Tres Leche, Guava and Cream Cheese, and Dulce de Leche Cheesecake! All was delicious!!!

This is the latest location opened in Waterford Lakes. I had to stop and order a Steak Sandwich. The place is very clean, not too busy. Nice music playing. Staff were very nice. Took my order right away. The sandwich was everything I expected. I am so glad this location opened. I will be making more cafe con leche runs for sure.

We ordered two Pastelitos with meat, one iced coffee con Leche and a Cuban sandwich at 12:39pm. A few minutes later, we received the Pastelitos. I went to sit down then they called me for the coffee con leche. I asked two or three employees where my sandwich was and thank God I had the receipt because nobody printed it for the kitchen. In the meantime, I did go to the restroom and it was very clean in there, but I received my sandwich at 1:08 pm. While I was waiting, I noticed a lot of customers complaining about their orders. All of the food should've came out together not many minutes later. I know they're new, but this is basic customer service. When the kitchen gets behind people from the counter should step back there and assist. It appeared the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing.

It's not that easy to find as I didn't see a sign on the storefront except for a chalkboard outside. Perhaps they are getting a new sign? The place is very clean with neutral tones but smaller than I was expecting. There are a few small tables and then the large counter with all the goodies at the back. And there are a lot of goodies to choose from! Besides the cube shaped croissants, and one wheel croissant, there are also oblong croissants in many flavors like strawberry, pistachio, chocolate, hazelnut and more. There are also desserts in the cold case to the right and some savory items like garlic cream and hot dogs in croissant to the left. Since we were here during brunch time, I got a savory item - a garlic, cheese and ham bun - as well as a pistachio cube. My friend got the pepperoni pizza croissant. While there are lots of coffee drinks and milk teas/boba teas on the menu, I asked if they had hot tea. They said they do not, which I think is a miss. Maybe they will add that soon? Instead, I got a Mango Green Tea and my friend got a Strawberry Green Tea. Let me tell you, everything was so good! I had my garlic bun first and it was great. Then I had the pistachio cube and it was filled with a light pistachio whipped cream - delish! I'd love to come back and try their other items.

The candied pecans gave it a contrasting sugared crunch making it really addicting to eat, and the candied oranges rounded out the flavors. I hope they'll keep bringing this cookie back!

I personally prefer a softer, fluffy cake with a noticeable cocoa flavor and a tangy cream cheese frosting. Gideon's version was very different from that. The color was much more intensely red than I personally like, and I felt like I could taste the coloring. The texture of my slice also felt more wet/dense than moist and fluffy. There was plenty of frosting, but the cream cheese flavor was much more subtle than I prefer. I know this cake has a lot of fans, so I think this really comes down to style and personal preference.
