I've been here twice and both times what I've appreciated most is the efficiency of the experience. I show the stylist a picture of what I'm looking for, my hair is washed thoroughly, and then there's about 30 minutes of styling. All in all, I'm usually done in 45 minutes or less and my hair looks gorgeous. The cost of the blowout is $60 (plus tip) so it's a little luxury but it's not too wild (and still wayyy cheaper than DryBar). Will be making this my go to spot for those special occasion blowouts!

Jackie Martínez completely…read moremissed the mark on what I asked for, and the end result was so poor that it's honestly shocking--just look at the photos and judge for yourself. What's even more unacceptable is the complete lack of accountability. I emailed Jackie directly, included clear photos of the damage, and requested a refund of the $140 I paid--giving her a fair opportunity to respond and make things right. She ignored me entirely. I was never offered my money back, nor did I receive any response or apology. I then escalated the issue to the salon. While they did apologize and offered a complimentary haircut with a top stylist, by that point the trust was gone. I declined, because I should not have to risk further disappointment or spend more time fixing a mistake that never should have happened. Between the poor quality of the haircut and the total lack of professionalism and customer care, this experience was beyond frustrating--it was unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering booking with Jackie.

I've had several great stylists, but she's consistently on point every time. Watching her go from the front desk to stylist and now manager has been an amazing journey. Good job, girl--way to go! I can't stand doing my own hair, so getting the membership has been heaven-sent. I'm there at least three times a month, and it's one of the best things I've done for myself. Unfortunately, my experience has become increasingly frustrating due to inconsistent service and customer care. One of the main reasons I continued coming back was because I was allowed to bring my own curling iron, which gave me the exact style I wanted and helped ensure consistency between visits. After doing this for quite some time without any issues, I was suddenly told I could no longer use my own curling iron. The change was communicated without much explanation, and the way it was handled left me feeling like my loyalty as a long-time customer didn't matter. Beyond that, the quality of the blowouts has been very inconsistent. Some visits are great, while others leave me feeling like I wasted both my time and money. When you're paying for a professional service on a regular basis, you expect a consistent experience. As someone who spends a significant amount of money here every month and has been a dedicated customer, I expected better communication and customer service. I truly want to continue supporting Drybar, but the inconsistency and lack of consideration for loyal customers have been disappointing. I have cancelled my membership and will not be returning after today.

One of my best friends was getting married in Anaheim, and I thought to myself, I should probably get a haircut to look presentable for his pictures. The night before the wedding, I walked into The Plaza Salon because it was right next door to the venue, and there, I met Fawzeya. I asked her a million questions because I had no idea what type of cut I needed. She told me she could fit me into her schedule 2 hours before pictures. Nervously, I confirmed. When I arrived 15 minutes late (my fault), Fawzeya was nothing but super friendly and professional. She asked me how I wanted my cut, and I said "you're the pro, just make me look good please". I'm not sure of the exact number of years of experience she told me she has, but I think she told me 42 years, she must've started when she was an infant. I'm so glad that she was able to fit me into her schedule because the wedding photos were beautiful, my hair feels great, and everyone is still telling me how amazing it looks! I live in San Jose so the salon, and Fawzeya are 6 hours away in Anaheim, but next time I'm in southern California, I will surely make an appointment with Fawzeya. Thanks again!

For example, If I had an appointment on Friday at noon she would text and change it to 3pm or 5pm. This happened often. One time, I over booked appointments and I texted her if we could change the noon to 2? She texted back and stated, "I can't do it. Let's do it next week?" WOW, I waited a whole week to get my haircut. I dealt with her changing times and the one time I do it, she can't do it. Recently, I had an appointment for 5:30pm on a Tuesday. She texted me Monday night at almost 9pm and canceled stating, "Maybe next week?" It has now been 2 weeks and she is ignoring my texts and never contacted me for the haircut. I will take my $190.00 for a short haircut and color somewhere else to a place with someone that is professional.

Thank God for BlowOut Parlor. I had my makeup appointment about an hour before the shoot, and while I was there I vented about my hair disaster. Even though the salon was PACKED -- every chair occupied and every stylist busy -- they were so understanding and somehow found the time to fix my hair. Completely saved the day and my maternity photos. This week, I went back in for a little self-care and once again they did not disappoint. Jessica did a colour correction and brought my hair back to normality. But honestly just saying she did a colour correction doesn't even begin to explain the lengths she went to fixing my hair. She worked her artistry and there was just so many steps involved. And she works quickly and efficiently as well. But the best part is that she's just so nice! This was my first appointment with her and I just know that she'll be my hair stylist for the future. She absolutely earned my respect and confidence. Oh, and her prices are extremely good!
