We did encounter one error in the ordering of an out-of-stock item. I get it - things happen. How a company handles an error is what's important. I am so thankful that I came to Vic's and worked with them. Not only was the staff extremely knowledgeable about the products we were buying, but they fit our budget and helped us find the best prices for what we were doing. Elle has been one of the best people to work with, but truly, so is all of their staff. She has taken so much time helping us match the finish we wanted across the different manufacturers and has stayed on top of lead times so we are running our project smoothly. I recently purchased a Shaw kitchen sink and faucetts from Vics. I had been to LA & Thousand Oaks, etc..(Ferguson, Universal and WDC) searching for items for a kitchen remodel. Vics had what we were looking for and at better prices than other establishments. Their customer service was outstanding! Went into Vics Plumbing mid day today looking at free standing bathtubs for our beautiful home we are remodeling three of the four bathrooms. I called ahead of time. Was told they have several types of freestanding bathtubs. We were interested in the solid surface material. Saleswoman approached us almost seem like she didn't want to sell anything to us. Kept trying to talk us out of the material that we wanted and going more for the acrylic. She even told us she only had one or two solid surface bathtubs. Yet we found several when we let her know she must have made a mistake. She still denied it and then eventually admitted that she was wrong that they do have several that was the first issue. Then she came back over to see how we were doing and asked us immediately having some sticker shock???? What was that supposed to mean? I just purchased a several million dollar home and she's asking me if I have sticker shock in regards to a freestanding bathtub. That's the least of it lady. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. She was someone who had no interest in really selling anything to us. We couldn't wait to get out of there. We will be Just going online and ordering our own freestanding bathtub for our contractor to install. It's really sad we have had such a great experience through this entire process of remodeling our home with all the vendors except attempting to stay local and this is how we get treated at Vics. Go somewhere where you feel welcome and they are as excited as you are with this entire remodeling process. read more

Vic's has been my "go to" plumbing store since...well, since before I needed a plumbing store. I used to go there 50 years ago with my grandfather when Vic's was on Thompson Blvd, and was run by Vic! The store has moved, and the store is run by Vic's sons now. They have a huge display area with all the high end bathroom stuff you can imagine, but the service still feels as personal as when it was a cramped shop run by Vic and his wife all those years ago. I just went in yesterday searching for a lowly faucet seat to fix a leaky faucet, and one of the owners searched for 20 minutes till he found what I needed (a $1 item). The back area of the store has at least one of just about any plumbing item you can think of. It is where I always go when I need plumbing supplies. They are always able and willing to walk through a plumbing problem with you and make suggestions to help you solve a problem. They also have very competitive prices on high ticket fixtures, tub, toilets etc. They can help with any type of bathroom or kitchen remodel. In this age of impersonal big box stores it is nice to know that there are still places like Vic's . Family run, personnel service at its best. read more

Seriously worst experience you can imagine. I've used them on our last major remodel in another house and that experience wasn't bad. Something has changed. We have had horrible customer service, no returned emails, calls back are almost impossible to get. Mike has been horrible to work with. He makes promises he doesn't deliver, he blamed my wife for picking out a tub spout that wouldn't work with our valve. He ordered the wrong rough in valve for our tub filler, very expensive tub filler. We then floated and tiled and had counter put in and then it doesn't work. He said our plumber should be able to figure it out. After spending $500 or so trying to make it work I've know told him to get someone to do it. First response was I should just tear out the tile and counter or maybe the drywall in the adjacent room to install the right set up. We have a custom home, you don't just rip out floated tile work and a piece of counter that runs through your shower glass. He still hasn't had it fixed, we are months in now just on this part. Everything he ordered took twice as long to get as promised, several times he said we had approved parts we never were told we had options on. We did two bathrooms with them, to the tune of around $8000 for fixtures. I just can't tell you how sad this experience has been. The salesgirl didn't respond to emails, Mike doesn't respond to emails. These are emails in a chain, they claim they never received them. You try to call and they don't even have call waiting so half the time it's a busy signal. I would strongly encourage you to go elsewhere for your stuff. Not to mention that if you buy your rough in stuff from them you are stuck with them and their pricing for the finish trim later. Please, please take caution in dealing with these guys. First pic will be of the standing tub filler, the one Mike said I should just rip everything out. Second pic will be the tub filler we are stuck with after one of his screw ups (blamed my wife for not knowing it would mess up our valve and our plumber had to call them on it - after taking 6 months to get the wrong one in). Next pics will be the other items we got from them, you can see we didn't ask for discount. Ok, here's an update: Mike sent out Joe from Channel Island Plumbing to work on the valve that was wrong. Joe did a good job and actually made it work, Vics paid the bill. I'll give them credit for that, I had to get pretty upset to make that happen after 6 months but Joe did save the day. I wish they had taken action and been more responsive earlier but thankfully they made this right. I'm still waiting on the correct Tun filler, hopefully Mike gets that to me someday. Few weeks later, finally got an email back from Mike stating the tub filler has been ordered, sheesh. read more

I went to Vic's with pictures of my broken kitchen faucet in hopes of identifying the model and buying replacement parts. They were very rushed and told me that it would be too difficult to identify from my photos (high-resolution including all markings), and suggested that I bring the faucet for them to match. Not super friendly, but understandable - I let that slide. Deciding to purchase new, I headed to the showroom and selected a faucet they had in stock. At $375 it was below their average price but a quality that I could afford. The salesperson brought out a very worn looking taped-up box - clearly a previous return. I was a little reluctant and suggested that it might be a return and not complete or in showroom quality. Oh no, she answered, this is new and not a return. She grudgingly opened it, and on quick inspection I saw some sealed bags and assumed that Vic's was to be trusted, so made the purchase. On arriving home, I saw that the rigid supply tube was bent, probably by a previous purchaser. I was a little annoyed at having to return for what was clearly their mistake (reselling a clearly damaged product), especially after pointing it out to sales and thus giving them another chance to ensure that it was ready for resale. She gruffly offered to exchange for another box with no acknowledgement of our conversation hours earlier. Premium, trustworthy customer service, this was not. While processing the return I heard her say something under her breath to her coworker about price shopping at Amazon, thinking that I was standing far enough away. I appreciate the difficulty of competing against Amazon, but that wasn't what I was doing. I appreciate local expertise and service, and I've since decided to buy the same faucet across town at a competing store (same price). Honesty and respect are rewarded. Every time I have gone to Vic's Plumbing I have received excellent service. This is true for the showroom as well as the back where the parts are sold. Recently I worked with Steve Sachs to purchase all new plumbing for two bathrooms. He was extremely knowledgeable in helping me pick out styles, quality fixtures and worked within my budget. It might cost a little more than your large box store but the service and the quality of the products are worth it! read more

Steve Sachs provided me some of the greatest customer service I ever have received! The store is upscale and has a nice showroom. Many of the items are a little pricey, but when it comes to buying certain things -- like toilets, which cost $250 to install -- it sometimes does not make sense to "cheap out" on items when an extra $150 buys you a much higher quality product you use every day. He hustled and got me a high-quality toilet that I needed immediately, and they had it in stock. Steve has been very patient, knowledgeable and kind to me with inquiries since then, so for the superior customer service, I give Vic's a "five" rating. read more

We ordered plumbing fixtures for bathtub, shower and sink in early April. We are still yet to receive them (it is August 27). We were completely pushed aside because we were kind and understanding. They made zero effort to give us exact dates or put us in touch with company with which they acquire the parts. If I could give zero stars I would. It was disheartening to not be able to use our remodeled bathroom and with a large family being down to one restroom for 5 months is unacceptable. We called recently and were told that we "may" have them in September. All the while, not once offering any compensation for this horrific inconvenience and lack of customer service. To add insult to injury the person who originally sold us the parts was fired and the other representatives still passed us along to his voicemail the entire time. read more

Had a difficult high end pedestal sink plumbing issue that no other supply company seemed to understand. Went to Vic's on a referral and was immediately taken care of as soon as I walked in the door. Andy at Vic's is the BEST! He went above and beyond the call of duty. After our plumber made some mistakes installing our shower fixtures I called and spoke with Andy, who offered to Facetime with us, so he could see what the problem was. He was able to figure it out! The plumber installed the wrong parts, so I went to Vic's and Andy GAVE me the correct parts, then Facetimed with us again while we were installing them to make sure it was done correctly! So happy with the service and would definitely recommend Andy at Vic's. read more

I went in looking for plumbing fixtures for the upcoming renovation of our kitchen and 2 bathrooms. I asked which would be good plumbing lines to look at because the possibilities can be a bit overwhelming. The salesperson told me several times "I just have no idea what to show you because everything is taking so long to get". I reassured the salesperson that I wasn't in a huge rush and just wanted to get the best quality fixtures for our project. It didn't seem like they cared to sell anything or help in any way. I pushed forward, because I do need the plumbing fixtures, and found my way around. I picked some fixtures and asked for a price quote. I was told the quote would be emailed to me and that I should expect a long wait for any fixtures right now. It has been a few weeks and I never received a quote. In the meantime, I found the same fixtures online and was surprised to find that everything was in stock and shipped immediately to my house. I'm not quite sure how this place survives. I would prefer to support local businesses but I honestly don't think the salesperson there wanted the business. read more

Vic's is a wonderland of stylish sinks, faucets, toilets--any fixture that involves water. It's also a plumbing parts store that stocks pretty near anything a plumber or homeowner could want. Their service is amazing. I went in looking for a small plastic drain part that Vic's didn't stock. Instead of selling me an entire drain stopper, Andy called the supplier and asked him to mail the part directly to me. For free. Of course I came back for something more expensive and will shop at Vic's when we finally get around to a kitchen remodel. Honestly I think that Vic's is the best. They are family owned and operated and provide excellent customer service. I recently (about a year or so ago) remodeled two bathrooms...we came to vics for all of our supplies (bathtub, shower heads, etc). Andy helped us and went above and beyond what we could ask for in customer service. The tub we bought is so amazing, and has withstood a lot! Wow, such an amazing company ! I went into Lowe's to get a piece to my kitchen faucet that was no longer working and just wanted to replace that part because I cannot buy a whole new faucet right now. Lowe's didn't have anything but they referred me to Vic's and I am so glad they did. When I got there I was immediately helped and although they didn't have what I was looking for they took a look at the part and fixed my broken nozzle... FOR FREE !!!! Granted it was only a small part but I was willing and expecting to pay for their time and the part and they said not to worry about it. Sadly, we are disappointed in the customer care response of Vic's to a recent purchase. We have purchased fixtures from Vic's Plumbing for many years and been satisfied. However, we purchased 2 Icera Riose 1 piece toilets last fall. The removable toilets seats snapped on to the toilet. They never were secure and stable. They moved around. We contacted a Salesperson who told us it was probably poor installation. Our contractor verified it was installed properly. We contacted Vic's a second time and the salesperson said she would contact the manufacturer and call us. We've never heard from them again. Emails to Icera USA, w copies sent to Vic's, have not addressed our issues either. We do not recommend this model of Icera toilets and are disappointed with Vic's customer care with this issue. read more

Great selection and very knowledgeable staff. Prices are higher than elsewhere but that's to be expected with this level of service. One glaring problem, they don't bother to mention that they are not an authorized dealer for some of the brands they sell. I had a warranty issue with an item and was told I would have to contact the mfr. directly. The best they could do was offer to SELL me another unit like the failed one and then give me a refund if I brought them an unopened factory replacement after dealing with the manufacturer. I guess I was foolish to expect premium service after paying a premium price. read more
