But it has come to my attention that the owner of this business (Tommy) has CONTINUED to sexually harass their clients. SO here is what happened to me in 2020: They were only taking one-on-one appointments due to COVID regulations. At the time I was 22 years old. His wife and daughter were in the business towards the back of the business in a room so it was just me and him in the main lobby on a pedicure chair. I had scheduled to do a manicure and pedicure. It started off with a regular manicure and pedicure and his weird comments began. Comments as in "you look so much younger than your age because of how small and petite your body is" -- the comments continued "you have really nice hands and really nice feet" -- they continued, "you are gonna look young for a very long time since you are small and have such a nice body" then the routine of a massage on the feet and calves began (this was normal and expected) THEN his hands traveled up my legs into my inner thighs and then to my shoulders and chest area..... I COMPLETELY FROZE. Up to this day I wish I would have reacted differently but I shut down. I felt completely and utterly paralyzed and in shock!!! It's been years later and I still reflect on how I should have spoken up and reacted differently. One of the most uncomfortable experiences of my life. I truly hope this business shuts down!! that his wife wakes up that her husband is a COMPLETE CREEP, and that should have NEVER happened to anyone!!! I have never received a massage like that in my life just for pedicure!! IT WAS AWFUL AND MADE ME SO UNCOMFORTABLE!!!

Most salons have to be told exactly how to do it, but I get there and explain we are donating my daughter's beautiful long hair and she knew just what to do. She has done it with her own girls before and sent it to Locks for Love. We will be doing the same. Please go see Sanat if you have any last minute needs, but especially if you want to donate your hair. Very reasonable too. Just be sure to take cash though. I had a specific inspo for how I wanted my nails to look, and she helped me find the right color and was really patient through the whole process. I'm honestly pretty picky about who does my nails, I'll even look through their work before booking, so I was a little nervous going in. She was really gentle when doing my nails which I really appreciate since I've been nicked before at a different nail salon and pretty much got ptsd from that lol.
