Have really good food and the service is great, once you get seated! Getting seated may be a problem when busy. They are very disorganized when clearing tables. They have no one dedicated to busing tables. Dishwasher is supposed to do it when she has time. When they are not busy she has time but no direction. When they are busy she doesn't have time and no else does either. So you wait! Lot of staff at times, but no direction. Need to put some priority on moving customers through the restaurant. Someone needs to be in charge. Need more room. Knock out the inner wall. Have longer hours. Should have dinner service. read more

My husband and I stopped for lunch today, and I had the cheeseburger with potato salad. This was one of the best cheeseburgers I have had in many years. It was perfect, size, taste, everything. I ordered it with lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, mayo, and mustard. When it came, the mustard and ketchup were dripping over the side together--perfect. The potato salad was also very good and stood up well with the cheeseburger with a bit of sweetness. It's just a perfect cheeseburger all around. I will definitely be back. read more

We're here for a few days and asked for a good recommendation for lunch. This was one of two with a larger selection. I was not disappointed. I saw grilled pimento cheese sandwich. I'd just heard about this delicacy and ordered it with a side of cucumber salad and deviled eggs. My husband ordered the cold plate and when I saw it I almost wished I'd ordered that. Still both selections tasted heavenly and worth trying. I can't wait to come back tomorrow for another grill pimento cheese sandwich. First time at Victoira's for lunch and it was delicious! I went all fried today, well, because I can. Ha! I had the pork chop plate with onion rings and fried squash and it came with a piece of Texas toast. The pork chop was lightly breaded and fried just right and the squash and onion rings were from frozen, but fried perfectly and very good. Lots of food for the $7.99 price tag and I enjoyed every bite. Hubby had the grilled chicken sandwich on toast with tater tots and it was a nice size chicken breast and he said he would order it again. They are open until 2:30 on Saturday serving lunch...plenty of options to go back and sample something else! read more

Left quite disappointed today. Not much was right with my breakfast other than the same fantastic and pleasant wait staff. Eggs over medium were eggs over very easy and still runny and Luke warm. Grits were cold and clumpy. They did bring me a fresh bowl after I mentioned it. The crisp hash browns were a little too crisp (maybe my fault for requesting) but also cold. The sausage was only thing warm. The bacon was cold. I feel like my plate was just sitting there in the kitchen. My wife and sons food was warm. They forgot out toast at first - finally came. They forgot my sons eggs and bacon - finally came. Let's hope this was a one time bad day. read more

I've past by Victoria's Diner a few times and they claim to have the Best Country Cooking in Town. Today we'll do breakfast and test that theory. I sat myself and a cup of coffee was right behind me. My waitress was friendly and immediately took my order. I ordered what they called The Deep Fried Steak and Eggs hoping it was what I call a Chicken/Country Fried Steak. It was just that and looked mighty tasty. But...It wasn't. The eggs and hashbrowns were fine but the predominate flavor on the Deep Fried Steak was the Oil that it was fried in. That oil was all up in the breading as well, very greasy. Maybe that had to do with the temp of the oil but it tasted like the oil needed to be changed out as well. The people were so friendly and they wouldn't hardly let a coffee get half empty so it pains me to give a 2 star review but the food I had today deserves it. Best Country Cooking in Town? We were required to wear a mask upon entry. Don't know why. Victoria's Diner is business as usual with absolutely no regard to the public's health and safety with Covid going on. Every table was in use, no social distancing with tables like most restaurants. I wanted to leave but we ended up staying. Both with our mask on except when eating. Place was packed (good for them) but not good for us and everyone in there. Elderly people sat w/in a foot of us. Shame on you for not taking this virus seriously. Shots are coming.
