f Her wine dinners have been the source of much of the wine in our cellar. She know most of her customers and greets them personally. The food is always good and satisfying. She is willing to modify a plate if needed, e.g. double-bacon Quiche Lorraine, with and without crust. A big pleaser. Her other specialties never leave us unhappy. Small, quaint restaurant with less than 40 seats in the whole joint. Took over a minute to be acknowledged at door, but service was good. They'll ask if you've made reservations even if there are seats open at the bar and dining room. Handwritten daily menu handed to you with regular menu. Desserts posted on the chalkboard on the north wall, above booth seats. In-house made key lime pie recommended: good balance of tart, sweet and smooth consistency. Dishes were very eye-appealing. Restrooms decent, but needed some tidying that night we visited. Perfect for a "first appointment" for couples. Not recommended for families with young kids. Overall, would recommend this place and would come back to try main entrees and wine. read more

The food was good but the way we were treated. We will not go back. They do not take reservations so I walked in saidcwe need table for 5. They accommodated, but since I got there first and after I had a glass of wine delivered. I was asked if my partycead coming soon because they weren't supposed to seat me until everyone was there. I was about 5 minutes early so the rest of the girls were on there way. Felt the owner staring at me and made me very uncomfortable so I also ordered an Appetizer. Then after sr Spending 255.00 plus a 60.00 tip. We were basically asked to leave because someone was waiting for our table. This is even though they don't take reservations. We still had wine in our glasses and had just finished a dessert. I won't be bum rushed out of a restaurant after spending that kind if money and none of us will be back. Its a shame because it's a cute place. Learn to treat your customers with more professionalism. You just lost 4. read more

Side note about our visit: Found it funny that some people are still wearing masks when going from the door to their table. Then take it off at the table. You are pretty much elbow to elbow in there. The place is tiny. You are literally closer to other people at your table than you are walking to your table. The government once said to do this, so many mindless people still do it without thinking for themselves how silly it is. You can't have a private conversation in this place. I heard everything the people to our side said. Anyways... They give you a tiny glass of water when asked. You are afraid to drink too much in fear you might run out when you need it later. Who knows when the waitress will be back to fill it again.They push drinks, soup, salad, and appetizers on you. Girlfriend tried ordering whitefish cause it's her favorite. She has been here before. They didn't have it. The people to our immediate left and right elbow also tried to order the whitefish. I guess it must be good. They try giving you salmon instead. She got the beef tenderloins instead, which were rubbery. There was also a rather large boiled onion on her plate. Nothing on it not seared. Just boiled? Weird. I tried her meal. The beef was yes rubbery. The gravy was different but pretty good. The mashed potatoes were good. I don't like mushrooms so I didn't try those. I think it cost $28 way too expensive especially for the low quality. I got the Mac n cheese. It was pretty good, but $15 for a rather small bowl of Mac n cheese is rather outrageous. I don't eat a ton and was still hungry after I was done. We went to Achatz pie to get dessert after so we could feel full. 2 people could easily drop $100 at this place if you get 2 drinks. Not worth it. I won't be coming back unless my girlfriend makes me. If you want the whitefish I would recommend calling first. They should also tell you they are out of something when you are being seated. Apparently it's their signature dish. It's like going to a burger joint and they don't mention they are out of burgers until you order. read more

This place is a gem of Oxford. Newly renovated, opened for takeout and now they have online ordering! Their food is so good that by the time I remembered to take a picture, were had already enjoyed all of our dinner. Visited Victoria's last night for the French Autumn dinner with wine paring. Phenomenal!! Each course was presented and described by Chef Victoria as was each wine pairing. The food was excellent with each course, there were 6 of them, better than the previous one. The salted caramel crepe was the perfect finish.. The wine paired perfectly with the food and was priced in various ranges. Definitely on the list to do a special event dinner again as well as a visit to sample the regular menu, Also, it was our Anniversary so Victoria gifted us a proseco toast. Nice touch. read more

The food was excellent the cocktails were excellent and the service was excellent! It is a small intimate place with only around 8 or 10 tables, and the bar. The interior says French Bistro. They have an excellent list of cocktails. I would say they have a creative and tasty cocktail menu. They also have a good wine list. My wife had the crepes trio, and they were hands down the best crepes we had ever tasted. It included a seafood crepe with béchamel, a chicken and asparagus crepe and a beef with a mushroom Demi glacé which was awesome they paired with haricot verts (young green beans) cooked Al dente! They were perfect. I had the Chicken Special. The chicken was spot on not undercooked but juicy and tender not dried out it was served with wild mushrooms and a sherry mushroom sauce that was cravable it too was served with haricot verts and mashed potatoes. For desert we had a slice of key lime pie which was also excellent. It's hard to find really good French Cuisine nowadays in metro Detroit and Victorias Delight is a really gem. read more

HUGE win for your ratatouille recipe in Provence last night. Last winter my wife and I attended a wine tasting and Vicki gave out her recipe for ratatouille. This week we are in Provence and are staying in a guest house on a vineyard. My wife made the ratatouille and we served it to our host Annemarie, one of the vineyard owners. She said "I really enjoyed that ratatouille. It has been a long time since I had such a good one." Good enough for a French farmer, great for us! THANK YOU! It was outstanding! read more

I am really surprised at the reviews but it may have been a bad day when we went. Had the Chicken Crepes and it was so salty, I couldn't finish it. One of my friends got the triple crepes and she said the seafood one was horrible and the other two were so salty, she left most of them on her plate. The server did offer to get us something else but, If the Chef is heavy handed with salt.....what would be any different with something else. My husband and I tried Victorias for the first time a few weeks ago. It's defiantly small and fills up quickly. The waitress was helpful on the wine selection, but that was about it. My husband ordered the "large scallops" with minimal rice and extra vegetables because he's diabetic. The scallops were anything but large and was served on a large bed of rice with minimal veggies. I had the tuna which was tasty and as described. Both plates were specials so no soup/salad were offered - just bread. Another issue if you're diabetic. Large price, small food portions and my husband leaving hungry, I doubt we will return. read more

DELISH! After moving to the area, one of my new girlfriends recommended meeting up here for a Saturday power hour.... what is power hour you ask? The best hour of the day on Saturday! From 10-11, they have $3 mini mimosas and bloody Mary's to wash down the best eggs benedict on the planet (the only way they could make it better is if they added a crab cake... but that is personal preference!)! The eggs benedict was only $5. We sampled both the prosciutto and the spinach.... I would take the prosciutto any day of the week! The waitress was very pleasant and attentive but not overly so. She told us about all of the specials and upcoming events. That is how we can for our second visit! Tuesday is $10 crepe nights with 1.2 carafe for $10! hubby ordered the chicken/asparagus and the beef/mushroom while I ordered the seafood and the steak/mushroom. The fresh, warm bread that starts out your meal is crusty on the outside, melt on your tongue on the inside. The salad was out of this world! Hubby had a soup which he did not want to share! The crepes were very delicate and delicious..... We started our meal with the white wine (not moscato) and followed it up with the Cab (which wasn't very good!). This cafe offered a great location in a cute part of town. Cozy interior and cute decoration. The service was outstanding and food was delicious. My family and I went (large party of 19) for brunch and everything was perfect! The quiche is perfection! Also everyone who ordered the French toast didn't leave any left over. It was sweet and delicious. The red skins (aka potatoes) also quite tasty. On Wednesday 10am - 11am was "power hour" with mimosas and Bloody Mary drinks priced special at $3. We sat at the bar since the place was packed - it's very small so make reservations or be prepared to wait. It was OK as we were taken care of by James - great guy that really knows his stuff. The menu changes often based on what's available. There are staple items but it's always fun to try the specials. Ahi taco and wild mushroom/steak crepe (both were sooooo good) appetizer later and we were ready for dinner. :) I had the pan seared skate (like a sting ray) and my wife had the NY Strip. Both were fabulous - prepared perfectly. Desserts - all made from scratch. We had key lime pie and chocolate/peanut butter tart - again fabulous. If I could, I would give Victoria's a 6. Definitely recommend. Like I said, though, make a reservation if on the weekend as its a very small place. read more

We got there 15 minutes early for our dinner reservation and the manager allowed us to sit in a window seat, very nice man. Our server, Heidi, was really good too. I love to take a day off during the week and come here with my wife. The menu constantly changes while retaining some standard dishes. The atmosphere is pleasant bistro style with the brunch crowd composed mainly of women. I particularly like the sampler with a savory crepe (beef or chicken, both are wonderful...my wife likes the seafood), a slice of quiche, and salad. I generally accompany this with a nice dry Riesling and the bread pudding. My wife is more adventurous and often tries the specials. Darn good food with a gourmet twist in a part of northern Oakland County without much of either. The whitefish is a sure thing, very consistently delicious. The scallop special was good.
