Another wonderful night at Victoria's! Such a beautiful place to celebrate special occasions! The food was amazing! Lisa, our server, was on point with all her recommendations. From the wine, specials to dessert! Could not ask for a more wonderful experience! Ambience for a romantic evening exceptional!

It was alright. The food was not bad by any means but it was nothing special. The shrimp were cooked well but the sauce with them was very odd and not typical cocktail sauce and very watery. The lobster omelette was something I was quite excited for and had a good amount of lobster however it was borderline tasteless? It needed a lot more seasoning. The service was good and quick, you could definitely tell the food was in the back just waiting to be served as it was brought out incredibly quickly after we finished each course. The service was good and honestly the best part of the experience. While their brunch is a good deal I can't say that we will be back.

Refer to my prior review of the Boardwalk Plaza hotel. This was our first time visiting this hotel and Victoria's Restaurant located in the Boardwalk Plaza hotel in early December. You can enter the restaurant from the boardwalk or the left rear side of the hotel's lobby. We reserved a 11:30 am brunch/lunch reservation via telephone for the five of us including our friends on a Sunday brunch/lunch in December. The hostess took us to our table. We were seated on the upper level overlooking the ocean. We had a nice view of the ocean. They offer a special bunch/lunch discounted menu. I started with and enjoyed my bloody Mary for $5. I also enjoyed my brunch specialty Lobster Roll with lobster, lettuce, tomato, lemon-dill aioli and brioche roll with hand cut fries for $20. I ended my lunch with a glass of champagne also for $5. Since we were here just prior to Christmas, Santa and his wife Mrs. Claus stopped by to say hello and take a pic of our table with them in the pic. Experienced Lisa served us very well. Lisa also took the pic of our table. My share of the bill was $70 excluding gratuity. We agreed we will return here again for brunch, lunch or dinner.

This is such an adorable restaurant located right on the boardwalk! I went with two other women for afternoon tea. Please note to enjoy the tea experience, you need to book ahead of time. The tea selection was great- had six options I think, and each person gets their own cute little teapot (that holds at least three cups of tea) and it's served with sugar cubes which is always fun. It also comes with little sandwiches and various finger food desserts to munch on. Honestly the sandwiches were good but I wish you could select your flavors. Unfortunately, I'd be shocked if they made the desserts. I think the crème puffs were from the container you can buy at giant, as is the petty fours, and the madeleine but they were good anyway. The inside itself is decorated so well and service was great - everyone was super kind.

I've had FANTASTIC experiences here, along with some whomp whomp experiences. Food overall: good! Location: can't be beat! Service is where it gets twisted. I've had some really good service here and then at other times, I was completely blown away with how bad the service was. One time specifically comes to mind when our food was brought out and the waitress asked "do you need anything else?" and I responded "yes, can I please have some hot sauce whenever you have a moment?" and she audibly SIGHED and said yeah, I'll get it. I was SHOCKED, then chuckled after she left, because is your day REALLY going that badly? She didn't return, and I asked another waiter who politely and quickly served up some hot sauce. The second waiter also gave us our bill, weird! I am sure I'll be back, it's close by and like I said, the food is good. Lowered service expectations moving forward!

Right on the boardwalk in the Boardwalk Plaza hotel. The restaurant is an homage to the Victorian age with loads of old English touches. It's a lively, (noisy) place with a great vibe. Wine special was a bottle of Rose from Provence for $34. Yes please. We started with crab dip and the bang bang shrimp. The crab was creamy and loaded with crab. The shrimp was crispy with a wonderful Thai chili sauce. Crab cakes were absolutely delicious and huge. We finished with a short rib flatbread. I'd eat a plate of the pickled onions by themselves, sooo good. The shredded short ribs have a fig bbq sauce that is killer. This was a great treat. We will definitely stop again when in town.

    Kent room set up

Outstanding for wedding: we had a small 15 person wedding reception in Kent room (could have larger one by using both banquet rooms) view of ocean. Amazing food, all guests commented on quality of food. Highlights were the scallops/bacon appetizer, entree duck, but all entrees excellent. Service was top notch! Lesley, the events planner left no detail behind. A true professional! I can't say enough praise. I had the cottage to get ready before hand. Ceremony steps away on beach. All for surprisingly good value on costs!

From the concrete jungles of NYC to the shores of Rehoboth Beach, MD; it's been a day. We went to dinner at Victoria's Restaurant inside the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel right on the beach. It was an interesting restaurant. The hotel's lobby and restaurant decor and atmosphere is a mish-mash of the US Victorian Era and the 1930's Big Band era...Like someone watched The Gilded Age on HBOMax and tried to recreate it without HBOMax's budget. But on to the food... We started with the Cream of Crab soup. Thick and creamy with big chucks of lump crab meat. It was a nice start. For the entree, I got the Catch of the Day: a pan seared Rockfish topped with lump crab meat and a Sherry cream sauce. It's served with haricot verts, roasted red peppers, and a mushroom rice pilaf. The rockfish was delicious. Tender and hearty whitefish, a nice salty crust on the sear, and the sauce was nice. Haricot verts were snappy. However, the mushroom rice pilaf was so so bland. Especially in comparison to the flavor of the fish. A disappointing side player. Overall, it's a touristy spot with a great view of the beach and a solid rockfish special. Oh, and yes, that is an actual gray parrot on the cash register giving me the stink eye.

Is there nearby handicap parking? We have been wanting to visit for Brunch for quite some time, but are concerned about the parking situation.

I want to say there's handicapped parking right by the door, but you still need to wind through the place to get to the dining room and there might be a mini elevator to bypass stairs to the lower level. My Mom's walker got hung up on one or more… Read more

The decor was simple and not over the top "oceany" as some tourist traps. I saw they were inland which I like. I try to avoid the neon wharf spots and I was so happy. I sat at the bar, which was full of welcoming locals and a tired traveling clown (me). The gravelly-voiced owner of I thing third generation paused a few times between sending out trays of steaming crab. He was a perfect blend of warm-hearted welcoming and hard-bitten tyrant. I went for the all you can eat feast at $69 (prices always subject to change) which comes with fries, hush puppies and coleslaw. I was assured the sizes were running large and it wasn't just a line. I was happy with the mediums. All I can say is they do crab RIGHT here. Fresh steamed ONCE so the meat is incredibly moist and succulent. And they just kept coming in trays of four. I ended up having a dozen which made it a deal at $69 compared at the price of a dozen à la carte. But who cares?!? They are blue crabs steaming and fresh and it was a feast. Side dish commentary: the fries are excellent. None of this cardboard tasting shoestrings. They were thick cut with skin on! The hush puppies classically tasty and the Cole slaw was not over dressed. Bonus!!! I can't wait to go back and try the she-crab soup and the bread pudding (highly recommend by my neighbor at the bar who is a local restaurateur).

We had to wait a while but there was plenty of seating outside which was better than some of the places we ate. We got lucky and were seated at a table at the railing overlooking the street. It's always interesting to people watch. While our waitress was attentive - she was too much so. Our food took forever to come out and she kept checking in and asking if we needed anything. The only thing we needed was our food - and maybe an ETA on when it might arrive. Fortunately, we did have our cell phones and the people on the street to keep us entertained. Also, the sea gulls are VERY aggressive and we watched one eat some leftover food off the table next to us. So I had limited options on the menu (Healthy) and ended up getting the steak salad. Hubby got the burger. Neither should have taken that long to prepare but we were told the kitchen was backed up. My salad was very good with a very generous amount of steak on it. And the steak was perfectly done - still a bit red inside. I would have liked it really red but I know they can't do rare. SO I was just happy to have the red I did. And while it was chewy as heck, it had good flavor and I didn't expect it to melt in my mouth. I would totally order this meal again. Hubby was underwhelmed with the burger. It was rather sad and small looking. But in the grand scheme of things, it was fine - but just OK. I'm guessing he would not order it again. We got our check and paid in decent time once we finished eating. Overall I think the location and ambiance made up for the poor service (food taking way too long) and sad meal for the hubby. Also, the pricing was not insane as we encountered elsewhere which also made it quite acceptable. I would lightly recommend if location matters more than service food.
