This was our first time here. We were here for Sunday happy hour at the bar at 4 PM with my family and friends or a party of six. We were the first customers to enter at 4 PM so we had a choice of our bar stools. We chose the six bar stools around the corner of the bar.[[HIGHLIGHT]]The padded bar stools with backs were very comfortable for our women.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar is mostly made of dark wood so it is a little dark in appearance, which is fine for me, but some of our women were not as happy with the darkness.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I started with and enjoyed my Purple Rain with aged rum, berry puree, lime and ginger beer for $10. After that I enjoyed my Blushing Basil, vodka, basil simple, strawberry puree and prosecco also for $10. I enjoyed both cocktails equally. I shared and enjoyed three roasted chicken wings in Buffalo orange sauce, pickled vegetables, jalapenos and blue cheese for $12. I prefer blue cheese over ranch. My chicken wings were very moist, which I prefer. My chicken wings were mildly spicy from the jalapenos. I also enjoyed my happy hour seafood paella with chorizo, shrimp, baby scallops, rice in a fresh tomato saffron broth for $22. I ended my dinner with my favorite pint of draft Guinness, which was $2 off or only $5. My total bill was $95 excluding gratuity. Bartender Skylar R. served all of us very well considering we were not regular customers, but first timers to visit. I will return here again for happy hour.

For a beach steak house, this place was disappointing. Filet Mignon was not worthy of $58 price tag. My son's steak was crazy well done. The brussel sprouts were the biggest disappointment. They were steamed and tough to eat. We ate one and stopped. Seems lazy of the chef to not pan fried with some char. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No wonder the restaurant was totally empty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Delmonico Steak

We started with the $10 bread service, which should set the tone at a restaurant positioning itself as premium; instead, the bread was dry and barely edible. The oysters were fine--fresh enough and, as most diners know, hard to mess up--so no complaint there. The Delmonico steak ($135) was marketed to us as a special by our server as 32oz and bone-in (I'm still confused who serves a $135 steak with onion rings on top?). We ordered it medium-rare, but it came out rare, which is a basic miss for a cut that's supposed to be the star of the meal. We added a crab cake as a supplement, and it was cold in the center, another straightforward preparation issue (especially considering we're in Bethany Beach... this is where Crab Cakes should shine!!!). The Brussels sprouts were the only item at our table without a complaint; they were properly cooked and seasoned. Our check came to roughly $270, including tip, which felt absurd for the quality delivered. That pricing might make sense if the kitchen consistently nailed fundamentals, but our meal didn't meet that standard. The restaurant advertises humidity-controlled storage for USDA Prime steaks--a detail that implies precision and care--yet the kitchen failed to cook our steak to the requested temperature. Careful storage and premium sourcing are irrelevant if execution on the line doesn't follow through; a rare steak when medium-rare is requested, and a cold-center crab cake, are not nitpicks but essential issues. At this price point, diners reasonably expect accurate temps, hot food served hot, and clarity in labeling, especially for a flagship steak. To be clear, our server, Lisbeth, was lovely--professional, friendly, and attentive throughout (I leave it for another day to discuss being gaslit that my steak was indeed medium rare). My concerns are squarely with kitchen execution and the overall value proposition. I want to see this place succeed, and the path forward seems simple: cook steaks to the requested temperature, verify hot items are hot before they leave the pass, and ensure the menu clearly communicates what's being served--particularly on bone-in weights for premium cuts. Focus on cooking to temp before premium add-ons and steak-program talking points. If those basics are tightened up, the price and the marketing might finally align with the experience.

Great food for my birthday celebration. The seafood was so fresh and the sauces to die for. We got steamed clams and Seafood Stew and Seafood Spaghetti. Great! Also the cheesecake for my birthday dessert was light and fluffy. Definitely a must visit if in Bethany!

Shout out to Harvest Tide Steakhouse Restaurant & their Thursday $19.99 Filet Night & half price bottle of wine special! It was outstanding! Mom & Dad both said this was one of the best steaks they've had in a long time. Beautiful dining room & outstanding service by Skylar, Manager & owner? the warm & talented Donna, friendly bartender Austen and jocular host Chris. Great value! Filet is usually $57. We've got my nephew in town tomorrow & definitely will go back! My only negative, the dehydrated lemons looked super cool, but didn't really offer much in flavor. Great job Harvest Tide Steakhouse Restaurant!!!

Parmesan Brussels Sprouts*- really bad, soggy, boiled and gross. No crisp whatsoever

I have mentioned in previous reviews here how wonderful the food is and how absolutely well taken care of we were. That has remained to stay at their high standard. I would like to mention this time the hard working management and staff. We were able to be seated in the center of the dining room. This gave me a vantage point to see how the inner kitchen workings performed their magic. I followed the flow of inbound orders, various stations preparing the orders and the constant communication between all the folks. Their very hard work pays off. The meal was perfect. Our orders were placed correctly and timely. Prepared quickly and accurately. Served promptly with a smile. Food always tastes a bit better when the server has a smile and genuinely asks if they can get you anything. Wonderful! All of this would not be so well orchestrated without top management. I had the pleasure of meeting Skyler for our dining experience and what a top notch guy he is! He takes pride in his restaurant and it really shows! If you have been here before, you already know what I am talking about and why we keep returning. If you are considering coming here, please do. The Chef looks familiar, I think I tasted his food before at one of the Celebrity Chefs Brunches for Meals on Wheels. I remember it being fantastic. There is outside dining but I booked inside as we weren't sure how warm it would be in May. It turned out to be a cold and windy weekend so we were very glad to be inside, plus the outside tables have a view of the highway. What a cute little restaurant inside; it is very tiny. We were crammed into a table in the corner. It was difficult to get past the other diners at their tables, and we could hear all the conversations around us. Every table was packed, I can't imagine what it's like in this room during the busy summer. Noelle was our server and she was amazing; very knowledgeable and friendly. She described the homemade bread service to us, and we ordered 2 Coastalpolitans which were made with Tito's Vodka, lime, soju, St. Germaine, and cranberry. They were sweet, and tart, and bright, and delicious. We decided on crab toast instead of the bread, and Noelle said we made the right choice. Wow, she was correct. The crab toast blew us away. It was chunks of crab on fluffy, crispy milk bread with pickled scallions, radish, lemon aioli, kelp powder, and lime. So beautiful and so delectable! RJ ordered the Pork Chop, which Noelle said One Coastal is known for, and I ordered the NJ Day Boat Scallops. We had no words. We sat there and quietly enjoyed every bite while listening to the surrounding tables, and knew we found a maybe not so hidden gem. My scallops were delicate and buttery and sweet, and melted in my mouth. RJ said his pork chop was tender and juicy, and the best he ever had. That is saying something. We finished with bread pudding because who doesn't love a good bread pudding, and we like to try it whenever we see one that looks interesting. It was salty and sweet and just so perfect. What One Coastal lacks in space and view, it makes up for with food and service. What a delightful place, and Noelle was a pleasure and a joy. We will definitely return to try all the other things and be lucky to sit anywhere inside or out.

Each dish was excellent -- fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The coconut cream pie was a standout dessert, and the seafood dishes were cooked perfectly. Atmosphere We sat at the back of the outside patio, which was pleasant in terms of seating and ambiance. However, the location had some drawbacks: The dumpster was directly behind us, and the smell carried into the dining area. Flies were present on the patio, and it seemed likely they were attracted by the dumpster rather than the breeze. 14 Global, the neighboring restaurant, had a cook who frequently exited the side door next to our table to smoke. The cigarette smoke drifted into our eating area, only 5-10 feet away. Overall Impression While the food was outstanding and the patio seating had potential, the environmental factors significantly detracted from the experience. The proximity to the dumpster and cigarette smoke made the meal less enjoyable. Recommendation I would not discourage anyone from visiting Patsy's -- the food is worth it. However, I would caution diners about the back patio seating, as the location near the dumpster and neighboring restaurant's smoking area can affect the overall dining experience.

Here is a breakdown of my two most recent experiences. During a solo outing with a friend, we arrived just before 4 PM to grab two coveted bar stools right as happy hour began, which now starts at 4 PM instead of 3 PM. I went with my usual two happy hour pepper creek punches and paired them with the happy hour fried chicken sandwich, adding a side of very good hand-cut fries for an extra $2. The portion was large enough that I brought half of the sandwich home for lunch. Bartender Trevor offered a sample of their malty nitro center of gravity english mild draft beer (4.5% ABV), and I loved the notes of toffee, chocolate, and toasted bread so much that I ended my dinner with two full glasses. Thanks to excellent service from bartenders Bill and Trevor, my solo total came out to a reasonable $36 before tip. On my next visit, I brought my family of four on a Wednesday around 6 PM. We were instantly accommodated at booth table 53 on the right side of the restaurant. They had recently updated their regular menu, and I decided to try the Korean beef bowl for $24, which features soy marinated sliced steak, vegetables, greens, an umami glaze, a fried egg, and spicy mayo served over basmati rice. Our server, Cate J., took wonderful care of us, and the total bill for the family was $152 excluding gratuity. Whether for happy hour or dinner, we will absolutely keep coming back.
