For me the selection was kind of awkward. 1) they only had eggs Benedict to go with their breakfast selections of sausage, bacon , breakfast potatoes, and French toast. *** You need an omelette station or at least scrambled eggs. The egg had no flavor and the English muffins weren't toasted**** 2) the lunch selections were a mixed bag. The Mac & Cheese was a hit. They had a seafood rice dish that we thought was Jambalaya. But actually it was a tomato sauce based over a rice pilaf (kinda like Riceroni. 3) they had fresh seafood... shrimp cocktail, mussels, clams, and oysters. The shrimp were overcooked but still okay and the oysters were good but for some reason weren't shucked. So you had to scrape them of with the fork. The cost was $60 per person and my wife had a couple pear margaritas that were a whopping $14.00 each for a tumbler. So it was a nice day, a nice place, but it's just not worth the price tag. This was our first time here. We were here for Sunday happy hour at the bar at 4 PM with my family and friends or a party of six. We were the first customers to enter at 4 PM so we had a choice of our bar stools. We chose the six bar stools around the corner of the bar.The padded bar stools with backs were very comfortable for our women. The bar is mostly made of dark wood so it is a little dark in appearance, which is fine for me, but some of our women were not as happy with the darkness. I started with and enjoyed my Purple Rain with aged rum, berry puree, lime and ginger beer for $10. After that I enjoyed my Blushing Basil, vodka, basil simple, strawberry puree and prosecco also for $10. I enjoyed both cocktails equally. I shared and enjoyed three roasted chicken wings in Buffalo orange sauce, pickled vegetables, jalapenos and blue cheese for $12. I prefer blue cheese over ranch. My chicken wings were very moist, which I prefer. My chicken wings were mildly spicy from the jalapenos. I also enjoyed my happy hour seafood paella with chorizo, shrimp, baby scallops, rice in a fresh tomato saffron broth for $22. I ended my dinner with my favorite pint of draft Guinness, which was $2 off or only $5. My total bill was $95 excluding gratuity. This review is specially for the Thanksgiving buffet : This buffet was really disappointing, especially for the price ($60 a person). We waited about 25 mins to be sat. Our reservation was for 5:30pm and they had already run out of several things. There were only two desserts offered (a chocolate cupcake and some kind of pinwheel). They said the pies they were expecting did not come in that morning and the rest of the pies they had were already gone. Saddest dessert table I've ever seen by far. The butternut squash soup was cold and the ladle that people had been touching fell in to it. Instead of replacing the soup they just took the ladle out. They also ran out of meatballs before we got any. They had mussels and clams out but they were only shells. We had to dig to find any with an actual mussel inside. Disappointing. Went there with 9 people. The restaurant was empty inside with some seated on balcony. We made reservations and despite there being other large tables we were seated in a back room in front of a tv that was turned off. When I approached the hostess on she barely looked up from her phone to shrug. I went back a few minutes later explaining we came for the view and ambiance and we didn't mind if they split up our party to 5/4 and again the hostess barely looked up off her phone to tell me no. I didn't want to make our party a target so I gave up and sat in the back. Our bill was $500 (not including the 20 % tip we left) and food was mediocre. Four of us ordered $60 steaks and two were ordered medium and came back super rare. They refired the steaks we cut into which we all know means they get returned dry. Dry steaks for $60 each is a shame. Overall the the fish was good. Steaks were disappointing, service was blah and accommodations were terrible. My husband and I decided to celebrate being pregnant with our second child this past Sunday the 13th and had a reservation for 6pm. We showed up on time and were seated and given menus. And THATS IT! End of story. No one came back, EVER!!! We are a restaurant family so decided to be patient. After 20 minutes went by and 2 other tables entered, were seated and received water and staff continually walking all around us, we left! I don't know how you'd describe a couple pieces of crab as a cake but whatever. The steak was so chewy and tough, it was seared on such high heat it had a very harsh burnt taste on the outside. It was swimming in a very strong steak sauce. I had a hard time cutting it so you can imagine how the chewing went. After eating the first medallion my first bite of the second was all gristle, I mean I had to spit it out. I normally don't send anything back but this was just bad. The waiter let the manager know and they made another medallion and the manager brought it out. She set it on the table and walked away, not a word was spoken. This medallion was the same as the others, tough, inedible, burnt on the outside. I filled up on green beans. My husband had the Blackened Prime Rib, he said it was nothing special but nothing to complain about. We normally don't complain, but since we did I would have thought the manager would have asked some questions and make it right. She did not care. She knew nothing about the menu. But was very kind. Three of our party ordered steaks. All were overcooked. Two of our party ordered gumbo. It was passable. However one plate came out cold with a huge chip in it. They charge $10 for three tiny rolls and a tablespoon of butter. As for the steaks they were swimming in juices showing that they were not properly rested. The list is endless with faults that this restaurant has. Will I go back. Absolutely not. The restaurant is located on the second floor above the main strip in Bethany steps away from the beach. It has music but the noise level is not too bad. The food is good. Order the fried calamari, the popcorn scallops, the kale salad, the watermelon radish salad, cheese covered Brussels Sprouts and mushroom risotto. A lot of smaller plates equal a large dinner which is perfect if you are looking for something not too heavy on a hot summer evening. The filet was sample sized to the point we had lunchables larger in size. Not to mention they charged $13 dollars for their "fancy bottles of water." They offered distilled or sparkling. Hydrated much? We nearly drowned when we got our bill.. $170!!! The $13 special Negroni cocktail tasted like a pre-mixed bottom shelf liquid poured from a plastic dispenser from a dive bar. This was one of the worst dining experiences we have had in years. I should've trusted the majority of negative reviews. Ordered the tomahawk steak special medium rare. It came out well done. Sent it back and the hostess/manager came over to try telling me I was wrong and it wasn't overcooked. The second steak came out effectively rare. Not only that but at least 1/3 of it was inedible fat. Absolutely disgusting and the restaurant handled it in an embarrassing fashion basically arguing with us instead of just trying to make it right. The only positive of the night was our server Tony, who is smart enough that I'm sure he will be working elsewhere very soon. Good menu and very open beachy space - not steakhouse dark which was a very nice touch. The menu is good but also steakhouse pricey. For these prices I'd like to see more steak options and pairing options. The truffle potatoes that come with each steak are good and it's nice to see at least one side included. The service while friendly and yearning to be even better just misses and is frankly the reason for the lost stars. We waited easily 30 mins after completing entrees and simply got the check and left. Never had our plates cleared or saw a dessert, coffee, after dinner drink menu ... which was a big miss as we would definitely have ordered all of the above from our group. My husband and I wanted to take my steak-loving Dad out for his birthday. Since I have a gluten sensitivity I needed a place with gluten free options. After making some calls and reading reviews, we decided to go to harvest tide. When my husband called Harvest Tide to ask about gluten free options, no specific menu items were mentioned just "steaks" (but most other businesses he called gave similar answers). No gluten free items were mentioned on the menu. Booking a reservation through Resy was easy. Parking was difficult to find and no parking information was provided on the website. Luckily, we left early and were able to find a spot when someone left. Somewhat surprisingly, there weren't any disabled parking spaces in the area near the restaurant. We got to the lobby of the restaurant and didn't know what to do since there was a menu but no real signage. My husband went up the stairs and found out there was a an elevator entrance but I don't think there were any signs about this in the lobby. Our server answered our questions, but didn't acknowledge the information I provided to Resy (that we were there for a birthday and I was gluten free). As for the food, the good news is that my Dad loved his food -- the steak, potatoes and green beans. For my husband and I that did not order steaks, however, it was a different story. Both his chicken and my steak were over cooked. In addition the risotto that came with my pork chop was undercooked. If I came here again, I would stick to the steak and not order pork or chicken.
