Best food I've had this week. We tried going here the other day but they do not open till noon. So we were like rats! Well something about this place kept gnawing at us. So today we're getting hungry for lunch and we walked the two miles to this place. We got the scallops that were an App. Those were absolutely delicious. After that I got the tuna wrap. And fries with no salt. That wrap was so good. Tun was perfect. Exactly what I needed. We got mocktails that were really good too. I'd def suggest this place to anyone coming down to Dewey. This spot just a few short blocks from the beach. We left our stuff on the beach to come here. It is on the second floor of a corner shopping promenade. We sat on the patio. Which overlooked the strip. The crushes were on point. Fries delicious. Wings were surprisingly incredible, fish tacos yummy and the kids meals are massive. Everyone love their food. My family and I decided to visit the old Cooter Brown's which is now 302 Social on Rehobeth Ave. We ordered our drinks and some appetizers before our meals. So we ordered the truffle brussels and crab dip. Well, the brussels were pretty large for being half cooked and there was zero sign of truffle on these. There was zero flavor. Considering the place prided themselves as making most from scratch. The crab dip wasn't anything to get crazy about. I had the Ahi tuna express wrap. It was good. As I am food critic when needed, I am giving this place 3 stars as the service was good and the place was clean. I will revisit this place over SeaWitch to see if it improves. I always give someone a second chance. read more

We went to dinner here, intrigued by the eclectic menu. However, I should've listened to my internal Gordon Ramsay, who says a restaurant with too many items on it can't be that good. Once again he was right. Although the service was fine, and the atmosphere was sort of beachy and bustling., The food did not hold up to our expectations. We ordered the special crab cake Rangoon, which were bland. In fact, the beef empanadas, and the and the shrimp stuffed potato skins were also bland. There was no flavor, no seasoning ,to anything. Then, to top it off, when we got the check and found out those crabcake Rangoon's were $18 for three pieces, it sealed the deal. We will not go back. read more

We picked this restaurant as an average American option. It had a really nice location - upstairs and on the main strip in the area. We had to wait a while but there was plenty of seating outside which was better than some of the places we ate. We got lucky and were seated at a table at the railing overlooking the street. It's always interesting to people watch. While our waitress was attentive - she was too much so. Our food took forever to come out and she kept checking in and asking if we needed anything. The only thing we needed was our food - and maybe an ETA on when it might arrive. Fortunately, we did have our cell phones and the people on the street to keep us entertained. Also, the sea gulls are VERY aggressive and we watched one eat some leftover food off the table next to us. So I had limited options on the menu (Healthy) and ended up getting the steak salad. Hubby got the burger. Neither should have taken that long to prepare but we were told the kitchen was backed up. My salad was very good with a very generous amount of steak on it. And the steak was perfectly done - still a bit red inside. I would have liked it really red but I know they can't do rare. SO I was just happy to have the red I did. And while it was chewy as heck, it had good flavor and I didn't expect it to melt in my mouth. I would totally order this meal again. Hubby was underwhelmed with the burger. It was rather sad and small looking. But in the grand scheme of things, it was fine - but just OK. I'm guessing he would not order it again. We got our check and paid in decent time once we finished eating. Overall I think the location and ambiance made up for the poor service (food taking way too long) and sad meal for the hubby. Also, the pricing was not insane as we encountered elsewhere which also made it quite acceptable. I would lightly recommend if location matters more than service food. read more

Dropped by for dinner and drinks. Drinks were pretty good and if you sit outside, it's cool that it's overlooking Rehoboth Avenue and the water. I found the food to be pretty mediocre though. My wife's bowl and my shrimp wrap or unimpressive. My wife felt like her shrimp tasted like bleach water. Our friends got shrimp and fish tacos which did look better but still not great. Service was good in the atmosphere inside is comfortable and not too loud. I hadn't been here in years, but it's unlikely that I will go back for food. Great service and great food. We were here on a rainy day and our waitress was awesome. We asked her what her favorite dish was and she said she loved the "Messi Burger". So that's what the hubby ordered and he loved it. I didn't even get a chance to take a photo. I got the Classic Burger. We also ordered the crab dip. Excellent!! Side Caesar salad was great too. My burger was so juicy and beefy and filled with flavor. The owner/manager shared with us the secret of the flavor bomb! :) I highly recommend for a solid food experience. There's lots to choose from in RB and once again, Yelp! helped me figure it out. Lots of reviews, most very good. Started out with seasonal cocktails Harvest Mule & Scampi Crustini appetizer was a nice size portion to share and dee-licious ! I had the Fish Sammy with mahi, I thought it was a little bland tasting. My wife had a bacon smash burger which she throughly enjoyed. Matter of fact, she finished her burger, she usually takes half home but she it was too good. We both had Orange crushes which were very good. The service was quick and attentive. We stopped by for lunch and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was as decorated so nice. Our waitress, Kaitlyn was wonderful and took the time to answer questions and offer great suggestions. We ordered the house made garlic parm wings which were the best garlic parm wings I've had. The smash burgers were delicious and weren't sloppy or falling apart when you went to eat them. Worst place! This is the second time we tried to go in the past 2 weeks. The first time we were seated outside as requested. However, we waited 15 minutes and no one came to get our drink order or even say hey we will be right with you. We decided to give them a try again a few weeks later and again horrible service. We walk in to a hostess who couldn't bother to give us eye contact. We stood there over a minute until she points a finger at us, still not looking and says to give her a minute. After awkwardly waiting a few more minutes, she tells us there's a wait and just says, "so uh do you wanna wait?" without even telling us how long. It felt like we were bothering her, with being a hostess you are the first impression to the business and this was horrible. Never again. read more

We were staying at a nearby hotel and walking towards the beach when we spotted this place. It looked fun with plenty of outdoor seating , so we decided to give it a try. We were lucky enough to get an outdoor table in the shade. They have appetizers, salads, sandwiches, wraps, and entrees. I opted for the fresh fish Sammy. Had dinner here with the fam for my daughters birthday. Location is prime, as it is right up the block from the beach, on a popular strip of stores/restaurants, and has insoor/outdoor seating options. We opted to sit outside to enjoy the view. However, the inside is nice looking too. Staff is welcoming and friendly. I ordered garlic parm wings, seafood potatoe skins, and a drink. The wings were bland & barely had any sauce on them. I had to request an extra side of sauce. Im a wing girly so these were a disappointment. The seafood skins were my fave. They were really good & even better with a side a blue cheese...dont knock it til you try it lol. My husband had a jerk salmon wrap. No jerk was tasted whatsoever lol not to mention, the salmon had no seasoning, wasn't mixed in at all. Its like they just slapped it in the middle if the wrap & surrounded it with lettuce. Of course I had to try his wrap so I can give my honest opinion about it and issa no for me. Walked in on a Wednesday after lunch (2ish) and had no wait. It was so hot out, our waitress showed up within seconds with ice cold waters. She was an amazing waitress - she gave us great recommendations from each section of the menu. I chose the tuna express wrap and my husband did shrimp and grits and added scallops. He was SO HAPPY that the shrimp tails were removed - he had commented the other day that no one ever removes them and here they did. Food was delicious! Service was slow and unattentive. We waited 10 minutes before being greeted or a drink order being taken. Food was awful. Burrata was weirdly soggy in a mystery liquid. Avocado on the Cali Burrito was brown and unappetizing. Lettuce in the gyro was slimy, so they tried to cover it all in sauce so no one would notice. Every adult had an upset stomach after. Today we went to 302 social as for something to eat, we were greeted with a very nice person when we went in, it was busy when we went during mid day. The service was good, but the only thing was we order drinks and they didn't come out until ten minutes and they only had 1 bartender working. Our waiter was new so he didn't know a lot but asked us to test his knowledge out the food. Which everyone did and he knew it! I order the wings which were good, and the other at my table had a salmon on a sandwich with Cesar salad which was also salty. I got something called a creamsicle drink it tasted like a creamsicle ice cream. In the inside they had a foosball table for anyone in the bar room and it looked like a very modern restaurant. Our group went for dinner and sat on the patio since it was a lovely night. Drinks were ordered. I had the South of the Border which was pretty cool with jalapeño slices boosting the spicy factor. It did seem a little watery though. The crab dip appetizer was ordered to share and everyone enjoyed that. I had Crab Bruschetta as my entree and the summer berry salad which was huge. My experience here was very confusing and not great. My friend and I walked in around 7:45 pm during the July 4th weekend and heard the host tell the customer in front of us the whole restaurant was booked for the night and there were no tables available. After the customer asked how that made any sense, the host walked to one side of the room and then came back to let the her know there was a table available. My friend and I thought we would have to leave, but we were seated immediately AND in an area that had 4 available tables. It took over 10 minutes for our waiter to come to us, so we put in our drink and food order at the same time with her. We ordered: fish and chips steak frites When we got our meals, they looked amazing and delicious. They tasted great too. But I was really disappointed with the fish and chips because half of the plate was fries, and the other half had only 1 piece of fried cod ($22). My friend's steak frite plate was completely filled with fries and included about 10-12 pieces of steak over the fries ($26). To get half the amount of fries and half the amount of protein for only $4 less is not right. I checked the website menu to make sure what I was eating was worth the $22, but the online menu said the fish and chips were $26. The menu handed to us by our waiter said $22. I was baffled by how things made less and less sense as the night went on. Overall, I think this could be a really great restaurant to eat at, but based off of our experience, it wasn't that great. This is our favorite restaurant in Rehoboth! The food is fantastic especially the ahi tuna wrap which i am obsessed with and they always offer creative specials for food and cocktails. My boyfriend and I go down to delaware once a year. We are always excited to try new restaurants, and when we saw 302 social we wanted to try it! They were wonderful! We had drinks (a mojito, and the painkiller) which were refreshing. Tuna nachos for an app which were so so good and unique. I got fish tacos for a meal, and he got the chicken sandwich. Walking in- The calming, refreshing, atmosphere was a wonderful sight and feeling while eating at this restaurant. Service- Our waitress was really nice and attentive, probably one of the best I've ever had. The food came out pretty slow, but the excellent staff made up for it.
