Would give zero stars if we could. What a rip off! Don't go here and don't believe the prices they are quoting before you go! We were given an OTD price over text and we asked several times if that was the final price as we didn't want to waste time negotiating after we came in and were assured of it. The salesperson said he would sell it to us at the OTD price if we came in the next 3 days, so we made an appointment for the next day. As soon as we got there, the person we were working with over the phone handed us to another sales guy and walked away saying he was busy. The second sales person gave us the test drive and brought us back and started saying that he couldn't match our price! When we showed him the confirmation messages as proof he said he didn't know who sent it and that then that person was not in the office. When we asked to see a manager he said manager was not around and we would need to wait. And that if we wanted the car it was the price he quoted and he would not honor the price we had been originally given. We wasted 1 hour driving there only becoz they promised us the out the door price !it's a rip off! Don't go here . They just want to get you in the door and then fleece you! Less than a year into leasing a new car (and under 10,000 miles), I was told my tires were already worn out and needed replacing--a $2,000 expense I absolutely did not expect. While this wasn't covered under the lease agreement, it was incredibly frustrating given how new the car was. After doing some research, I learned others had successfully pursued reimbursement through Mazda. I reached out to Alex to let him know I'd be going down that path, and he was supportive from the start. He then went out of his way to provide the documentation Mazda required--something that took time and effort on his end--to help move the process forward. Months later, I did receive reimbursement from Mazda. Throughout it all, Alex remained helpful, responsive, and genuinely invested in the outcome--even though it wasn't directly his responsibility. I brought in my 2013 CX-9 because the brakes were mushy and not braking well. This was the first time I have had any problems with the Mazda which has almost 100,000 miles. I brought it in on Monday and Alex arranged a Lyft home for me. I was called after the car was checked out, sent a video of the problem and told the part would be coming the next day and work would be done. I called on Wednesday and was told they were one mechanic down and were behind in their work. I called on Thursday and was told the master cylinder was cracked and needed replacement. Then on Friday, the back brake lights were not working. At that point, I told Alex I had been without a car for the week. He said I will send a Lyft for you and give you a loaner. On Monday, my car was ready. My loaner was a Mazda hybrid CX-50 that gets 65 miles/gallon. I used less than a gallon of gas going home and back plus errands run. I was well treated even though it took the entire week for the repair. Alex followed through on the promised discount for teachers. My car feels brand new. I had a great car buying experience at Victory Mazda in San Leandro! Sal was very thorough, and covered all the steps in the car buying process. I made a 2pm appt for a test drive, and Sal met me in the parking lot. We went inside for a quick interview. He asked me what vehicle I wanted, trim level, and what colors would be acceptable. I told him my ideal car would be a Soul Red CX-50 Premium. He said they didn't have that exact SUV, but offered me a test drive to introduce me the CX 50. Sal told me all about the SUV. I flew in from San Diego to purchase a car site unseen. Yes, it was as nerve wrecking as it sounds, but Scarlett made the process very easy and helped me get out of my own way when it came to pulling the trigger because of the distance. which after spending one nights rest with my new (to me) car, i can say im so thankful she did. bought a subaru forester with a very specific color and tech package and shes perfect. when i got to the store to pick up my vehicle there was a small scratch that they made right immediately so i felt that dealership leaving like I got a good deal and like I was taken care of instead of taking advantage of (Which was a real worry since I was basically putting myself in a really bad spot since I had clearly planned to drive the vehicle home.) I also really enjoyed chatting with Ali in finance, he made the worst part of buying a car super enjoyable gave me a couple recommendations for the area and was just generally pleasant and not high pressure, it was honestly like talking to an old friend. Other small shoutouts to Ali (sales) and James who were the managers that both came out and made sure that they met me in person after interacting with me over the phone, Which was just very personal and made the experience that much more pleasant. I will most likely add another post or comment on this post as there are a couple things that aren't fully wrapped up, I'll be finalizing next week (Just things that were a part of the deal that are owed) so everyone knows how the treat the customer after the sales aswell! but i dont expect to be disappointed with how my experience has been so far. This week I spoke with manager Chris and salesman Daniel. I was in the market for a CPO Cx-30. They had a good advertised price and I was ready to buy. I asked for the out the door price, with DMV fees and taxes included, so I could have payment ready. They said they would text it to me "soon". Hours later I hadn't heard back so I called again - I was again told they would send it right over... hours later, nothing. Finally, at almost 8pm they called and gave me the number(after I asked for it to be text to me multiple times). The number was abnormally high so I did the math myself and told them it was wrong... they claimed they might have used the wrong zip code and said they would call me back. They called back and finally got honest after HOURS that they advertise one price but then add in an extra $1,000 after the fact for items that are included with the car that cannot be taken off. Dealerships like these are the exact reason car salesman are trusted just as much as congress. Dishonest and Deceptive Beware of This Dealership I went to this dealership with my 17-year-old daughter to purchase a car we had found on their lot. We were helped by SAL, test drove the car, and agreed on a price of $18,000 plus taxes and DMV fees. I made it very clear from the start that I did not want any extra options, add-ons, or warranties. We shook hands on the deal. After waiting over two hours, we finally sat down to sign the paperwork only to find the total financing amount was $31,000. When I questioned this, I was told it was "just the interest," but the figure shown with interest was $38,000. That is not the deal we agreed to. Fianace manager ABDULLAH stepped out to "check with the managers" and came back claiming there was a "miscommunication," but then tried to tell me that the bank required gap insurance which is simply not true. This was a blatant attempt to upsell and pad the deal with unnecessary charges. At that point, I told them they were being dishonest and that I wasn't going to proceed. Instead of honoring our agreement, they told me to come back Monday to speak to a manager. My daughter and I left heartbroken and in tears after wasting hours of our time and being subjected to these manipulative tactics. Searching for a new 2026 Mazda CX-50 turbo with a very tight budget. Received numerous phone calls from different dealers after requesting deal from Costco. Nya from Victory Mazda San Leandro was the first to call ( he must have come to work early.) Listened for my budget constrains and called back within 10 minutes and said he could not sell one at my target price but offered a close quote better than any quote I had received. I countered with easy dealer added options and he quickly replied back with an affirmative response. Following a refundable deposit ( California law,) a vehicle fitting my wish list in color and equipment en route to the dealership was secured. Test drove it, liked it, we didn't agree on the price. I wanted it $2000 lower than what they advertised it for. We didn't agree. I went back home. Over the next few days, i kept getting phone calls from them over and over, asking me to come back, that we can work it out, etc. They even offered $1000 off the price. I said that it is not enough, i wanted it $2000 off. After 4 days, they called me (it was Friday) and told me, "alright, you will get your $2000 off, just come and pick it up". I even asked to confirm, what price are we discounting. It was $28 991. The rep said yes. (have screenshots to prove it). I drove to the dealership and they started playing games. Basically they said the price has gone up by a $1000 in the meantime to $29 991, and only on that increased price will they discount $2000. BS. My messages show that that is not what we agreed on. I'm going to be fair about this review. In September, I brought my car in to get a creaking noise resolved. San Leandro Mazda was great about checking all open TSBs for my vehicle and took care of the issue with no issues (under warranty). For this, I had a 5 star experience, which is aligned with most of the Yelp reviews. San Leandro Mazda has since changed ownership and was changed to "Victory Mazda". Early November, I made an appointment for service which was quoted for less than $300 on their website, and when I showed up for my appointment, I was told that the pricing on the website was wrong and that the services I requested was going to be $440. They were not going to honor the quote from the website. I was very uncomfortable with this bait-and-switch approach, and declined the service. One star for this experience. I was really hoping that I had finally found an honest dealership, but I am disappointed in how the ownership change is being handled. I spent several days working with Victory Mazda on a certified used car and was very clear, responsive, and acting in good faith throughout the process. I test drove the vehicle, negotiated respectfully, confirmed pricing verbally, and ultimately came in prepared to finalize the purchase with a check. Unfortunately, the process became increasingly difficult at multiple stages. Pricing and terms shifted several times, urgency was repeatedly applied, and communication was inconsistent between sales staff and management. Despite confirming an out the door price before coming in, when I arrived at the dealership I was told the paperwork and check had already been prepared using an address that was never confirmed with me for registration purposes. This resulted in a higher total price at the last minute. Rather than owning the mistake or working collaboratively to resolve it, the burden was placed on me to accept the change. Had my car serviced a week ago, said they did a full point inspection told me including battery and tires, A few days later my low tire pressure indicator came on for two tires , no big deal I thought and added air. Fast forward my car would not start called Triple A and back on road. Today 10/2/2025 car would not start called AAA battery . The service advisor could not believe how bad my battery was it had an odor and was leaking, he said it had the potential to explode.
