He has never charged me to asses any problems with the machines that I've brought in. Sometimes I have chosen not to have them serviced or repaired - no problem. A couple of years ago my Electrolux (which I had purchased from a different dealer, 20 years earlier) started to have problems. Jarred and I discussed the issues that were worth fixing and the ones that would have to wait. He was able to replace a part that was costly and difficult to find, with a very good substitute. Recently, that particular machine burned out the motor and it was time to replace it. Jarred asked some good questions about how I use my vacuum (floors, pet hair, dusting, etc) and made some recommendations for a new vacuum. There was no pressure to buy more machine than I needed. I purchased a Sebo from the Vacuum Center because Jarred has confidence in the manufacturer and he is able to service it, if needed. I am very satisfied with my new vacuum.
