And let me tell you--that shift made all the difference. It gave us the relaxed, low-pressure vibe we needed to actually talk and enjoy each other's company without feeling rushed or crowded. We ordered a round of drinks and a few appetizers: Three pepper queso (definitely a win) Cheeseburger egg rolls (yes... and yes again) Crab egg rolls (...we'll just say these didn't make the highlight reel) Everything hit except the crab egg rolls--they just weren't giving what they were supposed to give. What I really liked about this spot is that it's not just a sit-and-eat place--it's an experience. They've got pool tables, basketball hoop games, cornhole, and even karaoke studios. We didn't tap into that this time, but trust--we already said next visit is game night. There's also outdoor seating if you want to switch up the vibe. Overall, this was a great place to close out a first date. Good energy, plenty to do, and enough flexibility to make the night what you want it to be. We'll definitely be back... and next time, somebody's getting beat in cornhole

Service- easy enough. We came on a Sunday around noon, it wasn't too crowded, we were immediately seated. Our server was nice enough a young woman. Food- my friend and I both ordered the boss burger and added the egg. It was great, would recommend. And we shared the burger egg rolls those were good too, comes with 2 kinds of dipping sauces. The place doesn't look to large on the outside but spacious on the inside. We didn't check out all the games in the back. But would be a fun night out for a family outing, or to watch any game on there large tvs. They also have special nights like Love Island watch party night, and Ladies Night, if your into a theme night.

I loved the layout and all the different seating options here! Cozy booths next to the pool tables is a great idea.

Let me start by saying there is PLENTY of parking as it in a shopping plaza at the end. So when I arrived I came a sat at the bar and was greeted by the bartender. There was a waitress and she stated I should order a Frozen Pineapple Margarita. It was sweet so probably wouldn't order it again. What I thought was good was there was a lot of wait staff around and the menu was HUGE. It appears what every day they have a food special around $11-12. There was a good amount of people in the spot as the ambiance looks like a typical sports bar. Currently it's hot but there is a patio outside that I plan to take advantage of later in the fall. I sat at the bar and order a six piece battered wing which was around $8-9. The flavors were barbecue and lemon pepper. I enjoyed the barbecue flavor as the sauce had a little kick but was good. Now I didn't like the lemon pepper. I think they fried the wing dings and sprinkled ALOT of lemon pepper. It was so salty I couldn't even eat it. I tried dusting it off but it was too much. Wouldn't recommend. Overall all I would be back maybe to get more of a bar experience as I think this spot has potential to be at least a 4 or 5. If you're in the area I'd definitely stop in.

The atmosphere at Woody's is really what makes it stand out. On a Friday or Saturday night, it's the kind of place that just comes alive--good energy, people having a great time, and a vibe that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. The girl who checked us in was cool but then it wall went downhill from there We went to our pool table and started playing, now the pros..nice clean place, lots of TV's and tables and pretty spacious but the service was horrible The wait staff as you can imagine were women in their 20s which that type of place is expected, but with young ppl like that come arrogance, attitudes and laziness, we waited about 30 minutes to even be approached for drinks and the girl that came up to us seemed like she didn't want to be there but did it anyway b/c she was forced, but before that, all the waitresses were gathered at the front registers and completely ignoring us, how do I know, b/c ALL of them looked me straight in the eye and turned their heads or walked away from us, I had to wave my hands in the air and look like a fool to even be seen, then finally we got "Service" from "Tasia" The food was cold by the time we got it, the drinks were cool but the place is a bit overpriced but for that type of place, not surprised, throughout the visit our waitress (and others) walked to everyone else but us, so we felt ignored, I would pull the race card since I WAS the only brother in there but it was a mixed race crowd and wait staff so I can't play that card All in all we felt ignored not just by Tasia but the other wait staff the food was mediocre and overpriced and not that this review matters b/c unless you're an adult that expects decent service when you go to an establishment like this and not a 20 year old kid who pretty much doesn't care..this isn't the place for adults. Whiskey River has better service. But at least I checked it out and now that I have..this place makes me miss living in Katy.

Well, Loft18 combines all the things we like to do. This spot is located in the Heights area and has plenty of parking. Reservations are recommended if you want a bay to play, but walk-ins are also accepted. I interacted with staff at the bar while waiting for staff as well as the person who took care of us while we were in a bay. Customer service was good other than having some long waits between drinks and food even though the place wasn't too busy yet. So Loft18 is basically a sports bar with interactive golf simulation bays as well. You can also just dine and drink because they have tables as well as a patio. By rates vary depending on what day and time you come. My friends and I did a random weekday afternoon which is about 20 bucks and hour which is a killer deal to me. You can fit up to 10 people per bay. If it isn't busy, I would suggest getting multiple bays so everyone gets a good amount of playing time. The golf simulation is better than playing Golden Tee. From what I experienced, it was very accurate and life like without being in the elements. If golf isn't your thing, you can play a variety of other games as well like soccer, basketball, dodgeball and quite a few other options. They also serve food and drinks here. I started off with a cocktail which was nicely made and tasty. Once I got into competition mode, I switched to beer. They have good options for both. During our time, so of our group got different food items. The nachos and flatbread stood out to me and everyone enjoyed them. No one else had any complaints on their mains. Overall, Loft18 is a very fun place and I would highly recommend it for group outings. I also think its a great team building type environment as well. I will be back!
