Great place! Definitely going to request this spot for family dinners when I come up from Tampa to visit my folks. They love it because it's one of the few places in town they can get a hearty, flavorful vegan meal. Pho Tai the best, most flavorful broth I've ever had. Cooked from the freshest meat and simmered for 18 hours. Yummy noodles and steak, too. Sometimes food feeds your soul as well as you belly and this place definitely does that. We also had the Spring Rolls which were so yummy. My friend did not like his PHO - took a couple bites and would not eat the rest nor take it home...my vegetarian PHO was not good either. The side of bean sprouts and basil were limp and definitely not fresh. Both us decided that even though we live in Inverness, we would not be going back. read more

I am always so excited for more ethnic food opportunities in this town. I hope this succeeds because it was very good. We ordered shrimp spring rolls as an appetizer. They were good, but there was some spice in the peanut looking dipping sauce that I just didn't care for. I had the hu Tieu, a pork broth with noodles, ham, pork, shrimp, squid, and quail eggs. It was delicious. The broth was rich. Took home a nice portion for lunch tomorrow. My husband had the fried rice with a variety of meats. He enjoyed it. It was good, but I'm kind of picky about fried rice and didn't think it was great. I also had a Vietnamese coffee which was very yummy. We would definitely go back. I cannot tell you how excited I am that we have Pho in Inverness. My wife and I frequently travel to surrounding areas to enjoy Vietnamese food. Now we have the option of driving 5-10 minutes down the road to support a local business owner. We stumbled upon the restaurant on Facebook and went in to eat the very next day. The restaurant seating area resembles a small-town diner. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Now to the important stuff: the food. The Pho was fantastic. I was incredibly impressed with how delicious the broth was. The flavor was full an rivals well known restaurants that I have visited in the surrounding area. I am a huge fan of summer rolls and have to order them when they are on the menu. These were also delicious. I have to admit I was skeptical when I saw the Facebook ad pop up on my timeline, but I am so glad that I stopped by to eat. I am 100% a regular at Viet Deli. read more

First time at Viet Deli in Inverness off 41. It is a small quaint restaurant with limited seating but they are remodeling next week with more seating. We had the Pho (pronounced Pha) soup with beef and meatballs. It was so delicious and FILLING. I could not finish mine. I ordered the large serving. Service was great and very friendly. Prices are reasonable for what you're getting. I tried a place in Jacksonville very similar to this location and the Pho soup was the same. We definitely will be back! read more

I was so excited when I discovered the place within the first month of its opening. The pho was absolutely wonderful. Sad to say that it has changed somewhat. TOO MUCH MSG is now used. We went the Saturday before they closed for remodeling which was absolutely necessary. The place definitely needed a makeover. However the food was absolutely wonderful. I was having flashbacks of the restaurants in Saigon. We both ordered the Beef Pho and Spring Rolls. The rolls were super fresh with shrimp and pork. The peanut sauce on the side was an added plus. The Pho was served in huge bowls and was the best I have had in years. There was so much left over we took an entire order home. The menu is of course typical Vietnamese with rice dishes and vermicelli bowls. The young Vietnamese girl was gracious and helpful with menu questions. I can't wait to go back and try them again and I highly recommend it. By the way the place shares space with the Inverness Meat Market and Eye PoppIn' Sub Shop. My husband and I went here a few days ago and it was great. Nothing much to look at on the inside (plain, no decor) but I think they are in the process of remodeling, Very clean. Ceramic wood look tile on the floor is beautiful. We had the pork and shrimp Pho (rice noodle) and shrimp fried rice. Both were great. We already want to go back. The shrimp fried rice was full of yummy veggies like green beans, corn, onion and bean sprouts. And the pho had a nice broth and plenty of meat in it. I kinda wish they took the tails off their shrimp though, it's weird eating soup that you have to take the tails off as your eating it, but maybe they have a good reason for not. We also tried the pork and shrimp summer rolls, which were good as well. Next time I will pass on ordering their hot tea because it was $2.50 for a cup of hot water and a tea bag. Next time I will try their iced coffee instead. I seen several people there ordering it so it must be good. read more
