    Variety of Vietnamese goods!
    Sam D.

Like many places in a Chinatown, you'll find these special hole-in-the-wall shops specializing in native goods. Viet Tofu is something I miss visiting when I'm in Houston or Austin. Although I get my fried tofu elsewhere, I absolutely must come here to get their hot dessert tofu (other names include: hot tofu, soft tofu, tofu dessert). The ginger syrup hits just right and they are very generous when filling the container with tofu. I've made multiple trips purchasing their soft tofu to gift to family and friends out of the city. My family likes to make their own bread at home and thought that their bread was just as good. This is the only location in Dallas that I am aware of that offers flavored tofu like vegetarian (has greens and noodles in it) and lemongrass (chilli and lemongrass). I've had better from the tofu restaurants in Houston, but the lemongrass tofu is similar to the best I've had. They pretty much have everything I may be craving of or miss, except for sugar cane juice! I would definitely come more often if they got a machine. Otherwise, come if you are looking for ripe mini bananas, cooked meats, sweet rice, baked goods, traditional desserts, and of course tofu. The pricing on their goods is very cheap! The deals here are impressive, but it is cash-only, which is very typical for the businesses around the area.

    My springrolls it crumble apart.

First, of all it look nicely wrapped. All I see is way to much lettuce and white noodle. When I started to hold it everything crumble, that's mean they use cheap wrapper, they are stingy with meat.

As soon as I arrived home within 20mins open the package and see all these mold an the smell is horrible. So disappointed how can they even sell such things!!

This the second time I found something wrong with my banh bao... The first time was a string of some sort.. And yesterday I wanted to re-try it because I figured mistakes happens.. Soooo wish I never ever went back.. 3 bites in and I find mold! When I got it it was in their steamer all hot and fresh.. Never going back again!

Didn't see it until ..: finished the drink omg .... so not clean ... make sure to look at the food you got 1st before you walk out of there

Loved the hot tofu dessert with honey ginger. You can get large cup that would serve 3 portions.

Walked and the lady behind the counter was on her phone and was rude. Disappointed to find this place empty and unkept with stale food.

A great place to pick up fresh tofu, soy milk, and che in the Dallas area.

The tofu are so cold but pretty cheap. The lemongrass tofu wasn't that good. Overall, it's pretty good place for cheap tofu.

The breads were baked the same day. After ordering, the sandwiches came out within a reasonable timeframe. The deals for Thursday of buy two get one free, if anyone live here is too good to pass up. The bread is made fresh in house. You can see all the racks when you walk in. This place is more of a bakery than anything. I think they sell 5 loaves for a few bucks. It's absolutely the best. So crisp in the outside and tender like poboy bread on the inside. The sandwich toppings were nice. I got the basic ham and it was full of flavor. The pickled veg were so well seasoned and nice. It was a very nice compliment to the rich pork and some sort of spread they had on it. I could not get enough of this thing. I truly thought i hated bahn mi. My motto is that every dish has the potential to be delicious. If I haven't liked it yet, I may have my found the best version. I'm so happy to conclude my search locally. We will be back back. Please note the sandwiches are made to order. You may have to wait a few minutes, but rest assured, it's going to be amazing!
