number 2 - just get it!!!

This place is inside a Vietnamese market and I would have never known about it if it weren't for my gf who suggested it. We got the #2 and I was really unsure about it because I am not really into super bready foods. Plus the bread looked really hard and distasteful but omg was I wrong. The bread was light and crispy on the outside and super soft and buttery on the inside. I was literally shocked when I took my first bite. The meat was super tender and not overly salty. I am guessing they process the lunch meat onsite as well as the bread. Not to mention the pickled veggies on the inside were absolutely the perfect combination of flavors with the meat, bread, and fresh cilantro. Highly recommend this place and they even open at 8am if you want to pick one up bright and early. Also plenty of parking!

Combination Banh Mi My boss took us here and swore they have some of the best banh mis in town. I'm so glad he brought us here, because normally I would have been scared off by the questionable Yelp reviews. This place is located in the mall. Super fast service, super legit, just delicious very stuffed banh mis. Great bread, great everything. Huge fan!

this is my favorite place to get banh mi! the bread itself is crispy and the banh mi comes with pate and butter spread. since i usually take it home, i ask for the veggies on the side so i can add as much as i like when i'm ready to eat. they offer a variety of banh mi options, but my favorites are cha lua and dac biet!

Solid Banh mi. Buy 5 get 1. Banh mi just under $6. Has com chay (crispy 'burnt' rice) with pork floss.

My family has been coming here for years after grocery shopping, but the quality has definitely gone down. The grilled pork is not what it used to be either--different marinade? Service has gotten easier in that communicating isn't as tough anymore (as a Non-Viet person!) The bread is still a good mix of crunchy and soft, and they don't skimp on the protein either. Buy 5, get 1 promo is still active!

24 Banh Mi sandwiches on their menu ... 24! And not only do they have a great variety, but they're really tasty too. Came by with a relative who knows the area and they highly recommended this banh mi location for a quick stop and go lunch. We all ordered different banh mi sandwiches, but I had a chance to try the #1 Dac Biet combination and the #6 Xiu Mai meatball sandwich. First, the baguettes were softer than what I was used to and I really liked that. Instead of scratching the insides of my mouth with the sharp, crispy baguette crust, I was able to bite down easily on their baguettes. As for the #1, although it didn't seem like it had a lot of meat at first, after a few bites, I was finally able to discover the layers of sliced meats. The #1 was OK and good, but it wasn't anything unique to me. As for the #6, that was what really wow'd me as I had never eaten a meatball banh mi before and the meatballs were very tasty. I also liked the generous portion inside the baguettes as well. If I were to ever revisit Banh Mi 1, the #6 would definitely be my go to sandwich. Besides the tasty banh mi sandwiches, the price point for the sandwiches surprised me too. They all ranged from $3.25 - $3.75, which is insanely inexpensive in 2019 and makes the sandwiches so worth it. Will I ever be back? Heck yeah if I ever pass by Dallas again.

Honestly one of my favorite banh mi places! Grilled thit noung pork is my fav! They don't speak English so you gotta like just tell her the number and how many u want haha. Buy 5 get 1 free! They fill it pretty full and give lots of veggies if u ask for it. Cash only! Its great to take home and bake it in a toaster oven for like a couple minutes to make the bread crispy and add the veggies and theres a cheap lunch! Keeo the rest in the fridge and bake when ur ready to eat. Last about a week in the fridge so eat it fast!

After changing the ownership, they increased price from $4 to 6 a banh mi and every items cost extra 30% by take advantage of "inflation".

Got the egg rolls here. Some of them were sour, and the others were not. Pretty sure they had gone bad. It was noon time when I got this.

We ordered…read morethe gỏi cuốn, bún thịt nướng chả giò, bánh ướt thịt nướng, bánh khoái, bánh bèo chén, bánh ram ít, bánh lọc gói lá chuối, bánh nậm, and sugar cane juice. Everything had a very authentic, homemade feel, and it was nice to find a place that offers so many Huế-style and Central Vietnamese specialties. The small dishes were especially fun to share, and the sugar cane juice was a refreshing addition to the meal. Overall, Goc Hue is a great spot if you enjoy Vietnamese food and want something beyond the usual pho or banh mi options. We would definitely come back to try more of the menu.

Out of those six orders, 5 were absolutely delicious and I will be reordering those five each time. The sixth was still really great, but not my thing. The service is very good here and they are super friendly. The only bad thing is how small the place is so if youre there during full house you will have to wait. Although it's small, I wouldn't want it to change if it affects quality. So this place is dang near perfect to me. Prices are great as well. I would highly recommend making a trip out to this place. I'll definitely be back.

We went to this place back to back for their banh mi sandwiches and Vietnamese ice coffee drinks…read more We also got the che dessert. The sandwiches did have enough fillings of meats inside. The breads were baked the same day. After ordering, the sandwiches came out within a reasonable timeframe. The deals for Thursday of buy two get one free, if anyone live here is too good to pass up. Unfortunately we were only in town until Wednesday, however buy three get one free deal was also good.

The bread is made fresh in house. You can see all the racks when you walk in. This place is more of a bakery than anything. I think they sell 5 loaves for a few bucks. It's absolutely the best. So crisp in the outside and tender like poboy bread on the inside. The sandwich toppings were nice. I got the basic ham and it was full of flavor. The pickled veg were so well seasoned and nice. It was a very nice compliment to the rich pork and some sort of spread they had on it. I could not get enough of this thing. I truly thought i hated bahn mi. My motto is that every dish has the potential to be delicious. If I haven't liked it yet, I may have my found the best version. I'm so happy to conclude my search locally. We will be back back. Please note the sandwiches are made to order. You may have to wait a few minutes, but rest assured, it's going to be amazing!
