Delicious pizza!! I enjoyed the Margarita Pizza.
    Cindy J.

I got the margarita pizza slice. The thin crust was baked to perfection. It is a lovely spot to sit inside and enjoy a meal. There are outlets if you want to charge your phone or laptop. It's is near a bus stop and highway. Staff were friendly. Inside and outside patio ( warm weather).

My husband and I recently stopped by to try the pizza since we live nearby and often pass the place. After tasting just one slice, we decided to order a whole pie because it was so delicious. I highly recommend it--10 out of 10! The cheese and sauce are perfectly balanced, and the crust is definitely the best part; it's golden brown and just right. We also ordered a square chicken bacon ranch pizza, which was fantastic as well. The service and ambiance are really nice too. We are 100% satisfied!

This has become a staple when picking up pizza! I really enjoy their personal pizza, it's for decent size pieces for one person. If I can only eat half I save the other half and heated up in the toaster oven in the following day. The price is exceptionally good. The location is ideal and completely accessible to run in and grab your items.

Cuisine: 7 Service: 10 Decor: 7 Value: 8 Overall: 7 I came into this shop right as the restaurant was closing, workers were literally bringing in the plants and chairs. I asked if they had any pizza left. The nice gentleman behind the counter offered me what I have to assume they were heating up to take home. I told him that it was not necessary, but he insisted with a smile. I ordered a regular slice and a Margherita slice. However, he throw in an extra slice of Grandma and Sicilian. I wasn't even that hungry and told him it was not necessary. Once again, he insisted with a smile. Hence, I throw a few bucks into the tip jar and thanked him for his kindness. Honestly, the regular slice was quite enjoyable, but the other slices were all a bit overcooked. Likely been reheated more than once. Flavors were still decent, but crust definitely suffered. With that said, this is the kind of small business that deserve to be supported. It's not a five star establishment, but I would swing by to support them whenever I'm nearby.

Nice place to have a quiet dinner with friends. There were a few tables for 4. There is outdoor seating as well. I was surprised by how thin crusted the margarita pie was! It was crunchy too! The menu is limited but they have specials each weekday. Dessert is limited.

Have ordered from here many times. The pizza and garlic knots are consistently delicious. Ordered over the phone and they delivered within 30 minutes. Pizza and garlic knots always come hot, despite it being 25 degrees out today. The slices seemed a little smaller than usual but we were still happy.

Spinach Calzone looking like a hot mess. it tasted pretty good.

I'm not impressed with this place. Their pizza is not crispy at all. it's just average pizza. We tried the regular slice and the margarita slice. We also got a chicken roll and a spinach Calzone. Both were good. not really the greatest.

When View Pizza first opened I thought they don't stand a chance with neighborhood competition (Cascarinos, Freddy's etc...). We tasted their pizza when they first opened and I will honestly say I was shocked. It reminded us of the pizza we grew up on. Last night we ordered from View pizza and we were so disappointed. We ordered a large regular pie. Which was bland and the cheese looked as if a toddler placed it on the pizza. We ordered a penne a la vodka slice (big mistake) they took an old slice of plain vodka sauce pizza and added a scoop of penne some vodka sauce and mozzarella. It was horrible. We also ordered a grandma slice which was also an old slice and it was burned and the crust was very hard. We ordered garlic knots which were the only thing we enjoyed. We asked for marinara sauce on the side for the garlic knots and they sent us tomato soup (that's how thin the sauce was) to dip the garlic knots in. All and all the meal was not worth $52.63 and I seriously doubt we will order from them again. Not sure what happened? Maybe new owners. Maybe new cooks. All I do know is the food was horrible compared to when they first opened. Please note that there is a sign hanging on the pizza store front that says "Home of the Margarita pizza" - absolutely not. I have had their margarita pizza and it is actually one of the worst margarita pizzas I have ever tasted. They need to remove that sign. Anyone who appreciates this pizza in 2023 has no taste buds and has never had real pizza. I'm just saying.

    Limp slice
    John E.

Ordered a fresh pie and look how limp it was. It's like they really stretched out a small portion of dough to make a large pie. Middle of the pie was literally paper thin and soggy. My 3yr old daughter asked me what was wrong with her pizza. Neither her or my son finished their slice or even wanted seconds. Won't be coming here again.

Grand opening, the pizza was really good, I can definitely see this pizza place being around for a while. I haven't tried everything on the menu but the white slice and the margherita slice that I had was more than enough of reason to come back here.

Margarita Slice and Regular Cheese Slice

Walked by this pizza spot in the Whitestone area today while playing Pokémon Go (yes I still play...). Thought I'd give it a try since I love pizza. Always critical but never picky about my pizza if that makes sense. The place looks clean and staff was pleasant. While looking at the menu outside I noticed the staff did have masks on even with no customers inside at the time which is great. I've seen some places only put it on when customers were around. The pricing I thought was pretty good as well. I ordered a regular slice for 2.75 and a margarita for 3 dollars. Some other slices were 3 dollars as well. I've been to places where they charge $5+ for specialty slices. Now for the pizza itself. The pics I took were when the pizza got a little cold. Walked 10 blocks in the cold before I had a chance to eat them. Still good though! The slices seemed a little smaller than a usual slice from other places but I think that's because the crust is extra thin. The slices themselves were very thin and crispy. All qualities I prefer in my pizza. Thin light and crispy. Flavor wise the sauce on the regular slice was pretty flavorful. Felt like there's enough to give it flavor without making it soggy or heavy. The margarita could have used a bit more of sauce as the cheese made it a tiny bit saltier than I expected but flavor was still there. It was even thinner and lighter than the regular slice. Did not notice an excess amount of grease and it's so light it feels guilt free to eat. Overall I really liked the pizza here, it is exactly the type I've been looking for in the area. Light, thin and crispy. I think if David Portnoy gave this a try he would like it too.

SPAM Musubi--served warm. grilled spam + rice, wrapped in crispy seaweed. this was fine. all the flavors are there. however i would stick with the bigger bites on the menu or another side order of macaroni salad. the interior is well-maintain, clean, and casual sit-down interior. there's a decent amount of tables if you want to dine in. the staff is friendly and accommodating. my to-go order was neatly wrapped up and bagged. if you are looking for a different kind of comfort food, L&L Hawaiian Barbecue has got a lot of options for you. it's also nice to have a place to grab some enjoyable Hawaiian calories without a 10-hour plane flight! though, i'd still rather be in Maui or the Big Island--when are we getting that teleportation thing going?? Im giving it just 1 star for the crispiness but it's not authentic lumpia by any means. It tasted more like those bootlegged spring rolls from Chinese American takeout restaurants. Each roll was also very skinny/lacked filling. Saimin w chicken katsu - 2/5. To be fair I've never had Hawaiian style ramen before so I don't know if saimin is supposed to taste like this. But if I had to choose between a bowl of ramen from a Japanese restaurant or this saimin, you can't pay me to choose the latter. It was like a whitewashed version of ramen, in which the broth had a vegetable flavor and not rich at all. The toppings were Naruto slices and bits of veggies. The katsu was ok but not memorable. Loco moco plate - 3/5 my husband loves loco moco so I had to get it for him. I was surprised it came with two eggs (you get to choose how you want them done) and two Patties. So basically two servings in this plate! Despite the generous portion, the food was just alright. We had loco moco from vert frais (jap French fusion eatery in LIC) recently, and that was so much better. The patty here was neither tender nor juicy. The sauce was pretty average but vert frais' was above average. I was really looking forward to the macaroni salad in the plate but they didn't give a lot (they piled it on some rice so it looked like more than it was). The Mac salad was also a little on the plainer side. Only had a couple of carrot shreds I'm tempted to come back to try their seafood but I have my doubts

Hawaiian Kitchen, based in Bethpage, absolutely knocked it out of the park! From the start, they were incredibly easy to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I had originally requested 2-liter bottles of soda, but since they didn't have them in stock, they proactively delivered individual cans instead to ensure our team had plenty of drinks. Now, for the food--it was phenomenal. Our office hasn't stopped raving about it! The Coconut Shrimp and Grilled Shrimp were huge hits, and the Angus Steak was incredibly tender. Even the Chicken Fried Rice was a standout, and all of their signature sauces were delicious. They also did a large house salad for us with the most incredible Ginger dressing. I had numerous people ask me where I found them, and I couldn't wait to order for their next small house parties or to pick up dinner on the way home. It was all so fresh and not greasy. We also ordered spring rolls that were so light and crispy, pineapple fried rice that was really delicious, and marinated chicken and steamed broccoli. If you're looking for reliable catering that people will actually get excited about, I can't recommend Hawaiian Kitchen enough. THANK YOU for making me look like a superstar! This was nicely done. Everything appeared fresh and it was a good size portion. I would have just liked to seen a little more ahi tuna present, but besides that, very pleasant and filling. I also had the spam musubi ($2.95) and a side of macaroni salad ($3.95). The musubi was okay. It was a little dry. There needed to be more sauce present. The macaroni salad was a heaping portion, and it was tasty. There looked like a lot of mayonnaise present, but it was not too overpowerful as some type of sugar seemed to be incorporated to balance it out. Regardless of what it was, the salad was flavorful. Will I go back? I would.
