Fun bar at a great location right next to Coors Field. We stopped by to play some bags and have a few drinks and snacks after a long day of sightseeing. The outdoor area has a fun vibe with bags and giant beer pong games being played. Our server was A-mazing. She had 10 of us to deal with and didn't mess up one single drink order. I even received a delicious free Lemonade cocktail for my Yelp checkin. I indulged in a Viewhouse mule which has cucumber infused vodka and cucumber slices muddled with the mint. Fantastic! Had an absolutely terrible experience at The ViewHouse located at the downtown location. I went to watch a football game there today and watched the manager - - I'm guessing he was the general manager, I'm not sure - - yell at his staff, ignore his customers, and to top that off - - change the TV's from the 11:00 football games to the 2:00pm Denver game with less than 2:00 minutes left on some of the 11:00am games. I've been to the ViewHouse many times and had a great experience, this however was absolutely terrible. There are many other sports bars in the area, and until this manager learns how to treat his staff and customers better, or is terminated, I would not recommend them! read more

The staff and bouncers are absolutely horrible and aggressive. They kept harassing my friend and I while we were here.

We bought a private table, which was nice and the waitresses could not have been nicer. The bouncer out front could not have been a more insecure person. Will not return because he told us "we run this place" like a child. The waitresses all complained about him as he turned away anyone who tried to speak to him. He was apparently the security manager of the night and told everyone walking in the door that. The staff was amazing aside from him, but he ruined the night for everyone who stood in line. Just seems like a solid place to drink on a Saturday afternoon, opening college football weekend. We came in, first time here, but there was a lot of space. We went upstairs where they had the patio and windows open. To one side you can see downtown, the other side you could see the baseball stadium. 4 of us got random drinks on the menu, looked like a good selection. I ended up getting the VH lemonade I think, pink drink. But it was just toooooo sweet and costs about $9-11 range? Not sure, but somewhere a little up there. The best place to get a drink on game day! Great location, spacious rooftop and fairly reasonable prices for both food and drinks. I'm surprised by some of the recent reviews as I've had decent service the multiple times I've visited! The vibe day vs night is very different- I am mostly there at night to grab drinks on their rooftop but I went for brunch recently and I was impressed! Locally sourced, casual fare.Definitely something for everyone and the quality is there. Strong cocktails and a large beer/wine list. I recommend the View House Lemonade, which is vodka, lemon, raspberries, and sierras mist. It's bubbly and bright and pretty easy to drink! I love that outside they have covered and uncovered tables, a lawn, corn hole sets, and even a screen/projector for movie nights. We were sorely disappointed, absolutely huge restaurant but it seems lots of "mangers" and people with headsets but no one to welcome or seat you. We sat down at a main table in the indoor bar space. We sat at the top bar for a few beers, and then went to play the trash can-beer pong game which was super cool. (You shoot basketballs into trash cans full of water with beer pong rules). We met some nice girls there so sat inside with them for a but before we went to the game. Overall great place, the views were awesome, the service was good upstairs and outside the only thing that I'd say was subpar was the service inside after our last round as we were trying to cash out. My wife and we're supposed to meet some friends and family here but we're denied by the bouncer without any explanation. The bouncer proceeded to tell nearby police officers I assaulted him resulting in arrest and a restraining order. We were completely harassed and set up by View House and their staff with false accusations and discrimination. Mind you we are both Females and it's sad to see other reviews like this. This is a dangerous place for Females and members of the LGBQT+ community. This was also one of the rare times I've visited View House because the service and atmosphere is horrible. Spent the weekend in Denver and wanted to find a place where my cousins and I can watch the game and enjoy some tasty food. Luckily Viewhouse takes reservations and the restaurant was able to accommodate our table of 10 last minute. The first thing you'll notice is how spacious this place is, which is perfect for large parties. What I really liked about this restaurant was besides there being plentiful of TV's to watch the game, there is also a huge back patio that has Corn Hole and Life-Sized Jenga! So if you're not too much into Football like me, then the patio is a great place to occupy your time instead of being forced to stare at the TV! The food here was also solid and my favorites were the Nachos, Breakfast Burrito, Salmon Pasta, Pigs in a Blanket, and Spinach Dip. Also remember to check-in on Yelp so you can redeem that free shot!
