ViewHouse Ballpark was recommended by a Lyft driver, after asking him where everyone likes to go out on a Saturday night. He was not kidding. This seemed to be the place where everyone was on a Saturday night. And when I say everyone I mean everyone in their early to mid-20's. I love how large the space is here. There were several rooms for dancing and drinking. My friend and I came here on a Saturday night when shit was cray. We checked out the entire space, including the upstairs bar area where everyone was grinding on one another. We went back to the yard area where there was a separate DJ. The music was better there, playing a mix of pop and old school hip hop songs. Plus, the space was larger for dancing. On the sides were reserved booths and tables for bottle service. If you check-in you get a free lemonade cocktail! And it wasn't too shabby either. The cocktail was a strawberry lemonade drink with vodka, and had muddled strawberry with. There is a bar on every level, so was easy to get a drink. Dress code was enforced for men, it seemed. I actually showed up in just jeans and a tee-shirt and was let in. Again, the crowd here is young, so not really my scene. This was a fun place to check out though, but I wouldn't make this my first stop if going out. I have been here a few times but had a situation here that truly scared me. The staff here will not take care of you. I was watching the CU game with a bunch of friends here on a Saturday. Wasn't to packed but a good bit of people. Then, a girl fell and was unconscious on the ground. I work for the city in emergency services so I jumped up and checked pulse and got her to wake back up. She came to pretty quick but found out that it wasn't heat exhaustion or being to drunk. She said it was pretty common for her but was unaware what it was called. I asked her questions like typical emergency response. Who was the president? Where are you? Etc. she answered all quickly and correctly. I established a weak pulse and was scared she might pass out again shortly. Then, the security showed up and saw that she was awake and told her to get out of the facility. Her friend was calling the boyfriend that was inside and was coming shortly. Security didn't care and asked the girl to leave immediately. The girl was confused but left. I told the guards that she was possibly going to pass out again (especially if they rushed her out.) they said "It's protocol." They escorted her out the gates and sure enough she fell again. Lucky friends caught her or else she would of been passed out and hit her head on the concrete. At this point the guards were behind the gate and didn't care what happened to her on the sidewalk. I am writing this review to warn people going in that the team there will not watch out for your safety, are not trained in situations like this, and they will leave you on the curb. Secondly, if management is reading this, please train your staff to respond correctly to different situations. Not everyone is black out drunk. read more

Our waiter took 30+ minutes at a time to check on us and I ordered a drink, they made it wrong so we sent it back to get it made correctly and Nadia still charged me for the one I didn't drink.... I really this bar for all of its different aspects. There's the full bar, a place to eat, another area with a bar and dancefloor. We enjoyed a date night at ViewHouse and it was perfect. We went on Tuesday at 6 pm right after the holidays so it was not very crowded at all. The food was really good. Hubby had a veggie burger and I had the shrimp avocado bowl, which was filling and I loved the sauce. We had cocktails too. I loved that we could enjoy the games while eating and they had an outdoor patio with fire pits and several games of cornhole. We eventually went upstairs and the views of Denver were beautiful. There were more fire pits and it felt a little cozier upstairs. We tried their winter menu drinks. I had the kahlua hot chocolate, which was more hot chocolate than kahlua. My favorite part is that there were so many places to relax and hang out. Hubby loved that they played old school hip hop while we were there. We will definitely be back. My fiance and friend have been here lots of times during their barhopping days (precovid, of course). And this was all of our first time visiting during the daytime for lunch. The service was spectacularly quick. It felt like it was less than 5 minutes for everything to come out super fresh! They have a lot of fun drinks and I don't remember what mine was, but it had green tea and watermelon flavors that hyped me up for summer instantly. The food itself was pretty decent. Going to a game? Grab brunch before at ViewHouse. They have a great brunch menu. I met up with friends before a Rockies game. It's so convenient, and the food is great. They have so many seating options: upstairs on the patio, downstairs inside, street level outside. I got the goat cheese and mushroom omelet. It was so good! You really can't go wrong with goat cheese. Service was nice. I've been a few times, and the people that work there are always great. This place definitely surprised me! (In both good and bad ways.) We were in Denver for the weekend on a road trip, and we were heading to the Rockies baseball game that night and my husband and I came here before the game. In my opinion, it was probably the worse possible choice to put the beer in. They would have been better off charging us more and putting it in the same cup as my drink came in. But since they were busy, we figured they were out of cups. (Maybe....). Let's just say that this was a one drink stop though. There was absolutely no where to sit, so we just kind of stood around in different areas, watching the college football games that were on the TVs, until we finished our drinks then we left. This is obviously a neat little place for local folks to come to, I just think we weren't prepared for the place to be closer to a daytime "club" atmosphere, so if that isn't your thing, I'd head somewhere else. I used to like ViewHouse, I'd go with my buddy to watch UFC fights, and it used to be free. Now they charge you for entrance 10$ during UFC fights, which makes this place look greedy to me. I stopped by on Saturday for their free mimosa Labor Day party. When we arrived, the servers were a bit confused as to where we could sit and still be able to take advantage of the mimosa special. It took a few tries at different seats before we found a location we could both order food and the mimosas. Communication with the entire staff regarding the event could have been better. Once seated outside, we were given water and brunch menus. I ordered the egg tacos and my friend ordered the kale salad. Both were good -- nothing that would knock my socks off, but everything hit the spot and is about what we would have expected given the setting. The wait staff was kind and checked in frequently, making sure we were able to take full advantage of the mimosas. ViewHouse has a nice rooftop, as well as an open green area with a large TV and cornhole. A fun spot for night life, a game day watch party, or to spend a nice summer weekend day. I absolute love the Viewhouse locations. Whether it's time to dance the night away, or socialize during the day, it's always a fun time here. I had the breakfast burrito which was really good! It was a large portion most likely to fill you up. However, I was a little ambitious and wanted to try the jalapeño explosion burger. This has to be one of the best burgers I've ever had! It did not have any hint of jalapeño (which I'm so happy about since I do not like jalapeños at all). I came here with a large group of friends to celebrate one of their birthdays. The staff was very accommodating and combing our tables together. In addition our server, who was also training a newer server were absolutely amazing. It was 27-Dec, so I understand that employees are taking time off. Having said that, only the top floor was open and my family specifically went for the outdoor gaming area. The hostess said it was too windy, but the fire pits were on and weather.com clocked wind speeds at 7mph. I've worked in restaurant management for 8 years and know when you have a server shortage, don't lie to me. After a 20 min wait for a 6-tip at 2pm on a Tuesday, we started our dining experience. My strawberry mule was 60% ice, don't waste your money. The avocado shrimp bowl was pathetic, 4 grilled shrimp and a $19 price tag! I have been more satisfied with a $5 Tattooed Chef frozen meal. Don't waste your money. Cooks put cheese on my daughter's sliders despite ordering plain with ONLY ketchup. The Cuban was a bit dry, but overall satisfactory. It does get kind of packed on the weekends so if you're trying to be in low-covid risk environments - try to go during the week when it doesn't get crowded. I went with a friend recently and tried out the food for the first time. She had the cilantro-lime shrimp tacos which come with a house-made avocado tomatillo salsa, cilantro-lime cabbage slaw, radish, lime juice, and cotija cheese. She said they were really good. I had the avocado shrimp bowl which comes with sautéed shrimp, avocado, broccoli, scallions, carrots, cucumbers, vegan harissa aioli, cilantro-lime vinaigrette, and jasmine rice. Mine was extremely tasty and really hit the spot. Brunch was also extremely delicious from here, ordered the brisket skillet, huevos rancheros, bloody mary, & blood orange mimosas. Will definitely be returning for brunch soon! Trued out the steak and frites today which was delicious! A bit pricy but still delicious! I arrived at ViewHouse at 11:30 (after texting Josh several times) and at the door (2 greeters at door said Josh was not on-premise and rarely is, "He lives in Steamboat - he is never here!",) I asked for Josh or Sergio - and they stated that Josh was not on premise, but Sergio could be found at rooftop section. Arrived at rooftop and ordered a beer - and asked young blonde girl behind the bar - that I would like to talk to Sergio - but he never arrived after 30 minutes. This is my first time ever being here and I am so DISAPPOINTED. to be honest, that's an understatement. I'm visiting in Colorado with my close friends for a few days and we decided to come here. I really wish we hadn't. As cool as the place looks, they wouldn't let my black friend in because he wasn't wearing a belt. He wasn't sagging at all; in fact, his jeans were very snug, leaving no room to sag. When I found out they wouldn't let him in because he wasn't wearing a belt, despite his outfit being respectful, I was appalled. The only way we were able to get him in was borrowing a belt from a friend. Putting the name Nashville hot chicken on this is an absolute disgrace because it was NOTHING close to what it should've been.
