To start, this is more of a 3.5, but definitely not a 4, so 3 it is. Pricing is fair at least. Things are a bit chaotic here from the start. There's a line when you first walk in as it's an order first, then sit down type of place. There's also wait staff for the tables... so I'm not sure what's going on here, but it doesn't flow well. They also have cookies, wine, and other things you can grab while waiting in line. If you do grab a bottle of wine, they open it, grab glasses, and pour it, all while you are at the counter making an order... So the wait to get up to the counter can take anywhere from 2-5 minutes per person. We had about 3 families in front of us, so it took about 10 minutes for the line to move enough to finally order. We arrived at 645 pm a Saturday and they were already out of 2 appetizers. They mentioned something about the later you get there, the more things they run out of. I wouldn't call 645 late, but that's just me I guess. They also had to make sure they had enough dessert, which thankfully they did. I want to point out that everyone here is friendly, but you can tell they are stressed and there's a lot of growing pains. The door between the kitchen and the dining space broke while we were there for example. Given how chaotic the beginning was, we opted to get our meals to go. It took about 15 mins for it to be ready. When we got home, we found all of our meals were correct and well packed. Onto the food, and the ups and downs of what we got! To start, the fettuccini alfredo was awful. It is extremely bland and the portion wasn't great. Hard pass, 2/10. The lasagna is not traditional, which they pointed out at the counter, but it was pretty solid. The star of the show is the spicy sausage. The size of the meal was fair and overall it was a solid 7/10. If it had some baked cheese or really ANY cheese, it would have been even better. The penne was okay. We added spicy sausage to it as well which again was the best part. Ironically they asked us how we tolerated spice in regard to the dish having spicy marinara, so we were thinking it would be flavorful and spicy... but it was neither. And this isn't a subjective, "I find anything but ghost peppers hot," type of thing. It was simply just not spicy at all. 5.5/10. By far the best thing we had here was the tiramisu. It was a very generous portion, and was made with quality ingredients and lots of flavor. It is extraordinarily light and creamy. It isn't a traditional egg heavy recipe as far as I can tell. I think it was more cream and less egg/mascarpone or similar, but it was excellent. Lady fingers were well soaked and the coffee to sweet ratio was well balanced. 9.25/10. Overall, this is far more of a lunch spot than a dinner spot, or maybe a decent takeout spot. The restaurant has a lot of potential, it just needs some work as it's clearly a new place. I think they need to sort out the ordering situation, be less safe with the flavors, and completely overhaul the alfredo. The rail yard is just an odd spot for an Italian resultant in my opinion, so while decent, it's kind of a weird fit. We'll see how it shapes up over the coming months. I don't think we'll be back soon. But maybe by the end of summer or so we'll try it again. 3.5/5. Needs online ordering as soon as possible. read more

By far the best Italian food I have had in Oklahoma! I mean, WOW! So far I have had the fettuccine Alfredo, and pappardelle bolognese and the flavors are intense in the best ways! And the tiramisu was out of this world! Everything is made fresh, I mean everything! If you're in a hurry they will soon have take and go ready made dishes and take and bake meals for the family! This is a very casual environment with friendly prices for food. Now to the food it was good for what this restaurant is. I got the chicken parmesan and the chicken was good and pasta was cooked right. Flavor of the chicken was not over powering. The owner I can tell cares a lot about her customers and really wanted for us to feel comfortable and have a good dining experience. Because of her I gave five stars which I don't do often. I give 4 stars most times unless something unexpected happens, which makes me remember the experience. I will be back and for what this is, good food at a fair price. read more

We didn't have to wait in line even though we were there after church on Sunday. You order at the counter. The food was ready very quickly and served by a most pleasant waiter. The waiter was dressed in a suit and looked very sharp! The meal was hot and delicious. The restaurant was clean and bright and not loud at all. My husband sat on the chair and should have sat on the bench, however, because the chair was a little small for him (he was a tackle in football, so most chairs are small for him). We are a family of 5 and everyone found something they liked, the kids enjoyed the Mac and Cheese and Penne Pasta- their plates came packed with carrots and ranch and the best-ever chocolate chip cookie. If you are a parent, go ahead and buy some extra chocolate cookies at the counter to forego the temptation of stealing your child's. The homemade spaghetti and meatballs were near perfection with the perfect mix of spice and texture. The Chicken Piccata was fresh and the lemon capers added the perfect tartness. This place is the worst. Went there after having eye surgery and not eating for 18 hours. They had an entire selection of one type of beer. We got 3 beers but would only open one at a time for 2 people, WTF are they thinking. The food was barely OK but the presentation looked like they took a dump on the plate and served it before it got cold. All in all it is like the Panda Express for Italian food. Workers who don't care serving crap out of a can to people in a hurry. Our first time here and the food was exceptional. We also had a glass of wine as well and it complemented the food. I had read portions are generous and that's true. Also read that the facility is more like a cafe than a restaurant. That's also very true. Such a quality restaurant needs a better venue than the rail yard building with leaves blowing through the facility. Hopefully they can find a better venue to complement their food. read more

Definitely will return! We had fettuccini Alfredo with chicken. The portion size was perfect, and the bread was a great compliment to the food. The server was friendly and offered suggestions since it was our first visit. The seating is very similar to restaurants in Italy in that they are a little closer together than some might want during a meal, but it was fine. We ate outside and that was nice too. Lord have mercy! This place is unbelievably delicious, fresh & a great value. I've had the bolognese twice & tried the shrimp app, the salads and the chicken. The bolognese with pappardelle is rich and satisfying & probably my favorite but you could not go wrong with anything on the menu. My friend had one of the sandwiches and said it was one of the best things he'd ever eaten. Soft bread, lots of meat. This is a family affair, and the chef/owner is from Italy and his wife works the front & they are precious. The service was warm and friendly, and the cashier who took our order was very nice and very considerate towards our own personal tastes when we were having trouble deciding on what to get. The gnocchi had a light and tangy flavor from the Gorgonzola sauce and the walnuts added a nice textural element. The bolognese was flavorful and had a great portion. I had read some reviews about this restaurant, being a good Italian restaurant. We were so disappointed. The price was on par with Othello's, just one block away or Papa Dio's or even Olive Garden. The quality and taste is on par with something out of a can. They should charge about 1/3 the price for the lack of quality they dish out. Just stop by a store or 7-11 and pick up a can. The food was old and tasteless, from the salad to the pasta to the sauces to the bread. For the same price go to a good Italian restaurant. Unless you like flavor-less Italian food.
