Be prepared to make reservations for this child friendly restaurant with all the ambience (like street trolley tables) if you have a large party (6 or more) or young children who need to eat early, etc. As older adults, we were able to walk right in and eat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and conversational but also extremely efficient. She helped my husband pick out an IPA with a couple of samples. offered opinions on the menu choices (all pasta related) and info. Salads arrived chilled and fresh. The bread was good. I grew up with the California old spaghetti factory, so this is always a blast from the past for me when I get to visit one. Even though it's a different location, it still holds a lot of nostalgic memories for me, like sitting in the trolley car. My brother and I used to think that was so fun when we were little. Unfortunately the service always seems really slow at this location. That's the only negative thing I have to say. My son and I had to be at a concert and we sat at the table for 17 minutes without being offered water or our order being taken , all the waiters and waitresses were trying not to make eye contact and dodging. I ended up flagging a manager, Joey came over and was super friendly and very helpful and prompt. He got us served right away after explaining to him the situation. The bread is always nice and warm and I always order the meat sauce spaghetti I had a salad this time with creamy Italian dressing. It was very delicious and my son got the chicken marsala with minestrone soup. Of course, the best part is dessert. We always get the spumoni ice cream. I love how they have a three course meal. We also witnessed the manager yell at a party of 14 on MOTHERS DAY and threaten to call the cops on them if they did t leave. So inappropriate and rude. Food: yuck, and small portions what the heck? I was nervous when I read on the menu you can pay more $$ for a larger portion of food...but the regular menu price was $22 for a fettuccini. So if I wanted more then I'd pay $27? No thanks. I feel pretty much the same about this place as I did 3 years ago. It was a good place to eat before heading to Loud City Live. Our waitress wasn't the best. She never brought the ramano cheese to go over the pasta. Yet again the noodles could have used more sauce. Actually once mixed the sauce covered the noodles surprisingly well. I couldn't order from the kids menu, but she was nice enough to bring the senior menu. I chose not to order from that menu but an appetizer instead. I ordered the shrimp scampi. After waiting a few minutes I was told there were out of it. Very disappointing. I didn't end up eating anything. Just shared a friend's pasta and ate some of the stuffed ravioli appetizer. This was the first time we tried this place. We weren't sure about getting in as the hostess told the couple in front of us they wouldn't have a table available until 8 pm and it was only 5pm but then I heard him say they had 7 people. So when it was me she said they didn't have any tables but if we didn't mind eating at the bar we could help ourselves so we did. The young man behind the bar was quite busy but he got everything we needed. Took our drink and food order and didn't miss a beat. He was really awesome as he was telling us about the place and the menu. Great people person. I ordered the spicy chicken Vesuvius which had chunks of chicken breast plus chicken meatballs in a red spicy sauce along with mushrooms. I just added a little more Tabasco. Also a house salad with house seasoning which was a ranch but it had a hint of vinegar or something along tht line. My wife ordered the lasagna (very large portion) with a Caesar salad. All their dinners are 3 courses with ice cream for dessert. We both had spumoni. At first I thought the prices were a little high but after you figure in the salad and dessert it was really reasonable. Now if you were drinking alcohol, Thts a whole different story on pricing but since we were doing the opry and driving I figured water was the best. Will definitely go back. We stopped by The Old Spaghetti Factory and had a nice overall meal. The chicken Marsala with brown butter mizithra spaghetti was delicious -- rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. It's definitely a great choice if you like a little extra depth and savory flavor in your pasta. That said, I was a little disappointed that they changed their bread recipe -- the new version just isn't quite the same as the classic loaf they used to serve. The salad was also a bit watery, which made it feel rushed or underdressed. I'll start by saying Ashlyn was an excellent server - very attentive, professional and patient. The overall experience was mediocre, at best, though. A family member wanted to try The Old Spaghetti Factory when hosting family for the weekend. I was a bit tentative after seeing not so great reviews on Yelp, but sometimes you just have to experience things for yourself. The restaurant is in a great location. It was easy to ride share over to it from a local hotel. I had made a reservation, and our table was ready when we arrived. We were seated in a trolley car in the middle of the restaurant, which was cute. The holiday decorations were still up so it looked really pretty inside. The menu was a bit extensive so this was another red flag for me, but I went with a "safe" choice of spaghetti and sauce. Simple, right? Meh. The starter salad was pretty bad, most likely having been prepared that morning and placed in a freezer for easy access. The lettuce had been frozen and was thawing, wilting and transforming into a melted iceberg (see what I did there?) in front of my eyes. The meal is a 3-course meal, so it came with ice cream for dessert. We did enjoy our time together and the service was great, but I can't recommend this place when there are some pretty phenom options in Bricktown for tasty meals. read more

My friends and I went here for dinner and we were craving Italian. I was a little worried because the reviews were very mixed but we decided to try it. They had a three hour wait but said we could eat at the bar if we found seats we were able to get seats at the bar . We served right away. The waitress was very friendly knowledgeable and fast. My family and I were staying at the Hilton Hampton Inn at Bricktown. The Old Spaghetti Factory was located right next to the hotel near Brickopolis. We visited the week before the Holidays, on a Tuesday evening as soon as the restaurant opened for dinner service We didn't have a reservation for the restaurant and was a walk-up for 3. The restaurant was decked out for the holidays! There was a festive Holiday Tree, and garland all decorated around the railings into the second floor! The restaurant has two floors, the first and the second floor. The first floor has a boxcar train, and the second floor overlooks the local streets in Bricktown. Our booth table was situated on the second floor. Restrooms are also located on the second floor. When we were seated, the team member came over and provided us menus. She had informed us that she would bring us waters. We waited for approximately 15 minutes for our order placement, and waters still weren't provided. We had ordered the following Garlic Bread with Marinara Sauce Mizithra Cheese & Browned Butter Sauce: Greek Mizithra cheese with browned butter sauce. ($17.25) Kids Meal - Spaghetti and Meatballs Spinach & Meat Tortellini: Hat shaped pasta stuffed with a blend of roasted chicken and Mortadella, topped with Alfredo Sauce and shredded Romano Cheese. ($17.25) After placing the order, we had informed the team member we were still missing waters. After 5 minutes, she brought it over. There was suppose to be complimentary bread provided to our table. We had never received it. Instead the team member had stated after the garlic bread arrived to our table, that their bread machine was broken. I was surprised that she stated that as another table next to us received complimentary bread. No other option was provided to our table. The Sicilian Garlic Cheese Bread was delicious! Dipped in the marinara sauce, the bread was scrumptious! The cheese was perfectly melted and the bread wasn't burnt. 10 minutes later, we had received our entrees. The Mizithra Cheese & Browned Butter sauce was interesting. I was hoping for some more flavors, but it was quite bland. All I could really taste was the browned butter sauce. I wouldn't order the dish again. There was a lot of pasta on the dish though! The best dish of the evening was the Spinach & Meat Tortellini. The Alfredo sauce was really yummy. It was thick and creamy. It mixed well with the Tortellini which was filled with the chicken and mortadella. I ended up splitting this dish with my husband! My daughter enjoyed her spaghetti and meatballs. For dessert, we had the vanilla ice cream and a chocolate milkshake to-go! The ambiance was wonderful, but the service was extremely slow. I came with a large party, and we weren't seated until everyone in our group had arrived. Luckily, there's a cute little gift shop by the entrance to browse while you wait, a fun way to pass the time. We were seated upstairs. The atmosphere was cozy and eclectic, with a vintage charm that fits the Bricktown vibe. That said, service was on the slower side and a bit disorganized, which might have been due to the size of our party. I ordered the Caesar salad, baked lasagna, chocolate cake, and a scoop of ice cream. Everything tasted fine, just nothing particularly memorable. It was one of those meals that felt more about the experience than the food itself. So happy i settled for this place to eat dinner. It was a very good experience as a whole and i would come here again. My friends and I were celebrating valentines and one thing I'm always worried about at restaurants is the service especially because we are teenagers but this place was so welcoming and kind to us and I really appreciated that. We stopped here for our Fall Break in OKC Bricktown. It is a really decent restaurant. Soemthing to me was off. My taste buds did not agree with the meatballs with marinara on spaghetti. She greeted a rush of guests, answered the steadily ringing phone, checked for reservations, checked in impatient visitors without reservations, and all the while gracious and warm in her demeanor. Several times while we (two of us) waited to be seated, she hurriedly walked to the kitchen and returned with huge platters of food in to-go containers for Door Dash, Grub Hub, etc. I cannot imagine the energy all of that effort took!! Whatever wage she is being paid is simply not enough. She was hostess, food runner, and more. We were seated and the server, Macie, was clearly working more tables that most servers ever cover. She was unhurried when taking our order, and ensured the dishes we ordered were accurate. Her hustle, just as with Briana, was impressive. At the OSF website, there is a banner that said they are hiring, and clearly this dining establishment is terribly understaffed. The employees that interacted with us MUST receive a monetary bonus for their service. Quality: The pasta is pretty standard, banal fare. Salad from a bag with dressings that were nothing to write home about. For a kitschy, special occasion dinner, we liked the decor and the lively music. Price: three entrees, and an appetizer (a clumped island of spinach artichoke dip that looked and tasted like it has been reheated in a microwave) and two soft drinks. $90.00. All in all, our first and last visit to the Old Spaghetti Factory. There are multiple pasta places in the area at more reasonable prices.
