Definitely bringing my car back here for any and all issues with it. I brought my car in because I needed an oil change and I noticed that one of my tires had low pressure. When I back to pick up my car they let me know my brake pads were running super thin. This made sense, I hadn't replaced them in over 40k miles but it just wasn't something I thought about at all. Honest, Honest and Expert Service! Amazing. I went to a large national chain repair shop with a noise coming from the front of car. I left my car behind and they did a test drive and put the car up on the lift.....and told me I needed to replace my front CV axels and boots. I could not afford the repairs so I picked up my car and asked a friend if he recommended anyone. He said call Patrick at Viking Automotive. IN LESS THAN 1 HOUR FROM MY PHONE CALL TO PATRICK...he had my car up on a lift in his shop and discovered what was making the noise. LOOSE LUGNUTS on my front wheel. He saved me spending hundreds of dollars on repairs I did not need by being honest! Patrick made it a priority to get my car up on the lift and get me out when I showed up. WHY DIDN'T THE LARGE NATIONAL AUTOMOTIVE CHAIN NOT CHECK MY WHEELS? It seems so basic to me that they would have check it out... I will never trust a large national shop again. I have never had a better experience with an automotive shop! I am from out of town and when I realized my radiator was cracked and I'd need to replace it ASAP, I was very anxious about vetting a trustworthy auto shop, about the cost of the repair, and about the time commitment to get the repair. Viking Automotive quoted me a great price and were able to get me into the shop in a timely manner. I went in ahead of time, so they could officially diagnose the problem and I immediately got great vibes from the entire crew--they were good listeners, they didn't try to up-sell me, and they actually seemed to try to give me the best price possible. Possibly BEST of all, the price I paid for my services ended up being a bit lower than the quoted price AND the total turnover time to get the repair only ended up being THREE HOURS for me on this day. I happened to find myself at this place. I was visiting a store near by. I had a problem with a tire loosing air quickly. It was snowing and no other place could look at it. I walked in Viking hoping for a small chance if they could help me. They had jobs going on but didn't make me feel less important. They pulled my car into an available bay and hosted the car up. Their service was top notch and I started thinking they way they were acting that this was going to expensive. I believe I was dealing with the owner or manager. Super nice yet making sure his shop was proficient and in task. He found a problem with the tire and told me I was in a super dangerous situation. I expected a sales pitch. But he referred me to 3-4 stores for a new tires that he trusted. Tires ain't really his thing but he said if any of those stores charge more than "X" dollars to call him back and he could order some. He lowered my car carefully and told me to be safe, NO CHARGE! but referrals and good information on my safety. Incredible service I had ever seen at a shop. I felt I dealt directly with manager personally for a minor issue. But he made me feel it wasn't minor. This is where I go now if and when problems happen. I feel like I could drop car off, have it fixed, and not have to ask questions or second guess. read more

Paid over $600.00 to fix the air conditioning which only lasted 2 weeks. They then refused to fix it again at their expense.

I was reffered here by a friend, and when my power steering fluid was low I decided to give Viking Automotive a try. I scheduled an appointment over the phone and they were able to get me in first thing the next morning which was nice for me. When I arrived, my reservation was already printed and ready for the mechanics to being working on my vehicle. They were pretty upfront with me about cost, which I appreciated because some places will tell you it's one price then nickle and dime you until you've broke the bank. After leaving my car there all day they called me to tell me what the diagnosis was, and told me how much each part would be to fix. I decided just to have them replace one thing, but they topped off all my fluids anyway! The price was fair, and they were very informative about the service provided. Viking was very knowledgeable and professional so I chose them to do the pre-purchase inspection. Patrick talked me through what they found. Because of the known engine concerns, Viking went the extra mile to include an engine compression test as part of their pre-inspection. I could tell they were honest, objective, and sought my best interest in talking through the concerns of the car. I was very satisfied and give my full recommendation. Jan 19, 2016: I am still incredibly amazed by Viking. I've since moved, but Patrick offered I could call in the future if I had questions or wanted to talk about my engine with it's known issue. I've taken him up on this offer a couple of times. His memory of my car amaze me, and he continues to give great insight.
