Hate to downgrade, but our latest experience with the regular and Sicilian pies ordered for delivery has been terrible. I know that most food when delivered tastes a bit different from when you eat it at a restaurant and part of it has to do with the experience of eating out itself which provides a lot more pleasure than just eating delivered food at home, and part of it has to do with pure science of the food becoming more humid, etc after it's been packaged, however, it was day and night. The cheese was just too gooey, the sauce tasted like it came from a supermarket can, my kids plain refused to eat it and they love pizza! They still like to come to the Villa after school to grab a slice, but we have stopped take-out and delivery from here, it seems that the only slice that holds up well is the Chicken Caesar which Villa does really well. Dear Villa, please try to figure out what goes wrong with the delivered pies! read more

This place is a hidden gem! I had to take a detour due to an accident on Long Beach Rd. Ont o Mott street a few weeks back and noticed that the place that some of my friends would always talk about was right in front of my face. I decided to stop in and grab a few slices to bring home. I tried their chicken Caesar slice which was absolutely delicious,A regular slice and what they call an upside down Sicilian which were also delicious.last week we ordered dinners to go and my wife and I where very impressed with the quality and price. Their chicken scarp in my opinion is as good as Don peppe's ! So happy I stopped in that day and this is mow my new Italian food spot.One thing I forgot to mention was how friendly the Staff is. read more

I recently moved (after hurricane Sandy)to another town , but still make the trip to villa Formia at least once a week. Today was one of those visits to villa and I just tried their upside down pizza which was absolutely amazing !! My wife loves the stuffed eggplant pizza and my son loves the chicken Caesar pizza. they always manage to impress. read more

I think we finally found some proper NYC tasting pizza on Long Island. Crust, sauce and cheese were all solid. Prices were excellent BUT.....pizza is small. Maybe 2 people can share a large if they have mild appetites. Overall good pizza. But order 2 pies. read more
