Came here for a company Christmas party on 12/07/25. Service was good. Food was great. The bartender (straight black hair, dark purple lipstick) should think of switching career paths? She was the most unpleasant, irritable bartender I've ever come across. Tried to give it the benefit of a doubt thinking maybe its one of those days but no matter how much my colleagues and I try to be patient with her, she just ended up rushing us. When one had asked info about a drink she literally gave a shrug plus a one word answer. I came back to get another drink and unfortunately had her serve me again (the other two bartenders were not available), and I asked for their selection of tequila and all she did was POINT to the bottles on display. No words, just finger pointing at the tequila bottles. It ruined the mood and vibe ONLY for a little bit because as soon as we got back to the party, we all just shared the same grievances about said bartender, then moved on. It was definitely unpleasant and awkward to see her "peek" at how much tip we were going to leave on the card reader before she handed our drinks. read more

Pointed out an error on the printed menu, and the waitress confirmed they already knew--if so, why not fix it with a sticker or reprint? The kabobs are definitely not Persian-style as advertised; they resemble other Middle Eastern styles. Please remove "Persian/Iranian" from your Yelp listing--it's very misleading. The rice was sticky and overly salty in spots. The beef had decent flavor but was very undercooked for medium and had too many fatty pieces. The side salad was the only highlight. Service was also slow, which didn't help the experience. I think it's a decent casual hang out place for watching sports with beer, finger food, burgers, or pizza--not for Persian food. read more

If you're craving bland, tasteless food served at a glacial pace, this is your spot. From the moment we sat down, the experience reminded me of a sad, off-brand Red Robin -- but somehow worse. Our waitress forgot every single request we made, from drink refills to condiments. Not once, but multiple times. The owner strolled by our table more than once without acknowledging us -- not even a glance or a "how's everything?" This is a long overdue review, but we had a wonderful experience at Villa Haven. We were looking for a nice, spacious, outdoor venue to host our end of life celebration for my FIL last month. A few weeks before our event, we stopped by for dinner to try out the food for the first time. We had sliders, chicken strips, pizza, and chicken wings which were all high quality deliciousness. We spoke to Fady, one of the owners, who was so personable and professional and helped us plan our event for up to 100 people. On the day of the event, which was Saturday at noon, everything went smoothly. We had a buffet style menu with staff serving pizza, salads, 2 types of sliders, wings, spinach/artichoke dip, chicken strips and drinks. The staff were wonderfully attentive and made sure our guests were well taken care of. Fady was also there to ensure our event ran smoothly. He was flexible since we didn't have an exact headcount and needed to add more food. We are so grateful to Fady and his staff at Villa Haven which made this sober and stressful life event such a beautiful and stress free celebration at their restaurant. Don't be fooled by how quiet this restaurant may seem; the food, kind staff, and exceptional ambience are top notch. We sincerely hope they do well in this competitive industry as Villa Haven is such a unique and lovely addition to our Tustin neighborhood. Was craving Mediterranean food and found this place near my house and I was very impressed with the food quality I had the Mix Grill with rice and mashed potatoes and got a side of their creamy macaroni and cheese . Everything was absolutely delicious their cooks are doing an amazing job with the meats all high quality. Our server Marcy was very sweet and attentive with all of our needs she even recommended to try the hookah I had the (Lady Killer) . Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. Our group of 15 waited about 20 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. When the server did arrive, they were polite and kind, but it was clear the staff lacked proper service training. To save time, we ordered both drinks and food together. However, the drinks arrived more than 20 minutes later--at the same time as the food. No water was offered or served at any point. The food also came out in stages rather than all at once, which was awkward and uncomfortable, as some people were eating while others were still waiting. I ordered a beer, and it wasn't poured well. I also ordered the shrimp taco, which I was surprised to find was breaded and deep-fried. Unfortunately, it tasted like it was cooked in old or low-quality oil, and I couldn't finish the dish. Several food items were forgotten entirely, and we had to remind the server multiple times. Appetizers either arrived with the main course or well after the main dishes were served, defeating their purpose. Overall, while the server was courteous, the experience suffered from poor timing, lack of attention to detail, and subpar food quality. read more

This place is amazing but we had some issues with reservation, I called and made sure we will have a good table for 6 on the couch but when we came they told me none of the tables were available. Was looking for a spot where we can watch football. We remembered passing by this place a few weeks ago and decided to stop by. It has a lot of seating available, inside and in the patio. We sat down and waited 20 minutes for someone to come to the table to take our drink order. Then, a short 25 minutes later they brought out our drinks. All 4 of them. It wasn't busy until about an hour after we got out drinks so I'm not sure what was going on that they couldn't wait on tables. The food seemed like it could be ok sometimes, but it wasn't fresh or made recently. Also, we were bitten by mosquitos, killed a spider on the table and had small flies all around us. My family and I have come multiple times specifically in the weekend. We came by today right before midnight for some hookah and tea like we've done several times before and even last weekend. When we were waiting in the front to be seated, an older middle aged man with glasses came to us and I said "we're four people and would like to sit outside" and he looked at me and said we can't seat you guys. I said why what time do you guys close. He said 1 and I said we have one hour and we've come multiple times before around 12. And he said no I meant the kitchen is closing. And I said that's ok we don't want food we just want hookah and maybe tea if not it's ok: then he said ok "just letting you know." I said thank you for letting me know. Then he said by the way it's minimum 40 per person for entertainment nights. I said we've come multiple times on "entertainment" nights and no one has said that to us. He just started shaking his head and said that's our rule we've always had that. And I said I know I'm just letting you know that all the times we've come no one has said that. Are we still able to get a few hookahs and tea since the kitchen is closing anyway so even if we wanted to make it 120 we couldn't. Then he just shrugged and said "what do you want me to do." So I said if you can't accommodate in anyway even knowing that we did not know and the kitchen closing and everything then we'll be on our way. We drove 30 minutes and he couldn't care whatsoever. A manager or owner like that truly ruins a whole restaurant experience no matter how kind any of the workers are or how good the food or ambiance is. It's not difficult to be kind to regular customers or even new customers that are trying to contribute to your business. Extremely disappointing and will not be returning, nor all my family members or friends. read more
