We absolutely loved having our rehearsal dinner here! Our guests were raving about the food, as well as the beer and wine selection. Gabi was also very helpful and responsive when planning for the day. She and her husband were attentive throughout the event, even going out of her way to make sure my mom always had a drink in her hand. Just the perfect place! We are looking forward to coming back soon.

A great locals bar. Has music acts and some very nice art. We also had some delicious pizza with arugula. Chill place to hang with friends.

This was the perfect place for a happy hour with friends. I was really impressed with this small quaint little restaurant- they had an amazing happy hour you can't beat! We all ordered the small paninis which was a great portion because it also came with a side salad. The owner/server was very kind and I will absolutely be coming back here.

A few weeks ago, we held our rehearsal dinner at Villa Wine Bar and it was exactly what we were looking for! Low stress, delicious food, and excellent wine and beer! Gabi was so easy to work with and helped us create a perfect menu for our guests! She let us play some overhead music, and let our wedding planner come a little early to decorate our tables! I also loved that we had the entire place to ourselves, and that we communicated directly with the owners. You could tell, this adorable restaurant has a lot of love behind it! It was such a special night and we cannot wait to have another event at this beautiful restaurant!

This wine bar is a little off the beaten path, but well worth the detour! Great wine and beer selection in an amazing setting. There is a fountain inside with Spanish influences. So cool! They also have a kitchen and serve cheese plates and salads. If you are looking for a low key spot to enjoy a glass of fine wine or a pint of beer away from the crowds in the Funk Zone, this is the place for you! Cheers!

Lovely people, lovely food, outstanding offerings. I don't want to let anyone know about this place. Off State and right.

Great little spot to enjoy what Santa Barbara has to offer. Live music, ambiance, great food, fantastic people and of course great wine.

It's a casual wine bar with eight rotating beers on tap and live music most Thursday's.

WOOOOW. I was blown away by this adorable little wine bar. The customer service was great. They were always checking in on us and were so kind. We got 2 glasses of wine and the meat and cheese charcuterie board. When charcuterie board arrived, I'm pretty sure my soul left my body and went to heaven. Thank you so much for a great afternoon and for allowing outside seating for social distancing. We will be back!! (:

The owner, Lenny, was super cool, welcoming, and made sure we had a great experience from start to finish. We had an amazing time, and everyone in our group enjoyed themselves. Hands down, I'll be back! It seemed like a great way to sample a variety of wines without it being overwhelming. We were warmly welcomed by Taylor, who made our visit even more enjoyable. She was incredibly friendly, took the time to explain the menu, and walked us through the wines we selected, making us feel comfortable and never rushed. We also ordered the charcuterie board, and it exceeded our expectations. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, and it was surprisingly filling for the two of us. Between the welcoming service, delicious food, and relaxed atmosphere, this ended up being one of our favorite stops in Santa Barbara. We had a series of issues from the start. Our assigned waiter was completely inattentive; he ignored our table, failed to check on us, and never brought the cheese board we ordered. We eventually had to flag down another member of the staff just to get any service at all. Even after we caught his attention, our server seemed aware of us but made no effort to approach or assist. Additionally, the wait time for our wine flights was excessively long. When the cheese board finally arrived, I was shocked to find that all three cheeses were served still inside their original plastic wrappers--not even sliced. To make matters worse, we were provided with plastic knives to cut the cheese ourselves, which was incredibly difficult and frustrating. I have never encountered a cheese board served this way at any establishment. I really wanted to enjoy this visit, and I want to give credit to the other waitresses who were working that day--they were great and were the only saving grace of the experience. However, the lack of basic service and the bizarre presentation of the food made this a trip I wouldn't recommend

The cocktails are highly creative, diverse in flavor and design, and really could stand up to any you would find at a top cocktail bar in a major city. In a stretch of Lower State packed with breweries, wine bars, and roaming weekend energy-drink humans in vintage bowling shirts, it threads the needle nicely between cocktail bar and tropical escape pod. The menu leans tiki-adjacent rather than deep-cut exotica, but the drinks are smartly built and avoid the "every problem can be solved with more rum" philosophy. There's a solid spread of spirits across the board, which makes the place feel more welcoming to a broader nightlife crowd instead of strictly rum disciples clutching vintage Trader Vic's mugs. The Oaxacan Dead was the standout for me. Smoky, balanced, endlessly sippable. One of those drinks where every sip quietly talks you into ordering another without turning into a sugar avalanche. The Jungle Bird was also great, though presented more in the direction of a Negroni than the punchier tropical versions you usually see. Bitter, restrained, and easy to settle into. Crowd-wise, things tilted a little frat-floaty as the night rolled on, but the staff handled everything smoothly and kept the vibe from turning into full pirate mutiny. Service stayed friendly and composed even when the volume of the room started climbing like a malfunctioning theremin. Big bonus points for the location and outdoor seating. Being right in the middle of Lower State makes it an easy launch point or final stop depending on your evening trajectory. Grab a drink, people-watch, drift between breweries and wine spots, repeat as necessary.

We visited over Memorial Day weekend with a group of five after taking the train in specifically to spend time here. Before committing to purchasing bottles, we simply wanted to taste a few wines. From the moment we arrived, Amanda was incredibly rude, dismissive, and clearly uninterested in helping us. It felt as though we were an inconvenience the entire time. Thankfully, Cory stepped in and was welcoming, professional, and kind enough to offer us samples of the wines we were interested in trying. What was completely unacceptable, however, was Amanda making comments like, "the owner doesn't even like you." This was both inappropriate and unprofessional, especially considering I do not know the owner and the owner does not know me. There was absolutely no reason for such a disrespectful remark. And that is just ONE example of remarks she made to my friend and I. She also talked down on a stutter that I have, just inappropriate!! The manager or owner (not sure which roll he played exactly) seemed to have been drinking because while he was defending his out of line staff, he yelled "I'm not even supposed to be here, I should be out golfing!" As if that was my fault. Overall, this was a horrible experience and a major disappointment from a place I used to genuinely enjoy and recommend to friends. It is unfortunate that what was once a great spot is now associated with such poor treatment and lack of professionalism.
