Amazing Peanut butter cookies! Perfectly chewy. Bought one on Saturday and went back Sunday to bring some home with me.

They told me they starts closing in 20 min and I might see some cleaning. 4pm closing!? Yeah that's island time and something new for me. Thank you for letting me know. They prepared my panini pleasantly and free water server was so helpful after walking. I had Godfather panini. Several different hams, cheese, basil mayonnaise combination was delicious. FYI, they have meal combo special, breakfast special and lunch special but all have specific time slot.

Nice view, friendly service, yummy foods and cozy ambiance makes for a relaxing cafe. Many locals come here to enjoy a soup and sandwich or simply to get a coffee and chill. It's nice & warm to sit by the fireplace to catch up with a friend. And it's a reasonably quiet space where you may find a spot by the window and work on your laptop. I enjoyed their soups and I also liked their pastries and breads. The Godfather sandwich was yummy and their focaccia breads are to my liking. They also have weekend specials which I would recommend trying as they are usually delicious. One of my favorite food combo here: lentil soup and quinoa salad. I find their healthy dishes here are quite good and I am not a huge fan of their "not so healthy" items or fried foods such as fries or chicken fingers. Their menu features a variety of drink options from hot teas to bubbly drinks, or you may choose to add a shot of Bailey or Kahlua to your coffees. Do budget ample time to dine here because they make your foods fresh to order plus there's usually a small line up. This is a cute spot to stop for a bite when visiting Artisan Square and worth the hike on a nice day. Approximately 5 min drive from Snug Cove and can park for free in the Artisan Square parking lot.

According to the website, this chain is named after the owner's golden retriever. It sure looks happy. Parking is available in front of the building, as well as along various village side streets. The inside is nice and modern. Funky looking speaker system (it's functional) in the corner. Great view of the water. There are also a couple of outdoor tables to the E of the building. Staff are friendly and cheerful. No complaints. The doughnuts are a bit pricey but they sure are delicious. I really like "Asian" style doughnuts as they are less sweet than their western counterparts. I had the matcha cream and could definitely taste the matcha. Will be trying their other locations at some point. Recommended.

The drive itself led us to an incredible bay that genuinely felt like we'd been transported to Alaska--calm, wild, and breathtaking--and then there was this cozy little gem waiting for us. Any place named after a dog and so welcoming to dogs instantly wins my heart. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, even though the place was bustling with happy locals and travelers alike. Every pastry in the case looked beautiful and tempting, making it nearly impossible to choose. The coffee, though--absolutely perfect. Smooth, balanced, and exactly what you want on a crisp morning adventure. Goldie's felt like one of those special finds you don't plan for but remember long after. If you're anywhere nearby, it's a must-stop.

It was time to meet in real life because I would be in her town before crossing the Canadian border with my niece! Perfect timing! The fantastic suggestion to meet at L&L Bakery was Laura's. Knowing that L&L Bakery is a family business run by a mother and daughter made the experience feel even more special and personal. Our wedding cake turned out absolutely beautiful and was exactly what we had asked for. It looked amazing and, most importantly, tasted incredible! We also loved having a variety of cupcakes for our guests to choose from, and everyone absolutely loved them. There was something for everyone, and we received so many compliments on how delicious everything was. On top of the beautiful presentation and amazing taste, their pricing was very reasonable, which we truly appreciated while planning our wedding. L&L Bakery helped make our dessert table perfect, and we couldn't have been happier with everything! We highly recommend this wonderful mother-and-daughter bakery to anyone looking for beautiful, delicious, and reasonably priced cakes and desserts. They truly helped make our wedding day even sweeter!
