Sweet Thea - my version of blind box, yummy pastry inside...no it's not a Labubu

Pre-ordered their seasonal pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving dinner and it was a hit! This is a good place to stop for coffee and to pick up holiday favorite pastries for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Plus I appreciate that they donate unsold baked goods to local charities and help out the community, it's a solid promise that they make their pastries fresh. Cinnamon bun is still one of my favorite item to pick up here. Ambiance is also very cozy for reading a book here. The owner intentionally choose to not offer free WiFi to encourage more time spent on reading or to remind cafe visitors to unplug and unwind.

Their baked goods and breakfast are delicious. Quite spacious bakery and friendly staff.

Happy to finally have an opportunity to try Sweet Thea in this new location. What a great change. Big windows allowing in plenty of natural light, windows into the bakery to watch the baking, free street parking along Main Street and Great baked goods and coffee. Think this will be my new go to place for a coffee in the 'hood. It was a very positive experience and happy to recommend Sweet Thea Bakery for coffee and baked good.

I really do take some of the elites review very seriously and when I saw her post this location and it's goodies, she is right. Spacious Cafe Bakery located on Main Street with ample street parking. Very pretty decorum and very sturdy chairs. Tried a large Americano (too weak/light ) for my taste and my friend and I shared the Chocolate Pistachio Mousse and Vanilla Raspberry Lemon. Both cake slices are moist and very well thought out. Looking forward to returning.

    Bread making available to watch.

Lovely bakery cafe on Main St. They carry a lot of Koko Monk's chocolate products and best of all their hot chocolate by Koko Monk is SO GOOD! Their baked goods are also tasty. I got their Double Baked Almond Croissant and a Palmier, their croissant definitely better of the 2. As for the space, its nice and open with wooden decor; lots of natural light. The place was crowded on a weekend - all the seats were taken. The kids were entertained watching them make bread through the window while we got our take out.

This is my favorite coffee shop now. I have had the baked stuff at farmer markets before they open this location. The bread is baked fresh daily and it is so good. I love their pastries and cakes and coffee too. Not into the hot chocolate as it is too sweet and not that chocolatey for me. For reference, I prefer Blenz, Thomas Haas and Thierry dark hot chocolate. They use Koko Monk hot chocolate here. The place is spacious but it gets very busy in the morning after 930 am, even on weekdays. It is quieter in the late afternoon but that means the breakfast and lunch menu is unavailable too. I like that they also carry other local producers' products like honey and coffee beans etc. there is a table of books if you want something to read. Free parking is available on the street.

Such a great place to have in the area. The space is open and inviting with a large window that allows you to watch their bread makers at work. My daughter loved sitting and watching them pat the bread and set portions into trays. I've been here on several occasions and their treats are reasonably priced and delicious. On my most recent visit I tried their chocolate hazelnut babka and it was everything I wanted it to be. The perfect amount of chocolate with a good amount of hazelnut chunks with a fun knot of dough to made it easy to pull apart and share. I've tried babkas at another well known Ukrainian bakery and Sweet Thea's was much sturdier and fulfilling. It was $6 and I would return for this. They have a loyalty program that allows you to collect points with dollars spent to redeem for items such as macarons or cookies. Definitely makes visits here more fun!

Nice large bakery and coffee shop on Main. Parking is available on the side streets, as well as limited time parking in front. The place is nice and modern and spacious. Bright walls and high ceilings, and several tables outside (E facing patio). This place has AC. Looks like they have an actual baking station here. Bunch of us watched them make bakery stuff (round loaves) while drinking our coffees. Staff were friendly and professional. No complaints. My friend couldn't stop gushing about the coffee here. He was seriously impressed. I thought the coffee was definitely quite good too, but not life changing. Maybe my palate isn't developed. Wouldn't mind coming back, though the parking situation isn't the best. Recommended.

The bakery has moved to a bigger space. Plus, they have added tables and seats for customers to enjoy coffee and finger food. It is such a great place for people to relax. I personally really like it. The bread and pastries are very good. Customer service is great. It's a bit hard to find parking in the neighbourhood. If you are living in the neighbourhood, it's more convenient to walk to the bakery/cafe.

Sweet Thea Bakery is in fact a bakery, you can observe the creation of their various cool cakes and baked treats as it happens from the inside seating - cool factor A+. A great deal of thought has gone into the flow and design of the bakery. They offer a substantial selection of delicious options, plus coffee house favourites and some Mile high cakes. Some seating inside and out, it was quite busy so we could find a table. Service staff was very friendly and the coffee came up quickly. We shared a super zesty lemon danish and blueberry scone, both excellent. My Americano was decent but I found it to be a little too hot, it burnt my tongue even though I had added Cream. Despite being busy it was super clean, you get the feeling it is a popular spot. I've been past this spot maybe 200 times and never noticed it, tucked away on Main Street. We will be back!

A lovely little bakery with the highest of quality treats ~ great mix of both savoury and sweet Everything is freshly made, beautifully displayed and DO taste as good as they appear. Had the good fortune of buying their cookies packs before at local craft shows, so its so nice to visit the actual shop in person! Hope to come here again soon. On this visit I bought a slice of lemon raspberry layer cake, a pear almond tart, fig bar, jam cookie, ginger snap cookie ... cause variety! (find me on Instagram @aida.loves )

Fantastic cookies, scones and bread. The chocolate chip cookies are even better cold out of the fridge, nice and crispy! Love this place!

Was playing email tag and finally submitted the 39 flavors and didn't hear back until after another week and then told they won't deliver only in morning when they know our reservation was for 730pm and they're open until 9? I even replied back and nothing. We own and run several business in lower mainland and in United States and this customer service from Unni Pastries is trash. At least you can do is reply back and apologize? For wasting time when I specifically told you it's for family and friends flying into town for a funeral burial. Will never use their business again. I highly suggest Mello. They replied and helped me out last minute. Shame on you! Learn how to run a business and treat customers esp previous customers who were supporting the business and fellow Krn but it's clear the new owner doesn't care about the customer or quality it's all about quantity. Maybe my 39 donuts which I offered to pay extra for time and packaging wasn't large enough but money is money. Especially during this time and economy. You should've at least replied back and even tried asking us to do pickup as the restaurant is down the road. Do better! Go to Mello which isn't too far and they bake fresh daily better pricing and reviews and consistency!

The sagos were cooked just right with the perfect texture and most importantly, it wasn't too sweet. We also ordered their instagram worthy mahjong tiles which is essentially red bean and coconut pudding. It's very cute and definitely instagram worthy. It's not too sweet and I liked that it came with a side of red bean sauce which made it less dry. The money is also made of edible paper but we didn't touch it cuz it felt weird eating it. However, it wasn't anything special and we wouldn't order it again. It was quite busy when we arrived on a Friday night but it's much easier to go in a smaller party. We were a party of 2 and walked right in even though others were waiting because they needed a bigger table. The place is clean and service was fast. They don't have a time limit even though they are busy so it's a great hang out spot. We would definitely be back to try out other items they have to offer.

This place is right on Robson street so a great place to grab a snack, drink, pick me up while shopping. Prices seemed reasonable.
