Ordered five hamburgers and sides on the mobile app today. We ordered medium to medium rare on the burgers and all of them came out rare to raw. Our tentative pick up time was 1232, we were standing in their pick up line for 20 minutes beyond that until finally somebody asked what we were waiting for. We never heard them call our name or a number. The french fries are called. The burgers were cold. It almost looked like they just threw the hamburgers in the bag. I believe in supporting local small businesses, but this is $100 waste of money. I will not be coming back anytime soon. I would recommend everybody go to Waimea Butcher, big Island brewhouse or McDonald's in lieu of this place. read more

I ordered a Hawai'i Island Beef Burger with caramelized onions, as well as a side of fries with wasabi mayo dip. When you order it, they ask how you want your patty cooked. I got mine medium rare. The beef patty itself was 11/10, probably the best beef patty I've ever had. It was very juicy, fresh, flavorful, and thick. The rest of the burger was still good but did not stand out. I didn't have any sauce in my burger besides mayo, so the taste of the burger relied entirely on the beef patty (which some may prefer). The caramelized onions didn't seem to have any flavor, even when I ate them alone. The wasabi mayo was very faint in wasabi-flavor. It was like hearing someone yelling "wasabi" 200 feet away as you're eating fries dipped in the wasabi mayo. The fries were good as well but nothing special. Overall, I enjoyed my burger and would recommend you give it a try! But maybe add more toppings to it to make it stand out more and avoid the 60-minute onions and wasabi mayo dip. This is such a gem of a spot. Fresh and local ingredients really elevate the food. While the burgers are delicious they are a little heavy (depending on what you put on them; I love to do bacon, farm fresh egg and jalapeños!) so I've recently been getting their fish burger which is equally delicious! The star for me are the milkshakes and fries! You can tell they use real potatoes and you can get truffle salt seasoning on them! It's located in a shopping center so there's also some cute shops to check out while you're there. And while there's no indoor seating at the restaurant it's connected to a food court that has ample indoor seating with a few outdoor options as well. Service is wonderful! Be aware that they make everything fresh/to order so it can take a little bit to get your food if it's busy but that's just because everything is fresh and piping hot! read more

Since we parked on the lot of the Parker Ranch shopping center and used the bathroom in there, it was time for lunch. Seeing the ahi burger on the menu here, I decided to give it a try. My mistake perhaps is not reading the menu because I expected a solid piece of tuna versus chopped. Especially when the cashier recommended that it be cooked medium. No fries included. Taste wise, the first thing I get is the sweetness from the pickled cucumber and spread. I didn't expect the burger to be fried either. The brioche bun maybe was old because it was crumbly on the edges and in the middle. Id like to try a regular burger next time as yelpers have good reviews, and the truffle fries. We sat outside at one of three tables on a nice day. I love people watching. Don't go inside to Domino's or get Burger King or McDonald's across the way. Give this place a try. Solid burger joint at the entrance of the food court in Kamuela. No real seating at the actual spot, but there are tables inside the food court pavilion. This is a burger joint, so don't expect to order kalbi ribs here. Simple menu really. A few burgers to choose from, and you get to select different toppings. The sides are just fries with various dipping sauces. Got the Hawaii Big Island Beef Burger with some sweet onions, greens and mayo. Pretty decent sized burger with a thick patty. The patty was really meaty. Could've used a tad bit more flavor though. Nothing spectacular, just a solid burger. The fries are twice cooked, so they're extra crispy on the outside and soft on the inside - the way a fry is supposed to be. This is a mom and pop joint, so they don't have a large assembly line to put together your food; don't expect your burger to come out in 5 minutes. Took about 20 minutes or so on this mildly busy afternoon, but I didn't mind as I knew it would be a while. Was worth it I think. read more

Wow! Village burger was delicious. I was headed back from Kohala and decided to stop at Parker Ranch for lunch. Village Burger is located at the corner of the food court and served delicious burgers. I called in a phone order and good thing we did because the line was super long when we got there. I let the worker know that we had a phone order and she let me skip the line to pay. I love burgers, but I am not hard to please. While in Waimea we stopped at the shopping center on a Saturday for lunch. After walking around the food court 3 of us opted for a burger at Village Burger. I ordered a burger deluxe and substituted the grilled onion for raw. All together we ordered three burger and two orders of fries and three drinks. I ordered mine done medium and it was perfectly medium and delicious. I loved the char and the flavor of the beef. The fries and buns were also good. My problem is that the beef patty was dwarfed by the bun. There was at least a quarter inch of bun surrounding the beef patty. I was also surprised that my total came out to $56. Tasty, but too pricey for me. read more

Stumbled upon this local grass fed hamburger joint in Kamuela, we were so impressed with the hamburger, nothing beats local grown and fed. Menu also has vegie options with locally grown hamakua mushrooms. A little bit for everyone on their menu. They also do shakes, but we weren't in the mood for shakes, but I'd definitely want to try one next time we are in Kamuela. Ordered the double cheese burger and Hamakua mushroom burger with truffle fries, nothing disappointed, all was so onolicious, the burger was so fresh you could tell the ground beef was not from the mainland and the mushrooms were also fresh and locally grown. The hand cut truffle fries were the winner, had alot of flavor that is stood out. Service was a wee bit delayed but none the less as soon as the cook was done he came to take our order. Note that they are cash-only. There is limited seating outside, and they seem to run out of certain items by 2pm. I ordered the last gorgonzola burger, and lo and behold there was a thick piece of gorgonzola cheese on top. Delicious. They cooked it to a perfect mid-rare. Double delicious. It was slightly on the greasy side, but that's how I like it anyway. I ordered the truffle fries but it was light on the truffle flavor.
