Friendly staff and convenient location. However, the shelves are often barren. I've left the store empty handed many times.

What a gem to find this family owned nursery in the heart of Poway!…read more The nursery is MASSIVE! I could spend hours here looking at all the different plants, trees, and flowers. They have an extensive selection to choose from and if you don't find what you're looking for, they will help you find it. Their prices may be a little higher for some items compared to corporate stores like Home Depot but the quality justifies the price. For some other things, they are actually the lowest price. The nursery is clean and organized with plenty of workers to help assist you with picking something out, answering any questions, or helping you load things into the car. I was in and out within 15 minutes! The parking lot is plentiful so no issues there. For parents of little ones or those who love watching mini trains, they have a huge mini train track set up outside in the back by the bonsai trees. A fun and free entertainment to keep your kids occupied while you shop. We bought an apple tree so hope it's fruitful (crossing fingers)!

Plenty of people working to help load or answer questions. The prices are higher than big box stores, but your not going to find this kind of variety and different sizes at any box stores. I feel that the higher prices are justified based on selection and the customer service

I am in love with this place! It's been on my list for quite sometime and I finally made it and I'm…read moreso glad we did. Lots of variety for indoor and outdoor plants and all your gardening needs. The staff were super helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. I really appreciate that. There's so much to see, I'll have to go back when I have more time. I loved the pot selection from the smallest to the largest and the prices were reasonable too. You might see the shop cat resting or the doggo Enzo excitedly addressing the goats. Oh! Grab a bite onsite or perhaps grab some fresh flowers from the little flower boutique with some good gift giving ideas.

The best place in City Heights and my favorite San Diego nursery! I can be here all day -- and so…read morecan my pup Enzo. First of all, the place is huge. There's so much to see, so bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and comfy shoes since the ground can be uneven. You'll encounter steps, slopes, and some dirt paths. The parking lot is small and fills up fast, so I like to get there early, especially if I'm doing a big plant haul. It can be tricky loading plants when you're parked far away. What doesn't this place have? There's an onsite bar and grill that's dog‑friendly, has live music, and serves brunch on weekends. There's also a cute boutique flower/gift shop with curated items perfect for any plant lover. They offer free local classes to help educate the community -- I've taken the shrub class, but they have tons of gardening‑related workshops. They have chickens, birds, turtles, and more. They care for and rescue animals, which is amazing. They sell compost, and they have every plant you can imagine, plus a large selection of seeds, pots, tools, beekeeping supplies, and canning equipment. I love that this is a neighborhood, locally owned nursery that truly gives back. They do so much to educate the community and promote sustainability. Please support them and get your next plant baby here. A perfect place for kids and pups!
