I stopped for lunch, and I was seated right away. My server was prompt and took my order right away. I ordered the Double Decker Club with fries. My food was delivered within 10 mins, and everything was hot and fresh. At first glance this didn't look that appetizing, but once I took a bit it was really a good sandwich. There was a lot of meat, both ham and turkey. There was at least a couple of pieces of crisp bacon along with a slice of American cheese. Lastly there was a lite amount of iceberg lettuce. The sandwich was served with a very generous portion of what look like store cut fries, which were very flavorful. Overall, I was very happy with my meal, service and price.

Chicken Fried Steak with excellent Hash Browns

All positives about my experience today. Clean, friendly attentive service and good food. Chicken fried steak was tasty and well prepared. Maybe not the best I've ever had, but about average. Hash browns were perfectly done and were the highlight of my meal. The sourdough toast was also top notch. Too full to eat anymore but the pies looked awesome.

a bowl of stew and a plate of bread

The worst meal I have had in years. Freezer burned chicken and potatoes, rubbery eggs and rubbery cheese microwaved was my skillet this AM. Two breakfasts, two coffees and my bill was $30, quite overpriced to say the least. Don't waste your time at this place, go to the Machine Shed and get a decent home cooked meal for the same if not less money. This place is a joke. Pictures of my disgusting skillet with a nasty slimy sauce. Inedible.

Bought a peach pie out of the case. Absolutely horrible. I don't know how old this thing was but it tasted terrible. I'll never go back.

My client brought me here for breakfast - ok for the English muffin - nothing else on the plate was worth eating.

The waitress was polite and helpful and the food was above average, especially the hash browns.

This is a high end restaurant. It has a beautiful view from atop the Rhythm City Casino…read more The service was excellent, as expected. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu, thorough, and checked in with us at the right frequency (often enough to be helpful, but not so often as to be interrupting). The food was mostly good, but had some misses. I had the prime rib as my main course. I ordered it medium-rare. It was melt-in-your-mouth terrific. As far as I could tell it was seasoned very simply with just salt and pepper. Normally I am a horseradish guy--it was supplied with au jus and horseradish sauce--but the flavor of the meat was so good that the sauces actually detracted from it. The asparagus side was disappointing. It was prepared very well--looked like it was grilled--and was seasoned well. The problem was the quality of the asparagus itself. Granted that we are not exactly in-season for good quality asparagus, but I expect a high end restaurant to at least make sure the ends are trimmed adequately to ensure there are no tough bits left. My wife had the vegetable pasta and reported that it was good. My kid had the kids' pepperoni pizza. Again, I was disappointed in this. It was overcooked. He normally doesn't eat the crust anyway, but when I tried to eat the leftover crusts, I found them to be really hard. Also the pepperoni was seared to the point that it was hard and crispy. The desserts looked so good, I had to try two. The salted caramel cheesecake was excellent. It was light and fluffy, while still being rich and not overly sweet. I also had the lemon blueberry cake, which was a new addition to their offerings. This was good, but the cheesecake definitely outshone it. Prices were on the high side, but not outrageous. Overall, this was a mixed bag. I would eat here again on the strength of how good the meat was. I would definitely be interested in trying one of their steaks in the future. Given the prices, I wouldn't do it very often though.

Food and service was amazing! Will definitely visit again while in the Davenport area!read more
