I needed tires on both of my vehicles and saw their add for free oil change and $100 rebate if you use their credit card. I asked if I bought two sets of tires would I be eligible for $200 rebate and they told me yes. I asked that the oil change be done along with the new tires. When I picked up the vehicles they told me that they do not do the oil changes then and I would have to come back to have that done. I then asked for the form to get the rebate. I was told that they do not have them and I could only get the rebate online. I went on vacation with my new tires and when I came back and went online, it said that I was too late to get the rebate. I was never told that the deadline was 4 days after I purchased the tires. I then received the bill from the credit card company and discovered that the interest rate was 33% and it you were late on a payment it would jump to almost 40%. You would be better off getting a loan from a loan shark. I called HQ and was told they would open an inquiry. A few days later I got a call from Dave and explained what happened. He said that I would have to deal with the credit card company which was not related to them . I told him I already called and they said I missed the 4 day deadline. He said he would talk to the store manager and get back to me. A few hours later he said they would give me two free oil changes instead of $75. I told him I already had two free oil changes and that the rebates were for $200. He said he would get right back to me. NEVER HEARD BACK FROM DAVE

They noted the repairs my car needed without being pushy or trying to upsell services. The place is clean, there is coffee, it's usually not busy. The location is superb: close to rookwood shopping plaza so you can walk to grab some food or shop while you wait. The pricing is very reasonable. David is an excellent employee who goes above and beyond in ensuring customer satisfaction. He was incredibly patient and understanding. I highly recommend this place.

When I asked Jeff how long it would take him he said an hour or less and I asked why the difference between him and the dealership and he explained it to me and also said that the scan itself would only take an hour at the dealership as well. I was nervous a bit to be honest cause I know some mechanics can be "rough" on treatment (like leave a scratch or dirty the interior, etc. When I arrived, comfort wasn't immediate, but as soon as I discussed with them as to what I needed done to the vehicle, I knew it was going to be in good hands. We just had a parking brake repair for a manual transmission car done today. My husband had a…read morenational chain look at that brake while we had an oil change awhile back. The national chain had quoted a $200 labor charge and plus a hefty part charge. As my husband and I like to spend local if we can, we decided to try Arnold and Son to see if it would be similar. I stopped in informally for an estimate on my own. They took the time to explain (in terms I understood) the possible causes and quote an estimate for each cause. They wouldn't know for sure the extent until they had the tires off and could get to the brake. As the estimates for each cause where very fair, we brought the car in today. It ended up being a minor adjustment and a very low price (small percentage of the national store estimate). In addition to performing the repair, they rotated our tires for free. They just said "we had them off anyways, so why not." It was just refreshing to be pleasantly surprised at the mechanic and 100% feel you were treated honestly. Would highly recommend.

We had some bad weather and he stated that they needed until Wednesday to complete the job. I paid him $40 for diagnostics and then $150 for the tow. Then sent $550 for parts. I also got a rental for 5 days through budget rent a car which cost me 500$ Wednesday came and it wasn't done. He said it would be done Thursday. I got the rental another day. Another $68 and $15 extension fee. Friday came and he said it's still not done. So after a week I have paid over 1k and it's not done. He promised it would be done the following Tuesday by 8pm. I returned rental that morning. At 9pm when he didn't show up he texted that he was done but there was still an oil leak. WHAT!!!!! He said he had parts and needed until Monday. Monday morning I asked him if it was going to be completed as promised and he said no. He needed til Wednesday. So 13 days he has had my car and it's in the same condition. I just had enough and sent a tow truck to their shop to get my car. When tow truck arrived it was at someone's house. They told me it was a mechanic shop. It's a random house on a sketchy neighborhood and my car sitting in front untouched with snow covering it still. He misled me as he had a shop. He just paid google bc he was the first to pop up. I trusted him and he lied several times. I am now at a mechanic shop hats legit and have had to get ANOTHER rental car for the week.
