First time at Village Road Pizza on a friend's recommendation...it was a busy Friday night but we got our pizza pretty quick and we liked it. I prefer more cheese and pepperoni, but I'll give them another try and you should too.

Really nice little pizza spot tucked away over in Long Beach. Only one visit here this far but I was pleased with the experience. You eat with your eyes first and the looks are top notch. I believe they sell slices but fresh pies are only 1 size: 18 inches. Huge pizza and huge slices. Sauce was tasty, perfect amount of greasy goodness from the cheese and pepperoni, and I was actually into eating all the crust. This spot is definitely going in my regular rotation...

Pizza is good. Tried the spaghetti with meatballs which was pretty good too. Great service. Limited seating inside.

Best pizza in the world Amazing prices :) Great customer service ! It's a bit small inside but it makes the ambiance that much more special

I used to come here during the lockdown, it was quick and they serve pizza by the slice. It's been a minute that I haven't been and I don't know why. Decent tasty pizza at an affordable price. The service here is always great. It's a cute small layout but it's very welcoming.

I went with my friend and I was short on the slice of pizza and let us go and also gave us both two pizza slices for me and my friend and the people there are nice

This is my favorite pizza place. I don't know what it is about their pizza but it's so good. I want to say it has a lot to do with the crust which is how I judge my pizzas. They're not fancy by any means, just a small neighborhood pizza spot on a quaint little street. But they are consistently delicious. They're wings are great too. The absolute best thing is their ranch dressing for whatever reason. I actually buy a container of it every time I go to dip my pizza crust in. Note that parking in this street can be challenging during peak meal times and weekends. So it would help to bring someone who can run down and pick up food if you're not eating there.

I took my seat at the bar and was greeted by one of the employees. She was super nice and friendly. I saw a sign that had a $5 Wing Special. They were typical hot wings. I got mine medium. Tender bite, and slightly crisp once you get to knuckle of the drum. The pizza has a nice greasy pool, pepperoni has slight crisp. Crust was soft in the center, crispy at the end, had a nice bottom crust. Slight flop, but holds its integrity. The sausage could have been a bit more well done to get more flavor, but I prefer the pepperoni, since the sausage is crumbled. Very bar type ambiance. But it was pretty quiet. The weather channel was on. Barstool like seating. Cost about $12.13. Decent size parking lot, but it was slightly difficult to find parking.

We've actually been to another restaurant under the same company as Rasselbock, so we were delighted to be able to stop by since it's close by! We parked in the very back of the restaurant in the little plaza, and were seated with ease. They have indoor seating and outdoor seating, especially for furry friends. We originally sat inside, but our friend brought his dog, so we moved outside. We had ordered several drinks and had sat at the restaurant for over 6 hours. We ordered a range of BRLO IPA, Hacker, their seasonal beer, and more. As for food, we ordered their jagerscnitzel, Brussels sprouts, truffle fries, spatzle, and beignets! Our friend ordered their bratwurst with sauerkraut. We were very impressed with how delicious and fresh everything was. It was extremely savory and crispy. Quite addicting alongside our beers. Our servers were very delightful and very accommodating to our needs. They provided support and checked in on us frequently. We never were rushed to leave and were able to enjoy our conversations. I'm an advocate for good food, good service, and great brews! Please expect us to be back!

The…read morewaitstaff are friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and the cozy atmosphere makes it an enjoyable place to dine. Curry Wurst Platter - 4/5. I love currywurst, the iconic German street food consisting of a grilled or fried pork sausage sliced into bite-sized pieces and topped with a curry ketchup sauce, typically served with fries or a bread roll. Having eaten plenty of currywurst throughout Germany, I can confidently say this is one of the better versions I've had in the U.S. The fries are excellent - crispy on the outside without being dry. The sausage has that satisfying "snap" when you bite into it, although I wish it had a bit more herbal seasoning and a richer, more savory interior. It's also slightly drier than my ideal version, but that's a minor nitpick. Overall, it's comforting, well-executed, and an easy recommendation if you've never tried currywurst before. BBB Burger - 4/5. I was pleasantly surprised by this burger. The combination of bacon, a juicy beef patty, blue cheese, and crispy shallots is a winner. The bold flavors complement each other surprisingly well without any single ingredient overpowering the others. There's also a nice contrast in textures: the crunch of the shallots, the tenderness of the beef patty, the crisp bacon, and the soft yet sturdy brioche bun all come together beautifully. The bun deserves special mention for holding everything together without becoming soggy. Homemade Apple Strudel - 3.5/5. Kudos to Rasselbock for serving the strudel with vanilla ice cream instead of overly processed whipped cream--it makes for a much better pairing. The apple filling strikes a nice balance, offering enough sweetness without becoming cloying. The blend of tart apples, warm spices, and buttery pastry creates a more nuanced and satisfying dessert. My only complaint is that I'd prefer the pastry to be a little thicker and flakier to provide more texture and contrast with the filling. Rasselbock Schnitzel - 4/5. The schnitzel is nicely breaded and fried, with a crisp, golden crust. I do wish the meat were a bit juicier, but the flavorful cream sauce helps compensate and pairs very well with the schnitzel. It's a satisfying, well-prepared dish that I'd happily order again. Lastly, they offer a solid selection of German and German-style draft beers, making this a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy authentic German comfort food with a good pint. Overall, Rasselbock delivers a satisfying dining experience and is well worth a visit if you're craving German cuisine.

The person who helped us the most was, Soky. They even have a second level for a rooftop outdoor view. They have limited options when it comes to other alcohol. When it comes to the food menu, they have a bit of everything. They have a big selection of - small bites / appetizers. Which makes it perfect to share with friends. They have pizzas Burgers Seafood options Pastrami burgers and pastrami fries (their pastrami is a favorite here) Vegetarian options And, weekday specials I like the atmosphere. Just be prepared, it does get pretty noisy in here during the weekend at peak hours. They have TVs and just from the amount of people packed in here. The atmosphere inside also has a view of the water. It's just one big glass window. So you can see the outside view from inside They offer a military discount And WiFi

Upon walking in the host said we could sit anywhere but on this day, half of the restaurant was closed off for a party which was fine. We sat on the beautiful deck. The tables have QR codes which is fine but it does tie you to that table making it hard to change tables mid order (will get to this point in a minute). 10 minutes into sitting down, a patron walks by us and as he is next to our table he buckles over and throws up. It's like 1pm on a Wednesday mind you...this bro was being a messy ass queen and getting that drunk at 1pm on a Wednesday? Bro get yourself a wife. Anyways. By this point we had already ordered and since the QR code is attached to the table and since that's how we ordered, we had to wait for our food before being able to move tables. 10 minutes then 20 minutes go by and not a single employee has come by to clean up the vomit and it's right next to our table and in main walk way... After we got our food, we moved tables and ate. The food was just okay at best. Way too expensive for that's ballast point for you.

Mid week when we arrived which wasn't too crazy. There was no one on the patio which was nice as it gave us first choice for a seat...lol... Everyone was seating inside. The place itself isn't that big. You have the bar area with some bar seating. Then there's a couple of tables inside and of course the patio which is along the sidewalk. Personally I prefer sitting outside for the people watching. The staff were all amazing and very friendly. Places like that make the experiences more enjoyable. You want someone who is friendly and respectful. As we were there early, we grabbed one of the beer which they have quite a good selection on tap. There's also wine if you're not into beer. When it came time to grab some food, we were able to get a table inside. Majority of the breweries tends to serve pretty much the same things, pizza sandwiches and salads. No complaints here. Simple food goes a long way. There were a couple of us so we grabbed a few things to share. Started off with the pretzel balls with cheese dip and honey mustard and the chips with queso cheese dip. Pretzel was tasty and outdid the queso dip. Pizzas of course which were pretty big in sizes. A couple of the pizzas and a salad did four of us with leftovers. Their Hawaiian pizza was quite tasty and was finished. We also ordered one of the mushroom pizzas with an egg. It was tasty but a little on the salty side. The arugula salad was delicious. Simple but tasty. And then there was ham pizza I believe with onions and peppercini. That was also a favorite of the night. Overall, the place was quite fun. Not a big brewery and more intimate. The crowd was great and as most places are very kid and family friendly. There was couple of kids when we arrived. Service was great.
