    Salad bar!!!
    Joni R.

Pizzamania is our favorite neighborhood pizza place. No special toppings...just good basic pizza with a crust that's doughy in a good way. We like to take it home and heat it on a pan so the bottom gets crispy. The salad bar is also really good at an affordable price. And hubby likes to come for the lunch specials -- they have sandwiches and pizza slice combos that come with salad and a drink. Tonight we got a large pepperoni. When I walked in, Sergio knew my order. There is a good-sized seating area with TVs to watch the games and a few video games for the kids. It's not usually too crowded. Best part: fountain Diet Coke is 10/10.

Came here on a weekend evening to pick up a Hawaiian pizza! The server was very kind in his recommendations. We waited about 20 minutes for the pizza, and it tasted great. It's a rustic diner/bar vibe inside where you can eat your pizza.

Service was great! Good was good. Not my kind of pizza but we were hungry. It was busy but it was so hot inside. No AC.

This is for the meatball sandwich. Their pork meat didn't taste all that great but overall the sandwich was saucy and cheesy to enjoy as a whole. It came with a small bag of chips.

Really good pizza tucked away in LBC. First time here, but very familiar with a location in Whittier with the same name and really liked their pizza so why not. Much smaller location, but food was pretty good and salad bar was a nice touch. Not a ton of options, but very fresh ingredients. The pastrami pizza was really good and loved how crispy the crust was. Wings were very good as well. Personally prefer a thinner crust, but for the style of pizza was very good and would return when in the area.

I think it's a perfect pizza spot next to the college for all the students. Great location, good prices and my daughter enjoyed the wings & pizza. I ended up getting sick the next day from the pizza but maybe it was just my stomach is sensitive. I'm not good with pizza that is too greasy. My daughter was fine.

Ordered this pizza randomly through Door Dash and it's the best pepperoni pizza I've had in a long time. Everything tasted fresh and it wasn't super heavy. I definitely like to visit Pizzamania in person.

I hadn't been to this pizza spot in a while, and omg their food is still so fresh and flavourful. I had their pastrami pizza with no onions and it was so good. The crust is crunchy and just made to perfection. We did a lunch special with an order of wings and a salad, which the salad bar had fresh ingredients. Love how friendly they are and how they come and check up on you to make sure all is good. Whenever back in LBC this is a must stop pizzeria. Their parking is still a bit hectic as it's shared with other businesses in the strip mall, be patient or try parking on the street.

    Meat Lovers Pizza

We checked photos online for this restaurant and it looked like it was good. So we gave it a try and let me say, it doesn't disappoint at all. We got a pep and olive, meat lovers and a cheese. The toppings are fresh and tasty! The cheese is generous and stringy. And the price is extremely fare for the quality. I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Is this the same pizzamania and owners as the one in Whittier/la Mirada area?

This was originally owned by the same people, but it was sold to new owners at some point in the late 90s or early 2000s.

We parked at a garage at the City Place Shopping Center a block away that has free parking for the first two hours, so it's definitely worth it. There's also some street parking if you can find it, but keep it simple and park at the garage so you're not worrying about time. I've been told that they check parking at the Burger King next door, so don't park there. The 4th Horseman is located off of 4th St & Solana Ct. It's a 21 and over bar, so absolutely no kids allowed (completely heavenly to get away from screaming brats for a while). There's a small stage in front for when they have bands, trivia nights, comedy shows, movie nights, etc. There's bar seating and plenty of tables all throughout the joint, so if you don't readily find a spot to squat keep on walking and you'll find something. It's a full bar, so they have whatever's your poison. For food there's pizza (by the slice or full pies), calzone, salad, brussels sprouts, and sourdough knots. We kept it simple and had the Slasher Pizza (pepperoni) with a Basic Salad. We sat in the back past the bar, which is where they have a pool table and a bunch of arcades to kill some time. There's a self-serve water station, but if you need anything else just go to the bar and they'll be more than happy to help you out. The pizza and salad were pretty good! If you're more health-conscious, they have a lot of vegan options to choose from. If you don't care about that, the pizza slices are huge and have the perfect amount of grease while you're pounding drinks! Honestly, I'm a big fan of The 4th Horseman! Growing up a metalhead, the music and atmosphere are nice and cozy for me. The employees were all really nice, which is always a big plus when trying something new. My only regret was not grabbing some of their merch on my way out, but next time we make the trip I definitely will!

Some find the pizza sizes small or the prices high in comparison to your average pizza joint - but your average, everyday pizza place in California is just...ew. Their crust is very thin, Neapolitan style in a brick oven, beautiful and a little chewy, slightly-charred from the brick oven. Amazing texture. Traditionalists, so we just got the Margherita and Bianco, adding some mushrooms and a drizzle of truffle. SOO good. We also tried the fried zucchini blossoms, which were very light and not oily at all. Caesar salad was very delicious and fresh, also had the octopus, which was perfectly grilled and like eating steak. To finish, we had some amazing coffee with tiramisu. Wow. Mid week when we arrived which wasn't too crazy. There was no one on the patio which was nice as it gave us first choice for a seat...lol... Everyone was seating inside. Personally I prefer sitting outside for the people watching. The staff were all amazing and very friendly. Places like that make the experiences more enjoyable. You want someone who is friendly and respectful. As we were there early, we grabbed one of the beer which they have quite a good selection on tap. There's also wine if you're not into beer. When it came time to grab some food, we were able to get a table inside. Majority of the breweries tends to serve pretty much the same things, pizza sandwiches and salads. No complaints here. Simple food goes a long way. There were a couple of us so we grabbed a few things to share. Started off with the pretzel balls with cheese dip and honey mustard and the chips with queso cheese dip. Pretzel was tasty and outdid the queso dip. Pizzas of course which were pretty big in sizes. A couple of the pizzas and a salad did four of us with leftovers. Their Hawaiian pizza was quite tasty and was finished. We also ordered one of the mushroom pizzas with an egg. It was tasty but a little on the salty side. The arugula salad was delicious. Simple but tasty. And then there was ham pizza I believe with onions and peppercini. That was also a favorite of the night. Overall, the place was quite fun. Not a big brewery and more intimate. We ordered a half and half pizza online for pickup and spent over $30 for pizza and a 4oz container of ranch. They told us it would be about 20min when we ordered so we got ready and left. We got there probably 15min after we ordered and grabbed two cokes while we waited. I tried to pay with cash and was told he might not have change to give me. I said that was ok even though it's pretty lame that you don't keep change in your register. He happened to find a very large coin bag and made me change. We were sitting right at the front and you couldn't miss us. They asked us a few times what our name for the order was and we told them the same thing every time. Finally after about 10 min they asked us for the 3rd time what our name was and then walked away. We could hear someone say "the order for Kymmy didn't leave they are here" or something along those lines. We kind of just looked at each other. The guy that rang us up came over and said, "sorry something happened to your pizza it'll be another 20min or so". At this point we had already been waiting about 15 min for the pizza. So we said ok because we were starving. One of the employees asked us if we drank wine we said no we didn't and that's why we were drinking cokes. He said, "ohh, okayyyy..." and gave us a very judgmental look. Like sir, you don't know why we aren't drinking. We also kind of figured he wanted to give us a few beverage for the mix up. But that was the end of it. We heard someone say our name and we asked if ours was ready and one girl acted like we were being impatient while waiting. Like we didn't just wait over a half hour for food. Finally our pizza was done after a total of 40 min and there was very minimal apology for the delay. We took it back to our hotel and we were so excited it smelled so amazing and it looked so good. I cannot tell you how disappointed we were when we took our first few bites. It was not that great. We had ordered pepperoni and the veggie pizza. We ate half of it because we were starving and very quickly regretted it. It made both of us super sick on top of everything else Needless to say we won't be back here and won't be recommending this place either

Overall, it was solid--sauce had good flavor, cheese was decent, and the dough was nice. Nothing mind-blowing, but definitely a respectable slice. My only issue was the balance--there was a bit too much cheese for the crust, so even folding it New York-style, it didn't hold up well and kind of fell apart. A little more crisp on the bottom would've made a big difference. I also tried their Sicilian grandma-style focaccia pizza, and honestly, that was a huge letdown. It had this dusty, raw flour taste right away, was dry and spongy, and way overpowered with Parmesan. It just didn't come together at all--pretty disappointing, especially for the price. I've had frozen pizza that tasted better. Ended up just picking at the cheese to salvage something. All in all, the regular slice was decent, but the focaccia pizza really missed the mark for me. Probably not a spot I'd go back to.
